Fixing a Mercedes parts car before tearing it apart

Today I will be getting a 1983 Mercedes 300D with the OM617 Turbo Diesel minimally back to operating condition before tearing it apart as a parts donor. Driving it around is a great way to test out and prove the condition of many parts before taking the time to swap them into other cars.

Sub’d for the om617 willys swap. I have the same engine that I’m planning on putting in my Gen 1 SAS S10. Looking forward to it!
