Bike packing is a lot of fun , Scotland is a bit weird , no trees , no bushes , no flowers and no birds anywhere ? It is like the planet MARS or the moon ! I was up the Wick area , awful people and desolate mountains and dead lakes ! Inverness nice people and great pubs , Loch Ness was weird with not one single bird or wildlife to be seen , just desolate bleak dump of a country ! Wales is much better and Cornwall stunning !

Fantastic. I'm absolutely in awe of the off-road mileage you put in, but you still seem to enjoy the trip. As a Scot myself I'm doubly thankful for you passing through so many places that are dear to my heart. I'm still not sure how you can do it on a diet of pastry, meat and cold water, but you do, so hats (or helmets) off to you! Props. Can't wait for the next episode!

Have cycled some of these sections and I clearly missed the correct entry to the military road to the Corrieyairack Pass as my start up there was v v narrow. Impressed you descended on the dark-I came off twice in the daylight on that descent-pretty chunky rocks around-was v envious of my mates hard tail mountain bike for that section. impressed also that you manage all those miles with so little food and no coffee-will look forward to what’s to come

Josh, great video of your Great British Divide John O'Groats to Lands End bikepacking trip. I am very interested in the outfront handlebar extension shown at the start of the video. It looks like a u-shaped device with some electronics on it. Could you or anyone else tell me the name and maker of the extension?
I am about to set out on my first UK/Europe touring trip. Norwich, Amsterdam and on to Istanbul. If you ever cycle over in N. America, I recommend Alaska/ BCs/Top of the Workd hiway, Yukon Cassiar Highway, Dalton, and Dempster for gravel biking. Watch out for the bears tho'.
