Birgi would be an auto-include,no? Especially when you are triggering her off casting spells, which is in line with Birgi's trigger ie pay the mana for her trigger with Birgi mana
i already built the deck and i like it a lot. The list is kind of an mix of Blue Farm and Niv Mizzet. You use Barrin Dockside as an additional combo (Marchesa is an outlet for this) which is a pure creature combo. Add some Birgi like effects which really play into her ability. Winrate of 24% is my goal
i really like playing reanimator with hullbreaker and tyrant since when you make the infinite mana you can target opponent stuff and you know draw 10 or something cards
If im correct, flusterstorm will be a massive card draw spell. Depends on how the rulings for crimes goes. If im correct, you could pay 1 storm count times and blow through your deck since they are all seperate copeos of the spell, not one spell targetting a lot of things
@@Spyzer_64 it doesn't say "whenever you cast a spell that targets" just that targetting is a crime. I'll have to wait and see when the final rulings come out. My line of thinking with this is that phimage still dies when it becomes the target of a copy, so same logic applies to committing crimes?
I asked in a judge chat and that was what they said- I’m not a judge though and I don’t remember exactly what they said lol just that it didn’t work with storm
@@Spyzer_64 -Storm -_-is-_- an ability. The storm trigger puts a copy on the stack for which you must choose a target. If storm didn't work, then no versions of copying a spell should work, which seems unlikely.- EDIT: Nevermind, I think I figured out why. This is the wording "You commit a crime as you cast a spell, activate an ability, or put a triggered ability on the stack that targets..." Key being that you must cast a spell for the target to work. Abilities only go towards committing a crime if they are the thing that targets. Copies of spells put on the stack will not be considered a crime.
@Spyzer_64 after doing some digging, the official ruling (not reminder text) does specify casting the spell being needed to commit crimes. Storm copying stuff doesn't work since they are copied. Man this reminder text is not helpful lol
Can't wait to see you guys play with her on the channel. she looks strong by herself, marchesa sitting behind a rhystic study should be fun as hell. my guess is a 23% win rate
There is a cool interactiom between Marchase, disciple of the vault and treasures where you sac a treasure, Disciple of the vault triggers and commit a crime then you use the floating mana to pay for Marchesa trigger.
I wish Eater of the Dead didnt cost 5 mana to play. He is a creature who has the ability for 0 mana to activate in which you exile a target creature from a graveyard. In casual, he is great in the deck but I just cannot push myself into trying to add him to the Cedh version.
I love him. He is bit expensive so I am not sure he is will work that well. I think he is good but that 5 mana is a bit much. In the end it is a lot of set up to get his value going. He should work but I think he will struggle.
While I do like the idea of this commander. This build looks like "Fat Grixis" so Tevesh/Kraum or Sauron. I don't think marchesa does the midrange game plan better then either of these. She kinda reads and brews like a controlling Kess variant without the combo potential.
hmmm grixis Nymris seems nice, adding red in exchange for having to pay some extra mana seems pretty nice

Yeah that would really help. With that you can kinda make this into a form of storm commander I guess.
Both it and Storm Kiln
And the last released Urabrask

I asked a judge about this and sadly it only works on casting/abilites- not storm triggers

Fun fact she also can draw the deck with dockside count of 6+ with Barrin Master wizard
oh yeah that is true!
This is one I want to build for sure from this set
Jeska’s Will will have crazy value with Marchesa
Can't wait to see you guys play with her on the channel. she looks strong by herself, marchesa sitting behind a rhystic study should be fun as hell. my guess is a 23% win rate
That is a good guess. I I think she might be a commander I might play more then once.
There is a cool interactiom between Marchase, disciple of the vault and treasures where you sac a treasure, Disciple of the vault triggers and commit a crime then you use the floating mana to pay for Marchesa trigger.
Yes! That works. I guess you could build some storm version of here actully with that kind of style.

Mons what do you think about the new Gonti?

He should work but I think he will struggle.
Can you please do a deck tech of Vihaan goldwaker
Saddly he is not that good. As this channel is focsed on the stronger options I find it hard to say something about him.
what about spellskite?
Yeah that works .... haha DAMN!

I'd build her similar to Talion
Yeah. Me to I think but add better combos thanks to red.
Very high winrate for just good commander. I think 20-22
22.5%
