What a great tribute to a Giant band in rock music........part of the music that changed an entire generation ! A sound that will go on forever .....................
I enjoyed this new to me video very much. As a former symphony member, I know it is a thrill to play in a large group. Bravo to the conductor jumping around to lead them. ☮💙🎶
Really cool video guys. Please, u need to do "Learn to Fly - Foo Fighters Rockin'1000", it's and amazing tribute to a great song!. It's good as this one. The idea of bringing together 1000 musicians and playing with passion shows how incredible and moving music can be. All that energy feels overwhelming!.
From Wikipedia: The Rockin'1000 is a musical project, originally created in Cesena (FC), Italy. Over a thousand musicians play and sing simultaneously at their concerts, with setlists composed mainly from well known rock music from different decades. The group was originally assembled in July 2015 as a way to ask the Foo Fighters to visit the town of Cesena, Italy.[1][2] Originally organized in a crowdfunding effort by Fabio Zaffagnini, the Rockin'1000 have made several subsequent appearances, and have been dubbed the "biggest band in the world".[3][4] Their initial performance in 2015 was made under the direction of Marco Sabiu.[5] I thought the inspiration for the project was interesting. I hope the got their concert.
Classic! Iconic! Now if Andrei and Dominika would just don their biker helmets and hop on their Harley and head down the highway with this blaring in their headphones, THEN you get the vibe of this song.!
What is the story on your blouse? Very cool look. This musical arrangement reminded me of what futurist Alvin Toffler once said about large orchestras having a democratizing effect on what would only otherwise be enjoyed in a private chamber. Back before microphones and amplification. This one needed no amplification either. Excited to know that this sort of thing exists. Thanks for opening my ears. Rock on!
You should watch Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit by this same group. It would give Andre his chance to join in and jump around with the rest of the group!
Wow have not seen this before. What a great cover of a great classic. Thanks so much guys!❤
