One of the pneumatic mini hacksaws with their thinner blades can come in handy wit some of the cutting you're having to do. After many years of not having or knowing of them I've used mine several times now🙂
I can't believe the bush league repairs people will make on a prestige automobile like your Shelby. I appreciate your goal of preserving what you have a making the needed repairs properly. I look forward to the next video!🤨 Let's see what else you find - have you looked in the cowl and floors yet?
Man o' Man! There are quite a few late model Shelby Mustangs out there. Are you sure want to rehab this basket case? I mean I admire your fortitude but the challenge seems immense.
Nope, its far from original and definitely been repainted and won't be repaint now. Just fixing and preserving what's there and making a true driver out of it. Not even doing a new top. Thanks for watching
That car is a total loss. I wouldn’t waste any money on it. If you like, I’ll come pick it up so you don’t have to deal with it. 😉 In all seriousness, you made the right call to save the fender. The lower half is a breeze to fix and patch in. Once you get the metal work done, she will be good and solid! Great work.
LOL...sending address for pick up😆 The idea with this car is to preserve as much of it as possible and slow and stop further deterioration. Thanks for watching!!

Enjoyed the video! 👌
Glad you enjoyed!
You got your work cut out for you😳
Lots of Sawzall work. 😉
Never saw a fender 'repair' like that one. I'll have to remember that. 😅 You can't say this project isn't interesting!
It's a beaut...lol

Ok, I just watched the first video - yikes, pretty typical Mustang - so, have you checked the cowl yet? Here's hoping....
The floors are toast. That was the main reason it came to me but gotta repair all the little stuff too.

Not a problem...stay tuned...thanks for watching
Pretty sure what's currently on the car is a reshoot anyway. It doesn't look original to me.
