That mnemonic top deck felt like the last piece of exodia

Barrin+Dockside+Birgi + treasure count of 5 also draws the deck as well!! Delney+Dockside+Barrin is also sick lol. Glad to see Marchesa get there!!
Oof Pontus, you tried to go off a bit too early. You could have waited until he activated glinthorn.

I’ve done this too, I feel like we as cedh players shortcut combos so often we forget there’s interaction points lol. Especially when we can win at instant speed.
okay so this wouldve been to late, unless i missed something i did not have the mana for an instant speed line so winning on top wasnt an option for me. Likewise i had no 0 mana removal so killing its wasnt an option. So my thinking was that this was my only window to go off + counter it. I was unhappy that i was first in prio and thought about sandbagging harder but i felt my oponents were to low on recources for me to take that gamble.
But this was my first time on the deck so feel free to point out if i misssed something :)
Hey nice seeing a Shanid deck out and about! I've been rocking the version similar to what you did as an overview a while back. Very cool to see it a more up to date version.
Didn’t pay for marchesa triggers.
Pretty sure he was keeping track of paying Marchesa triggers with Birgi mana, because he didn’t always announce Birgi and instead just said he was doing the Marchesa activation. (Even when he has colorless to use instead of red mana lol)
@@wanderingaming5805 16:40 he is tapped out and uses his only one red mana to cast pyroblast then resolves two marchesa triggers with only one red floating (which he declares he doesn’t use) then plays a land that he shouldn’t have in hand and uses the red floating to cast dockside.
@@lucasc9142Ye seems like you’re right. At some point I still think he missed a couple Birgi triggers though that might have made it work, but either way it was too messy for my liking.
That last turn was bananas.
All I can say is wow and I'm so glad I watched this game.
Drannith coming down the turn after meme betrayal was just too little too late, awesome interactive game!
Can you use Kitten to flicker the Mana Crypt? I thought that was an opponent's Crypt from Mnemonic Betrayal, and Kitten returns the permanent under its owner's control.
Great catch for a very complicated turn. I think it was better for him to probably flicker dockside anyways, but still a pretty big mistake. Would be easier to avoid in paper though.

What is the application that is being used to play?
Anyone else find Pontus' mic to always be at much lower volume than the other players?
I don't really play cEDH much but was it a misplay to have phimage enter as a copy of kitten instead of birgi? supposedly that would have been infinite mana given that barrin+dockside requires 6 mana per dockside to go positive which a second brigi would have produced given that the dockside count was already at 4. I may be missing another aspect of it but that feels like a smoother line.
I think Mons forgot he had Delney, either that or he had nothing else to Tutor with Imperial Recruiter

Yeah, but I don’t think I have ever seen that guy take his own list.
He should’ve drawn from the wisp even with no targets because it’s a separate effect
@@leoojeda322if you counter the cerulean wisp while Stella’s copy effect is on the stack like he explained, they both fizzle. Stella needs the target to still be there on resolution of her effect.
Why did mons run out mana crypt there?
1:56 7 cards in hand and library says 91 so basically 1 card is missing in the deck

i valued having access to a spell that easily helped me get to 3 spells whenever and the fact that fierce was already revealed makes me want to just throw it out but i think this would've been more correct yeah
