I didnt even notice there was DLC for such a mediocre game, figures there would be eventually but i'm not even interested in playing this shit game agian
***** I know right lets hope Fallout 5 turns the series into a decent game again. If the gameplay gets dumbed down any further so retards can play it(and find it fun) it will be a sad day in gaming.(for a once great company) Same goes for the Elder Scrolls 6 Skyrim was so noob friendly and easy it hurts to like RPG's.
Reon Thornton Fallout 4 is dumbed down super hard(from its predecessors) the part about Skyrim is a new sentence perhaps you should read the post again. Skyrim i agree is just as complex as any of the other Elder Scrolls but its fucking easy. Ah I see I didn't word my post as great as I could have all i'm really hoping for is some challenge in the next games and sadly fallout is turning into an FPS
@@harperthegoblin Idk man. They get close, they do little damage to me. And I bought a ton of rad medicine for a lot of reasons. By the time the stronger ones show up, I usually have one of a kind weapons by then. I don't think I ever once died to them.
Ace Operator: 25% damage bonus for suppressed weapons, 10% bonus on stealth while in shadows. Chosen Disciple: melee kills restore 25% of AP. Pack Alpha: 25% bonus on melee and unarmed damage, 25% bonus to standard and energy damage resistance.
Plus bobble head if you get it with already 10 perception making it base 13 with equipment that can be a 17 plus the night person taking it to 19 then add some chems and exceed 20
This makes a lot more sense to me now actually, I was thinking it would have been better to put points into perception instead of VANS but like you said a VATS build would benefit loads from 13 perception
well, yes... up to max of 10 stat, but this (just like a bobblehead) will let you go over 10, which you can't do directly with perk points. Such is why I got all my stats to 10 before picking up their respective bobbleheads, putting all my stats at 11 (before other bonuses), or 13 perception with the DLC. If, however, you have, say, 6 perception, get the bobblehead to get to 7, then get this perk to get to 9, you can only then put one perk into perception to get to 10, then you're stuck with no way to get higher.
I always felt Ghoulish is underrated. I won't deny its usefulness is situational, but the health regeneration you get from radiation is actually pretty handy, especially if you have a place to bathe in radiation.
I love the new hip fire perk since I never really use iron sights for shotguns. It is after all an "Oh shit!!" gun and perfect for checking out buildings or any cramped spaces where you can have something get close quick.
a dogmeat build is basically any build with the lone wanderer and attack dog perks maxed out, everything else is optional, though i guess you could make some interresting variants to it but those basically all come down to different playstyles.
any perk that adds more action points when using the tinker tom special is so worth it since the first shot in vats out of combat does double damage but costs twice as much so the first shot on a hardass raider then popping as many raiders before they clock you is a must.
Bethesda perks in general just all seem disappoining to me, in large part because instead of making unique weird perks like Old World Gourmet, which gives more healing to pre-war foods and alcohols, or Stay Back!, which knocks down enemies when hit with a crit when using the shotgun, and instead most of the perks boil down to damage increase, umlock crafting recipes, more health points, more action points, more blank. Some of these are fine, but it really feels, to me at least, like there isn't much creativity in these perks. Hell, my favorite perk is the power armor one where you can run people down, which was in Fallout 4, but there aren't enough of these more unique perks that influence the way you interact with enemies in combat, or conversation.
I loved the Melee perk in New Vegas where your Melee and unarmed attacks have a chance of knocking enemies down and send them flying.. it helped out so much with deathclaw when there where an actually threat compared to FO4's deathclaws that are just wimpy jokes..
Theres tons of great perks dude. To many people just look at this game with the mind set new vegas is the best, and im not giving fallout 4 a chance. How is giving more healing power unique? 4 has a perk where it takes the rads out of food. And the sniper perk in fallout 4 gives you a good chance to knock enemies down with scoped rifles. And there's plenty of other unique and awesome perks in 4. But you people are mostly convinced this game isnt good or as good as new vegas. When in my opinion thats not true. New vegas is ass compared to 4. And some of the things you guys complain about are just ridiculous. Like the comment you made about 4 not having unique perks. When it definitely does. Theres so many fun a unique ways to play in 4. You have to actually play it though and give it a chance.
+MEME STAR lol play the game man. Theres definitely plenty of perks on fallout 4 that will make you change the way you play. Not just in the skill tree. But perks from comsumables, weapons, and armor.
pryt86 I mentioned that there are perks in 4 that are good, my personal favorite being the one where you knock people down while running in power armour. This isn't about comparing Fallout 4 to New Vegas, its about ways to improve Fallout 4. In general. Chill bruh.
DanielYellsAtPeople i know I wasn't directing everything at you man. I never called you out personally on anything. But only the comment saying theres not alot of unique perks in 4. Cause there definitely is, and the ones you listed in new vegas. Aren't even that unique. I was directing the rest at the other comments and blind haters in general.
Playing with a build around Steady Aim does do wonders for the combat pace of the game that's for sure. If you're using a mouse and you've had plenty of practice with games like Counter-Strike or Overwatch you can perform actions like prefiring in a similar fashion to those with a reliable chance to hit. Even just bunnyhopping.
Also dogmeat was originally not going to be a companion like the others but a partner that can travel with you. So you would be able to have dogmeat and someone else, but the developers changed it pre release. Kind of like in New Vegas were you could have a human companion and then a dog/robot companion.
In addition to Stealth, the crafting perks that allow me to create the best weapons and armor and the perks that allow be to deal the most effective critical damage with said weapons, I always travel with Dogmeat. He's the best follower in vanilla Fallout 4 hands down. So, Attack Dog is a natural next perk once I solidify my character. My dog gets the best ballistic armor, stealth collar, blue eyes, treats, a leash to call him, animations to pet him, head and eye protection, multiple legendary buffs and less whining. It took 6 Dogmeat specific mods and benefits from my armor mods but my Dogmeat is perfect. With his Stealth Collar and my Stealth Glasses, they never see us coming. The Attack Dog perk allows Meat to hold enemies in place for easy sniping. That includes enemies who are also employing stealth fields. Just aim a few inches in front of Meat's growling face and one more dead bad guy.
Since when does everyone hate "dece"? That's all I see in this comment section, and honestly it isn't even a bad abbreviation, and it didn't seem forced so I don't see the cringe. They just like using it
Keep in mind that you can use vans to boost your perception to a bass of 13 or 14 after getting the perception bobble head and already having 10 perception and to get 14 you just need to use a chem to reduce your perception less than 10 and use the special book to raise it
I only recently got the Seasons Pass (Black Friday, YES) and with it all the DLCs (besides Automatron, i already had that). This vid is very valuable for me, thanks for the tips about those faction perks.
welcome to the party! hope you have fun. I had the season pass from the get go, but I only just recently bothered to go do nuka world with my newest playthrough when I found out that if you do it BEFORE meeting preston and then wipe out the raiders, he wont spazz out.
You can now, legit no exploits or gear bonuses, get 13 perception. Start the game with 10, Get the perception bobblehead and get V.A.N.S 2. Note, I don't mean the shoe brand.
Actually, with Fury I think it was, you can lower perception by 1 at the start if you have 10 perception then use the special book on perception then when it wears off you'll have 11 perception. Then get the respective bobblehead to make it 12 and get V.A.N.S rank 2 and that'll make it 14 all the time without any gear to boost it. With night person you get +3 Perception and +3 Intelligence between 6 pm and 6 am. So you can have a permanent 14 perception and after 6 pm you'd have 17 Perception.
Drakus Darkwind Thanks. I just found a way of getting 12 intelligence as well. If you have 10 intelligence, drink dirty wastelander before using the special book and ideally before you level up, you can use it on intelligence and maybe put a perk point into intelligence and when the alcohol wears off, it should become 12 intelligence and then just find the bobblehead to make it 13. With night person you can get that to 16 intelligence between 6pm and 6am. Or if you don't have daytripper or if it doesn't work, just do what I said and you should be able to get a maximum of 15 intelligence at night.
+Kirigaya Kazuto Awesome. I wonder if it works with addictions in survival mode too. Like jet addiction gives -1 agility. Hmm... i wonder what's the most important stat you want to have above 11. :P
I used ghoulish when doing a Child of Atom build. I get all radiation related perks as I work through quests to make it seem like I am slowly gaining Atoms favour.
The DLC was worth it. Added perks completely worthless to me. MEH. Doesn't change my view on NW. Would have been nice to have something cool but here we are. Nice vid. Thanks for the overview.
I think the only one I'll make use of is the VANS one for +2 Perception, since I got my character up to 10 in all stats, then got the books to put him at 11 in all, and this will (hopefully) bump Perception up to 13, which will just be silly.
+mdavies97131 nice, if you also take enough Chems to get 21 endurance, you'll get infinite sprint ability (ie you can sprint forever) bit off topic, but something I found helpful
The one really good point I will say for Nuka World is the Handmade Rifle. Highest base damage of all the Automatic rifles to my experience, ignoring legendary effects, with very low recoil on Automatic. It's clearly designed to be in Automatic mode, as the kick quickly rises with the Semi Auto receivers. Just put a sight on it, though, the iron sights are awful. Bethesda did a poor job with them or fight in 3rd person.
Hey fudgemuppet i really enjoyed the paladin build i am a big supporter of the BOS but in the build i didn't really like the choice of the perk "rooted" what might be a good substitute for "rooted" i use all t60 power armor with the 3 t60 tesla pieces
Any perk that relies on having a companion is a huge waste and even a hindrance. I am tired of having companions always blocking doorways. I have come to the conclusion the developers have deliberately programed all friendly AI to always hang around doorways.
I follow the use 'em and loose 'em strategy. When I get maximum affinity, I send them away. Piper is good for early game. The 2× XP for finding new locations and convincing people helps to level up. Also it's fairly easy to get, be nice and pick locks, no special quests involved. But they do get on my nerves. Constantly blowing cover while trying to sneak. Cait and Maccready aren't great for stealth, but better than the others. They also seem to stick closer. The others seem to want to wander, and are constantly instigating unnecessary fights.
Fireblaze's mobile account it definitely doesnt take forever. Maybe when you reach in the level 80s or higher. But the first 70 levels or so you can level pretty quick. Im level 89 at the moment and can still level up at a decent rate.
If I’m not wrong. If u have 10 perception and u drink some drugged water your perception goes down to 9 then u use the special book and put it into perception. That makes your perception go up to 11 the with the bobble head and vans 2 you end up with 14 perception with no gear
My character wears the Recon Marine Left Arm (temp slow time at 20%) and Atom's Bulwark (Dam & EN resist increase with rads, which is 50 each at 78% rads) has Ghoulish III and absolutely NO need for Ghoulish IV, in fact this (slowly healing) would break the ability to stay at 78% rads therefore hurting my Dam and EN armor rating as well as my ability to manually jump under 20% health with a shot of Firebelly (30 damage to self + increased Dam the lower your health) to trigger the slow time at will. For those interested in the rest of my outfit making this character (almost) the fastest in the game: Black Ops Right Shinguard, Destroyer's Left Leg, Recon Marine Right Arm (all +10% movement speed), Inquisitor's Cowl (increase INT with rads, +4 at 78% rads) and +2 AG Military Fatigues (Ballistic Weave)
I hate Dogmeat. He's rather weak, keeps blocking my way (especially in small areas) and LOVES to walk right in front of me when I'm about to loot any corpse. So no thanks you mangy mutt. I like dogs IRL, but Dogmeat is a pain in the ass in-game, despite the perks.
@@dewchaos1175 game design , i mean don t ask me ask bethesda :D , i had to check the game wiki to know if i can get some1 else other than dogmeat for lone wanderer to work
@@hhhhbkdx55555 it's sucks at it used to work on my old playthrough then all of a sudden I load up and I'm over encumbered..I guess it's for balance but they should make it like if your automation has over this amount of armor/health or has storage armor it's a companion, if not they don't count as a companion
hip fire for 10mm explosive pistol. even before the perk way better than 4 different explosive rifles i have, i mean the radium one was pretty nice but full free range of motion but still able to point it at distant windows casually snipering without even needing to line up the shot or even keep looking after a short burst, just wave the bastard toward the next thing coming at you, enemies are kind enough crunching and spinging sounding notifcations direct to thee back of your headphones
Ik this video is old bus some fixes to make some of these very niche perks more interesting and viable. Like ghoulish can make you immune to rads or lone wanderer up to 20% so damage is actually halved, or the vats perk would give more vats range and accuracy and quick HANDS also makes it so you can throw grenades faster so something like that. Stuff like that would be cool
Is it possible to get all three of the Raider Gang perks? Or is it not possible to treat all three gangs equally? Does doing the radiant quests help at all?
Sadly due to the main quest, you can only choose two, since the other one will evidently betray you for giving them less territory than the rest of gangs.
People saying that New Vegas was better, WTF. I have spend countless hours on multiple playthroughs on 3, NV, and 4. The only thing that was better about NV was the immense dialogue options and various speech checks from skills not related to speech. Like for example there was a few speech checks that required explosives or guns skill, etc. Other than that, everything else is vastly improved. All perks have ranks now, where only a few had them before. I find that despite that fact that skill numbers have gone away, and the leveling process streamlined, I'm finding that there are far, far more options and diversity in how you can play. And also, the balance of the perks is improved. Sure, some perks are still (mostly) useless or not worth it, but I remember distinctly that in both 3 and NV it seemed like the vast majority of perks were worthless, whereas now it seems like it's roughly half decent- half crap (which is still too much crap, but better. Now combine that with the fact that that weapon and armor customization greatly diversifies even further how one can play the game, legendary items really add a lot to the game with unique effects. Many people, including myself at times, will like to shit on a sequel because it lacks features A B and C, and without taking the entire game as a whole. I will be the first to admit that there are things that have been dumbed down in this game, but what fallout 4 added to the table far, FAR outweighs any of that and more than makes up for it. Play on survival mode (which is how I play), suddenly there is a genuine NEED to build settlements and water purifiers and what not. I was setting up little cache spots with supplies, ammo, even spare guns. The carry weight restriction forces you to play this way. You just can't haul all your shit with you in this mode. This element of the game didn't exist in previous games. New Vegas did have hardcore mode, which is like survival, but you could still fast travel and there wasn't such a massive carry weight restriction, so no need to set up caches, or safe places. That's an entirely different element to the game than before, and adds another layer of immersion, resource management, and complexity. So please, all you hates, please try to take a step back and appreciate all that this game has to offer that previous games DIDN'T. It's nostalgia, nothing more
just saying this because it's true. everyone have theyre own oppinion. i liked fallout NV a LOT. and same with fallout 3 and 4. but in truth there is no *best game* in a series of games. each to theyre own. ;)
I just killed a Legendary Deathclaw in the parking lot behind Galactic Zone. I shot three criticals to its leg before it transformed and it showed a bone pop out of its leg. This has to have been added as well. I'm on Xbox One but I have no mods installed on my character at all. Someone please correct me if i'm wrong as I've never seen this before.
+Mental Carnage they said they were going to build a tad man. I heard that but I was saying that they could make a build where the sole survivor was feral and attacked people randomly. I know that this is similar to what they said but I hoped that they would make it this way.
If this game made you sad.... then the next Elder Scroll will most definitely disappoint you. No questions about it. Why??? Because if you weren't satisfied with this game at all... then nothing will ever satisfy you ever again. Dont worry. Your not alone. Majority of the Internet is afflicted with this shitty disease. It was detailed in a South Park episode years ago.
what having expectations the eldar scrolls and fallout games have been going down hill since morrow wind with the exception of new vegas. with each successive title having less content then the predecessor.
Just because you liked karma systems more than settlements does not make the game trash. If they kept it just like every other Fallout game everyone would be complaining that there was no innovation.
Is perception gained from Vans 2 an actual perception gain that counts as perk requirements or a temporary effect like solar powered that it doesnt count as perk requirements?
check sanctuary hills all three dog houses. they are scattered behind buildings, surrounded by white fence. after you find him destroy two of the houses and put the third somewhere visible as dogmeat always goes in them when you send him to the settlement. for other settlements build a doghouse somewhere if you dont use sanctuary hills often
To all the people who are still hating on this game..... Have fun not being satisfied with anything ever again. EVER. Nothing will ever be good enough for YOU PEOPLE. You'll convince yourself that whatever your looking at is complete shit because it doesn't have A B or C. Taking something for what it's worth? Appreciating things for what they are? or what what they did? "FUCKKKK THATTTTTT! I can complain about things.. SO I WILL. FOREVERRRRRR."
ROLEPLAYING QUESTION: do you take over settlements in the original map as raiders or just settlementments in the nukaworld map? And can you please do a specific roleplay video about small details in the dlc that could change everything about my roleplay playthrough, change/add story elements or if i should avoid nukaworld on my "paragon" characters?
I love fallout 4 to death I really do think Bethesda could do so much more with it or could have done so much more with it and I just hope with fall out five if it ever happens that they just do more
Steady aim is a good perk for Snipers. I use a maxed out, .45 semi-auto Overseer's Guardian and find i cant hit anything whilst aiming if its two feet away from me. The only way is to stop aiming and, if im not aiming, im hip-firing. If i need to hip-fire, theres a problem, most likely being charged by ghouls or teleporting radscorpians. Two-shot weapons are also harder to control naturally. Hip-firing make it hard to hit anything anyway so you cant even hit a barn door. The damage boost is nice too, if somethings in my face, i need it dead, quickly.
Which 2 gang perks do you guys recommend I'm lv 91 and have all the gun damage perks and am currently investing into adding melee so at the end of this o should be a jack of all trades character I am currently on survival difficulty and I am enjoying the Splattercannon and Throatslicer a lot I am using the new quantum power armor for the massive AP regen so I feel like the disciple perk is a bit of a waste
Does V.A.N.S. 2 allow you to have 12 perception total? Cause if it doesn't, then I don't see why not leveling up actual perception with those 2 points...
I’ve got a base working on second one of just chem stations it produces 1 every day and I have 60 for now hold a max of 15? And I’ll refine it into other chems mostly buffjet and psychojet but it’s a free 2 levels every 15 days also like 20k trade able caps worth of chems
MacCready plus the new awareness..that would make it 100% headshots in Vats, correct? Since I think (Haven't played for awhile) his perk makes it to 95%
I'll be honest, I have been GRINDING through Nuka world. I recently bought goty edition and played the story line until the far harbor missions opened up. Playing through that storyline I quickly leveled up to level 18 when I finished. At that point I instantly crossed the commonwealth and triggered the Nuka world missions. *spoiler alert* The gauntlet was quiet easy using vim power armor and atoms vengeance (I think it's called that) and the beginning missions were pretty basic as well. Where I really ran into trouble was when I had to clear the outlying parks. The wild West park was by far the easiest using my current melee build but I had to change combat styles for vault tech among the stars and nuka galaxy because of the insane amounts of laser terrents. The kiddie kingdom wasn't too horrible because playing through far harbor I also had a rad build and could make quick work of the ghouls there. I haven't cleared the bottling company yet, I plan to do that today. I was just wondering if I am assigning teams correctly. So far I have disciples at the space area and kiddie kingdom, operators at the wild west, and the pack in the safari zone. I plan to put the operators in the bottling company as well but it will match them with the disciples and leave the pack with just one park so idk.
Post level 150 and higher, and I live in VATS. An extra ten action points? I would have taken it if they offered a single action point. My perception is already ten like my other base stats though so the second VANS perk still a bit useless. Unless having a base attribute be higher than ten is better than just ten? This was never the case in the old games, it just capped it.
Have a base stat higher then ten only truly pays off for Melee characters and people that go High endurance. it would be cool if we had combo perks that require 10 in Two different stats for us to be able to get
hey, you think my level 80 guy will do well in this DLC? he is pretty OP but idk. kinda think i wanna do this DLC with just 10mm pistol and weapons from this dlc.
Yeah it should be fine I loaded up my old lvl 312 character (which I named Bob The Builder lol) and only let him use a pipe pistol, and I set it on very hard (bcuz my survival is glitched atm) and i didnt have any problems,
REALLY Late to the party, I know... Lone Wanderer: 30% damage resistence Attack Dog: 10% damage resistence = 40% Pack Alpha as below: 25% damage resistence = 65% base 1 Sentinel's Armor = 80% damage resistence flat (Really this would be good enough) Which means you only have to farm 1 more piece because you can buy the first = 95% damage resistence. You won't be at 100% (but you can easily go there; I just hate when they run) BUT nothing should be able to kill you. * On the plus side, you can also do this to make a fatman/bombs only build viable. It'd also help with Spray & Pray hijinks, or an explosive any kind of gun you want. Especially if you take Toughness/Adamantium Skeleton/Rooted/Solar Powered maxed & The HP regen mag at the Mayor's bunker. Wouldn't even need Ballistic Weave (but you can for shits and giggles) and you'd be stronger than even the XO power armor version. With no batteries required, and no breaking. Frankly, if you use daddy-o to drop your strength from 10 to 9 and then get the book in sanctuary, you'd have a base of 11 strength. Get the bobblehead for a natural 12. Find Grognak's costume to push to 14. (I forget if it counts as the chest piece, but if so you can probably farm at least one other piece on any given limb that increases your Endurance and Strength. So you'd end up with either the furious power fist (my go to) or the deathclaw gauntlet... with a base of at least 15 strength and all ranks of Iron Fist. While being effectively immortal. If Blitz actually worked consistently and hit the target every time, you'd be a God. It doesn't so I never take it... but you're still laughing, even if you go completely bare handed with this set up. It'll just take you as long to kill anything high leveled as it will for them to get you down by even a tenth of your HP. Only problem is Dogmeat ISN'T immortal, and will unnecessarily aggro everything. Plus side, I can save my stimpaks for the Doggo. (He's the goodest boy... but I wish he was a husky, without mods) I hate Preston unequivocally, and I always avoid everything to do with the Minutemen just because of the incessant "another settlement needs your help" BS, but I do think his perk's worthwhile. I'm not big on power armor because they turned it into a glorified car that needs batteries and can freaking BREAK, and the way they treat Danse in the end is bullshit... but his perk's also pretty useful. It sucks that Hancock's perk is basically useless, as is Cait's and I would've figured Strong would just be a damage increase without the drawback of being almost dead. I hate nerd rage for the same reason.
Love the added Steady Aim. Has proven useful in a few situations. The Awareness is nice. Any increase in accuracy in VATS I appreciate. Ghoulish 4 Was worth it for me. Anything that helps me heal, saving my stimpacks and stuff I like. The Dogmeat one... I almost never use Dogmeat Yeah... They should have just replaced the path thing with the +2 Perception lol The 10 more AP from Quick Hands 3 might prove useful to me when I need that 5th shot with my chosen sniper rifle. Mysterious Stranger 4 has yet to prove to be useful for me... I shall let you know if it does. Ace Operator could prove useful to me. I like to sneak around a lot with silent weapons. Pack Alpha would be good primarily for the increased damage resistance for me. Only a couple times have I had the need to melee. Chosen Disciple would be a waste for me. (Sadly, all three will probably be unavailable for me, cause I think I will just kill them all, and let Atom sort them out. I should be REALLY nice to Gage, I guess. The EXP boost when stacked with the x6 EXP mod... plus the Idiot Savant maxed... OH HELL YEAH! lol Plus, any more damage resistance is welcome. I might do a character going for the Wasteland Lord of War (sorry for the Nicholas Cage reference) later on down the line. All in all, I am not gonna complain lol. Good vid, guys!
EugeneDaVanquisher You get to use Lone Wanderer when you have Dogmeat with you? NICE! Now... if they would just increase Dogmeat's carrying capacity to match that of Strong's, then I could really run around stocking up on junk for my work station at Sanctuary lol
EugeneDaVanquisher Too bad that you cannot equip them bots with regular weapons like you can with the normal companions. Make a tank of a bot literally! (Modern Weapons: Tactical Edition mod's 88mm howitzer... as powerful as a mininuke lol)
One thing I was thinking of when i watched this is the new attack dog perk, do you really get 40% or do you get 30% and then 10% on that 70%? Do you understand what I mean? Cuz the way math works makes a difference. Say you take 100 without the perks, if they stack that would mean you take 60 dmg instead. But if it first is 30% less and then 10% on that it makes a difference, that would make you take first 70% dmg (70 dmg) and then 10% on that which makes it 63 dmg.
amazing video! very helpfull! A few Questions: As someone who has killed all raiders without getting a perk for it (thought a there'd be one -.-), is it possible to get all 3 raider perks? *minor spoiler* is it possible to get the perks without pissing off preston? do you loose prestons max affinity perk when he gets pissed off, just like you'd loose the raider-follower (forgot his name, offed him quite quickly as my morally good char).
I'm worried this will have the same problem as the perks added in Far Harbor where if you invested in a perk before the new rank came, picking the new rank cancels the perk's effects entirely. This happened to me with Action Boy. Fortunately, I noticed the difference and reloaded a previous save.
honestly, if I'm in a build for FO4 that uses both Big Guns and some other type of gun (whether general automatics or non-auto rifles) the Steady Aim damage bonus would be ESSENTIAL for me. with the combo of more accurate smaller arms and Big Guns, I'd almost EXCLUSIVELY be hip-firing with my Minigun or Gatling Laser. because, for more accurate firing, I'd just pull out a rifle. and the big weapon would be for unloading on a big mother hubbard, or a large group. and being able to effectively hip fire makes it better for my playstyle, given I have better movement speed while heavy gunning.
I always had ghoulish and solar powered maxed so i literally cannot die (in the day time of corse) for you asking wtf does the combo do with max solar powered in daytime it removes rads quick and heals you but not as fast as ghoulish, with both the healing its super fast and with solar powered removing all the radiation its pretty much the dream team of perks.
I took over the Abernathy farm which is right beside Red Rocket (my home base) and Preston hated the action, and hated me. No one else immediately cared.
alot of these criticisms come down to, "x can do that too", but if you want to minmax something you'll be taking all you can get. builds become op because they become specialized, from investing in one means of combat more and more. with that in mind the slight boosts are much better, even if they don't benefit the usual op play-styles.
I had maxed out a couple of these perks when they were 3 tier, then this new tier offered the exact same perk I previously unlocked for me to waste my upgrade on 😐..and the mysterious stranger only seems to shows up in the background as I'm killing people 😑
Will helping the raiders ruin your relationship with the other factions and companions? Because killing X6 was heart breaking when I did the peaceful minutemen ending. So I don't want to kill all the raiders and loose Gage. Plus I like the pack leader....
Custom perk: Courier, 50% less head damage.
MaxEze truth is; the game was rigged from the start
Ain't that a kick in the head
Usarnavon
I only listen to that song in G major. TheForgery made me want to listen to all Fallout songs in G major, actually.
And head cannot be crippled will make it decent.
2nd Rank: Head cannot be crippled.
3rd rank: +2 Luck
I'll be honest, I didn't even notice they added new ranks to existing perks with the DLC.
I didnt even notice there was DLC for such a mediocre game, figures there would be eventually but i'm not even interested in playing this shit game agian
Great contribution. You really showed Bethesda in these comments.
Skyrim? Unless I'm missing something, it wasn't dumbed down in any way compared to Oblivion. Just fleshed out further.
Hip fire is a good way to save your ass from charging Ghouls
I never had trouble with gouls. Had more trouble with mole rats since they teleport
@@magicmanscott40k But when ghouls come up behind you or really close, you are almost guaranteed to die.
@@harperthegoblin Idk man. They get close, they do little damage to me. And I bought a ton of rad medicine for a lot of reasons. By the time the stronger ones show up, I usually have one of a kind weapons by then. I don't think I ever once died to them.

A tip: you can watch movies on kaldrostream. I've been using it for watching loads of movies lately.
We re-uploaded this because the audio was originally munted. Thanks for watching!!! :D
I am still waiting for the dlc to download I am really annoyed
I am still waiting for the dlc to download I am really annoyed
What new perks lol
Munted? lmao
+The Gaming Giraffe the past tense of munting lol
Ace Operator: 25% damage bonus for suppressed weapons, 10% bonus on stealth while in shadows.
Chosen Disciple: melee kills restore 25% of AP.
Pack Alpha: 25% bonus on melee and unarmed damage, 25% bonus to standard and energy damage resistance.
V.A.N.S. 2 is awesome when your perception is already at 10 & it brings you to 12... then you throw on your apparel ect.
Exactly x
Plus bobble head if you get it with already 10 perception making it base 13 with equipment that can be a 17 plus the night person taking it to 19 then add some chems and exceed 20
you use 2 perk point on vans to get +2 to perception couldn't you just put those into perception
If you have 10 Perception already it becomes 12, add the perception bobblehead to make it 13. It can be worth it for a VATS build.
It's a max of 10 on the stat ones i think
No
This makes a lot more sense to me now actually, I was thinking it would have been better to put points into perception instead of VANS but like you said a VATS build would benefit loads from 13 perception
well, yes... up to max of 10 stat, but this (just like a bobblehead) will let you go over 10, which you can't do directly with perk points.
VANS is my favourite perk, easily overpowered and is simply amazing.
I recommend this perk to anyone, so OP
troll
idk kek Obviously.. Jesus christ
IMA put allll my points in VANS.
vans is great. for one perk point to navigate more complicating buildings.
Yeah, i use vans and goulish for every build
I love the new hip fire perk since I never really use iron sights for shotguns. It is after all an "Oh shit!!" gun and perfect for checking out buildings or any cramped spaces where you can have something get close quick.
hey look there is actually a good side to working graveyard shift
agreed bro.
raider build 2.0?
or a build dedicated to dogmeat name as mans best friend build?
stupid suggestions my bad
+StealthSoldier V1 Not really, I thought someone was being a dick saying that to you to begin with, I think they are valid suggestions.
I liked them both lol
a dogmeat build is basically any build with the lone wanderer and attack dog perks maxed out, everything else is optional, though i guess you could make some interresting variants to it but those basically all come down to different playstyles.
Beastmaster sounds cooler, along with animal friend and wasteland whisperer, running around with a sniper, could be fun if you ask me.
any perk that adds more action points when using the tinker tom special is so worth it since the first shot in vats out of combat does double damage but costs twice as much so the first shot on a hardass raider then popping as many raiders before they clock you is a must.
Does Ghoulish work with Salvaged Assultron head gun?
Yes it does.
Yeah. It's really weird but looks quite fun.
That would make for a pretty cool build, I think.
I got a Nuka World ad lol
I'm pretty sure Fudgemuppet is the best FO4 channel ever in regards to Australia. When you live in the future, vids get posted first!
true
Lonevaultwanderer is pretty awesome too, he's definitely as good as these guys but he doesn't just do fallout/skyrim
+Rubix Rox *Best FO4 channel
That ShadyAlchemist true, just thought I would mention him since he did focus on FO4 when it came out and still covers it quite thoroughly
You forgot CamelWorks
@ 3:06 wait the LONE WANDERER perk still works with dogmeat
yup
I think that's a design feature because dogmeat is less of a companion than the others
The Galactic Wanderer plus the lone wanderer is always depicted with his dog
Also dogmeat was originally not going to be a companion like the others but a partner that can travel with you. So you would be able to have dogmeat and someone else, but the developers changed it pre release. Kind of like in New Vegas were you could have a human companion and then a dog/robot companion.
dog meat doesn't have a back story that unlocks a perk
"dece"? really? it's that much harder the say decent?
Haven't heard that crappy slang since the 1980's. They must have stolen it from their parents lol.
I cringed so hard.
I cried a little inside
Since when does everyone hate "dece"? That's all I see in this comment section, and honestly it isn't even a bad abbreviation, and it didn't seem forced so I don't see the cringe. They just like using it
+whalemanification you are joking
Keep in mind that you can use vans to boost your perception to a bass of 13 or 14 after getting the perception bobble head and already having 10 perception and to get 14 you just need to use a chem to reduce your perception less than 10 and use the special book to raise it
"it's not run and gun." Slash and Dash. done!
3:00 not the Lone Wanderer.
It is the sole survivor.
The Lone Wanderer was Fallout 3.
I really enjoy your vids. I use most of your builds.
+Christopher Robertson Thanks for the support :D
I second that
I blame you guys for me having over 700 hours into this game and about 15 different characters.
Don't blame your addiction on them!! only a loser(like me) have over 700 hours in a game..!!
+holyshaman Or one like me xD
You can use the special book as well combined with either solar powered or night person(not sure which one) plus all hats and glasses
Nice, have to try this out with Fury. Thanks.
+Kirigaya Kazuto
Awesome. I wonder if it works with addictions in survival mode too. Like jet addiction gives -1 agility. Hmm... i wonder what's the most important stat you want to have above 11. :P
Thumbs up because you listed all the perks in the description. *=)*
Are we trying to make "Deece" happen? It's not gonna happen.
+Johnny Kronaz mate we've being saying dece for years ;) its already happening
What you mean the tools have been saying it I have not once heard that slang but its so gay
Slow down, bud. Use some punctuation; I have no idea what you're trying to say.
Oh dear, how unfortunate. I really would like to have been on your side, but unfortunately it turns out you're a cretin. Please go away.
+Johnny Kronaz I wouldn't want you on my side because I dont like grammar Nazis over the internet pretty sad imo when you are like that
I used ghoulish when doing a Child of Atom build. I get all radiation related perks as I work through quests to make it seem like I am slowly gaining Atoms favour.
There are magazine perks in nuka world as well...
They keep talking about wasted perk points but your levels are limitless. So there are no wasted perk points.
The DLC was worth it. Added perks completely worthless to me. MEH. Doesn't change my view on NW. Would have been nice to have something cool but here we are. Nice vid. Thanks for the overview.
+LKNANML No worries mate, thanks for watching :D
Phillip Mulligan you thought those companions are bad? Go and make an automatron and make it a sentry
The others seem to want to wander, and are constantly instigating unnecessary fights.
could some of the new perk ranks that just add stuff like +2 perception or 10 more action points be good for stacking on top of other perks?
You say about wasting perk points but FO4 has no level cap so can you even waste a perk?
yeah, i waste points trying stuff alot.
Yeah but you need to prioritise better perks and get them first, like I'd only get vans if I could get nothing else and get that extra two per later
No you can't waste a perk in 4. There's no level cap just like you said.
+pryt86 but, it takes forever to get a level up so if you spend it on some buts it not very good your stuck with it.
That makes your perception go up to 11 the with the bobble head and vans 2 you end up with 14 perception with no gear
what about SCAV! ?
I like dogs IRL, but Dogmeat is a pain in the ass in-game, despite the perks.
honestly lone wanderer is just neat so if i am not gonna use dog meat , i am just gonna go without companions
He always walks directly in front of me when I'm scrapping stuff. I end up constantly sending him back to Sanctuary.
@@hhhhbkdx55555 but how come an Automatron that you build counts as a companion but dogmeat doesn't
I think Survival should have removed the quest marker, and VANS should've been the required substitute
sure only if they disabled the map and compass too
10+ AP is good for that last shot you couldn't quite get before in VATS. I grabbed and glad I did. It's helped a few times.
this is a very well done video, you get a thanks and a subscribe from me
+lavafoxx Thank you!!!!
"Steady aim 3" More like "Moar Stealth Damage 3"
It's nostalgia, nothing more
just saying this because it's true. everyone have theyre own oppinion. i liked fallout NV a LOT. and same with fallout 3 and 4. but in truth there is no *best game* in a series of games. each to theyre own. ;)
new vegas gives a better feel
Lauren Houck being honest I had no fun on NV I tried to but I couldn't, I understand why others love it but I just couldn't have fun
1337 I loves new Vegas but the world is just so empty it bothers me
Edit:I love NV way more now but I have taken a break as I hated dead money and Veronica's quest won't start even after all triggers
I'm level 322 so I really don't care what I chose
Really nice channel here guys! I had heard of you before, but I will be subscribing definitely. Thanks for the good info. Makes me excited to play. :)
Im early so maybe ill get a reply!
Love you FudgeMuppet
+FudgeMuppet if only they were still making dlcs for skyrim
+FudgeMuppet Hey guys, I'm 95% sure one of the patches makes it so Dogmeat DOES count as a companion as far as Lone Wanderer is concerned.
I don't think so
+omegagilgamesh ya I heard that to there is even a splash that says companion or dog for that perk if I remember correctly
Could you do a ghoul build with the ghoulish perk. You could role play that you are half feral and attack random people randomly.
You could do this imersivly.
They said that they where doing a rads man build so yeah
+Mental Carnage they said they were going to build a tad man. I heard that but I was saying that they could make a build where the sole survivor was feral and attacked people randomly. I know that this is similar to what they said but I hoped that they would make it this way.
this game made me sad they better not mess up the next elder
If this game made you sad.... then the next Elder Scroll will most definitely disappoint you. No questions about it.
Why??? Because if you weren't satisfied with this game at all... then nothing will ever satisfy you ever again. Dont worry. Your not alone. Majority of the Internet is afflicted with this shitty disease.
It was detailed in a South Park episode years ago.
what having expectations the eldar scrolls and fallout games have been going down hill since morrow wind with the exception of new vegas. with each successive title having less content then the predecessor.
+stephen gentry just because you aren't satisfied with one thing, doesn't mean that you are dissatisfied with everything.
+stephen gentry #your
Just because you liked karma systems more than settlements does not make the game trash. If they kept it just like every other Fallout game everyone would be complaining that there was no innovation.
Is perception gained from Vans 2 an actual perception gain that counts as perk requirements or a temporary effect like solar powered that it doesnt count as perk requirements?
i lost my dog help
check sanctuary hills all three dog houses. they are scattered behind buildings, surrounded by white fence. after you find him destroy two of the houses and put the third somewhere visible as dogmeat always goes in them when you send him to the settlement. for other settlements build a doghouse somewhere if you dont use sanctuary hills often
All of these perks are some that I have, except ghoulish and vans. I'm liking these new levels
And can you please do a specific roleplay video about small details in the dlc that could change everything about my roleplay playthrough, change/add story elements or if i should avoid nukaworld on my "paragon" characters?
good charcters, treat them like you would normal raiders, pew pew, kill em all.
as for settlements its the base game ones.
Fireblaze's mobile account That sounds pretty awesome, thanks
I mean +2 perception is +2 perception
Was looking for something like this. Thanks dude.
You guys are great and your character builds are really entertaining
i know these raider gangs are a lot more organized than the typical enemies but the perks are actually pretty stealthy
how does the damage resistance stack, because 40% from perks 10% from gabe, some from the raider perk, then armour.
Since I think (Haven't played for awhile) his perk makes it to 95%
"Killshot" was patched.
Nicely done guys, are we gonna see some weapon videos?
I'll be honest, I have been GRINDING through Nuka world. I recently bought goty edition and played the story line until the far harbor missions opened up. Playing through that storyline I quickly leveled up to level 18 when I finished. At that point I instantly crossed the commonwealth and triggered the Nuka world missions.
*spoiler alert*
The gauntlet was quiet easy using vim power armor and atoms vengeance (I think it's called that) and the beginning missions were pretty basic as well.
If you base attribute is higher than 10, its better than 10
getting 21 endurance gives you the ability to sprint forever
Thanks guys. The more you know.
Yeah it should be fine I loaded up my old lvl 312 character (which I named Bob The Builder lol) and only let him use a pipe pistol, and I set it on very hard (bcuz my survival is glitched atm) and i didnt have any problems,
+Lorenz Del Castillo Bob the builder! Can he fix it?
NO, ITS FUCKED
REALLY Late to the party, I know...
Lone Wanderer: 30% damage resistence
Attack Dog: 10% damage resistence = 40%
Pack Alpha as below: 25% damage resistence = 65% base
1 Sentinel's Armor = 80% damage resistence flat (Really this would be good enough)
Which means you only have to farm 1 more piece because you can buy the first = 95% damage resistence.
(He's the goodest boy... but I wish he was a husky, without mods)
I hate Preston unequivocally, and I always avoid everything to do with the Minutemen just because of the incessant "another settlement needs your help" BS, but I do think his perk's worthwhile.
Did they add the perks to non dlc? Only ask as just got nuka world and have them all ready, or is it just one more point to them?
Love the added Steady Aim. Has proven useful in a few situations.
The Awareness is nice. Any increase in accuracy in VATS I appreciate.
Ghoulish 4 Was worth it for me. Anything that helps me heal, saving my stimpacks and stuff I like.
The Dogmeat one... I almost never use Dogmeat
Yeah... They should have just replaced the path thing with the +2 Perception lol
The 10 more AP from Quick Hands 3 might prove useful to me when I need that 5th shot with my chosen sniper rifle.
I wonder if you can bring along a bot you build, and if you can, will that count as a companion?
A few Questions:
As someone who has killed all raiders without getting a perk for it (thought a there'd be one -.-), is it possible to get all 3 raider perks? *minor spoiler* is it possible to get the perks without pissing off preston? do you loose prestons max affinity perk when he gets pissed off, just like you'd loose the raider-follower (forgot his name, offed him quite quickly as my morally good char).
I'm worried this will have the same problem as the perks added in Far Harbor where if you invested in a perk before the new rank came, picking the new rank cancels the perk's effects entirely. This happened to me with Action Boy. Fortunately, I noticed the difference and reloaded a previous save.
What's enemy scaling like in the DLC? Like if you go in with someone over level 80 is it piss easy or is there higher level enemies?
honestly, if I'm in a build for FO4 that uses both Big Guns and some other type of gun (whether general automatics or non-auto rifles) the Steady Aim damage bonus would be ESSENTIAL for me. with the combo of more accurate smaller arms and Big Guns, I'd almost EXCLUSIVELY be hip-firing with my Minigun or Gatling Laser. because, for more accurate firing, I'd just pull out a rifle. and the big weapon would be for unloading on a big mother hubbard, or a large group. and being able to effectively hip fire makes it better for my playstyle, given I have better movement speed while heavy gunning.
I thought Lone Wanderer stopped working with Dogmeat a long time ago, did they un-fix it?
I always had ghoulish and solar powered maxed so i literally cannot die (in the day time of corse) for you asking wtf does the combo do with max solar powered in daytime it removes rads quick and heals you but not as fast as ghoulish, with both the healing its super fast and with solar powered removing all the radiation its pretty much the dream team of perks.
Are there any repercussions for taking over settlements? Such as Preston/companion disapproval
I took over the Abernathy farm which is right beside Red Rocket (my home base) and Preston hated the action, and hated me. No one else immediately cared.
immortalweapon what about taking over the new settlements in nuka world
*****
there arent any unfortunately. its all about taking over the commonwealth.
everyones uploading and i fucking got to go to school...pray for me
i wanna know why there isnt a bloody reassign perks thing in fallout 4, theres like 2 kinds in skyrim!
when you do a strong back builds the quick hands +10AP is a huge bonus.
alot of these criticisms come down to, "x can do that too", but if you want to minmax something you'll be taking all you can get. builds become op because they become specialized, from investing in one means of combat more and more. with that in mind the slight boosts are much better, even if they don't benefit the usual op play-styles.
I had maxed out a couple of these perks when they were 3 tier, then this new tier offered the exact same perk I previously unlocked for me to waste my upgrade on 😐..and the mysterious stranger only seems to shows up in the background as I'm killing people 😑
Is it possbile to add the wasteland warlord perk trough the console, even if you killed all three raider groups?
Maybe I'm just to dump to cheat.
You can get every other perk through console command so I don't see why not.
SaintLiam3000 Well then I'm just to incompetent to add the dlc perks.
Wouldn't a child of atom build use ghoulish?
as I showed in my under the hood video Steady aim does and has always Specifically Excludes shotguns
May be late to this one but I did the DLC at level 18 and ended it at level 37 and It was hard but made the game more interesting
As someone who only plays melee, that Pack perk is the best thing ever!
Will helping the raiders ruin your relationship with the other factions and companions? Because killing X6 was heart breaking when I did the peaceful minutemen ending. So I don't want to kill all the raiders and loose Gage. Plus I like the pack leader....
Are you saying deece, like short for decent? Or is there a language barrier I'm missin?
When I got the deliverer in fallout, it started to glitch out the game and corrupted my save file.:(
What was the SCAV! perks briefly seen near the end?
