  • Ash & Don's reaction to the Bridging The Rift Part 1. That was absolutely INCREDIBLE - It really hit me so hard to hear about all the hurdles they had to push past to get this made, and we're only starting. LETS GO!!!
    Arcane is an animated series by Riot - Animated by Fortiche Studios.

    This video got content ID auto claimed by netflix for apparently being apart of "Geeked Week 2022: Animation Showcase featuring Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Arcane and more!"
    Stuff like this SUCKS. We watched this on youtube and are wondering why we would get a content ID claim if riot's own Bridging The Rift videos aren't.
    Please consider supporting us by becoming a channel member or via patreon - because it's a lot of effort to make these videos and to find the time to film them just to get hit with a palpably weak (as in super unrelated) content id claim.
    Hoping Netflix releases this video - but if they dont and decide to copyright STRIKE us - I'm going to be making a video calling out how terribly bad the content ID system works.
    Hoping the new UA-cam CEO can put some actual work into this VERY broken system. Thank you.

      Have you tried to make an appeal for it? It really is very stupid since the video is from Riot and not Netflix. Just because a snippet of it was in that Geeked Week thing. Never heard other reactors had this happened before. That autoclaim system gave you bad rng here :C

      Yes - I disputed immediately and it got released i think 2 days after the upload iirc. Part 2 was ok from the get go - so weird. Hoping it's all good from here on out!

    btw, Arnaud is the model for the guy being kicked pant-less out of the brothel in ep1 and all 3 directors (Jérome, Pascal and Arnaud) are also seen on the back of the blimp in ep4
    about Fortiche expension, well, let's just say it could work because France does have a few animation schools that "gift" the world of animation with many talented peoples each years... the students of the most prominent schools are often all hired even before they finish they last year. Before, they were going to Disney, Pixar, Dreamwork and many small studios and in this case, Fortiche had the means to recruit many around an ambitious project. French studios are often "culprits" of releasing "one hit wonders" then flopping due to financial problems (because the French market isn't big enough to sustain them on the long run, through thanks to the Netflix and the like that make the English speaking audience more accepting to watch non English stuff, it may be changing)

    As good as this first episode is... they just get better like the show "Arcane" does. They will touch on every little bit of how the show was made. You are going to learn a lot. Enjoy.

    Glad you agree that while it's "just" a documentary it's as good as Arcane itself :D Christian is great. He is german and hangs out in the biggest german tw lol stream from time to time and also did a 60mins interview with a german ex-esports caster and now streamer when the Ruination book released. He rly is just "what u all wanna see, we try our best to make it real if u give us the time cuz the whole team wants to see the finished product as much as you do" and they also love watching reactions to any of their content (as you'll see in a later BTR episode) so ... sorry YT is being an a** about it :< Can't wait for the next episode.

    Beck and Merril Founded Riot games. In 2011 Tencent, a chinese company that owns a lot of stuff, acquired part of the company and in 2015 they acquired the rest. In 2017 Beck and Merril handed the day-to-day and overall management to Nicolo and are now the "chairmen" of Riot. When they anounced this they said they were returning their focus to developing games
    Also in 2022 they invested in Fortiche, so now they have some higher ups on Fortiche's board of directors.
    And finally they also hired executives from Netflix, Paramount and HBO Max to head development of film, TV, and music endeavors built around the company's intellectual property. Including live action!
    The only thing I liked from the Warcraft movie was the CGI. The orcs looked just as good as in their cinematics. But whenever a human was on screen with them, it felt off.
    If you got emotional from this first part, prepare yourself, because this is only the start of Christian and Alex's journey

    RIOT is owned by a Chinese company but that company lets RIOT pretty much do whatever they want, since RIOT is pretty much a money printing press.

      Yeah Tencent owns them, but Tencent kind of owns half of the gaming market that has any kind of gaming in China. They pretty much give Riot full creative freedom though, although from what I've heard they do influence the champion development cycle a bit. As has been proven in a bunch of youtube videos on the subject.

      @kenshiku Рік тому

      Except they don't let Riot do whatever they want. Just look at LOL Wild Rift, it's all censored trash, and a lot of fanservice.

    • @lockekappa500
      @lockekappa500 Рік тому

      @@kenshiku Yeah you're right, China just buys out anything they want to censor for their audience.

      @@kenshiku Just try to read what you wrote to realize how stupid you are.
      You said they censor stuff but then they have fanservice? Which one is it my guy?
      Wild Rift is completely fine, they don't censor anything. It's widely known that Tencent doesn't have any say in what Riot does except for some stuff that are done only for China and not for the other regions.

    Most production part i think is on part 2 to 5... So mostly part 1 was about fighting for arcane to be realized... :3 glad they gave them a chance

    Inspirational. The best word to describe Bridging the Rift. If this series tells us anything, its that passion and talent will ALWAYS rise to the top if the work ethic is there.

    That Vi vs Jayce Fight is on UA-cam currently.
    I don’t know about the Scene where Vi is venting about Powder.

    2:10 That's a clip from the first episode of Arcane, when they get back from the "disaster" and go down to the lanes via the elevator, Vi looks at Power (35:28 has the rest of this). S210 P050 has nothing to do with it being season 2 lol.
