When the game rock hard popped up, peep how the squishmellows head makes it look like part of the body on the cover w/ backwards head.Lol, just thought I'd point that out
Love all of this-can already see the positive impact of all these changes and plans, reflected in your enthusiasm, optimism, and general excitement! You two are some of my favorite content creators, but also an adorable couple, and just awesome people. Keep on keeping on, and so excited to see what comes with the channel!
Life gets busy! That makes total sense. Missed these videos and was excited to see another pop up!! Ironwood sounds like a must buy and I'm looking forward to when Max learns it 😂
Congratulations on the new studio space! I'm so excited to follow along with the process and to see the finished studio. Also, I can't wait to see more Jaime's creations, it makes me so happy that Jeff is super proud and shares it with the world ❤ I'm so glad I've been able to follow you guys in your journey, you're both incredible and really inspirational 🤗😍
Loved seeing all the games you've been enjoying! I've also fallen in love with Fromage and Draft & Write Records on BGA, among others you mentioned. I'm excited to see the new studio space once it's done. You guys are amazing and I hope the expanded space gives you more opportunity to keep doing what you're doing! My year has also been a whirlwind. We went to Origins for the first time (had a great time), bought our first house, and then my husband hurt his knee and had surgery. He's finally back to work after 2 months off and things are starting to fall into a more normal routine again. Unlike you, we've played almost no in person games this year other than what we played at Origins or around that time...hoping that will change as we head into winter hibernation moods.
That was a fun and exciting wrap up and I loved the updates- my year has also been a whirlwind (number 1 thing is that my hubby and I had a baby!) but it’s meant very little time for UA-cam so the updates were a great way to get back in touch with your channel 😊 Excited to try and keep up and watch the studio progress and see this fun Etsy stuff Jamie is working on!
So first - Your communication and demeanor with each other is remarkable and incredible. Wow. I don't know if it's like that all the time, or when the camera isn't rolling, but wow...amazing dynamic between you two. You continue to amaze me. Second - Fantastic video, loved the information and the content, so valuable. Third - How do I become friends with you on BGA so you can beat up on me?
Thanks so much!! You can send a friend request to Jamie_FTM and Jeff_FTM If you're in the discord, we are always posting and playing games with our members in there!
I have a game of Draft and Write going with Jamie right now on BGA. I’ll start one up with you Jeff We just got Cities and it’s on our showcase wall for our New-vember theme wall.
Looking forward to the new studio and Jamie's new stuff! I have a couple of these games ... Draft & Write Records is sooo good and I cannot wait for Tend!!
Within my collection, Distilled is hands down my favorite game! Of everything I've played it *may* be #2 (I still think Kanban EV is my #1 game, even though I only played it once, that's how much it resonated with me). And Rock Hard 1977 is another one that shot to my top 5 and hopefully I'll own someday soon. And I'm very glad that Jamie cast her witchy magic on me and *forced* me to buy Witchcraft! after I watched her play-through. Such a great game! Although I have to admit my favorite part of so many of your videos is how excited Juno gets when she hears you guys go into your wrap-up phrase. 💕
I'm so hype for Fromage. Ben Rosset and Matt O'Malley are GENIUSES with a time track! Wait till you play the one I playtested at Stonemaier Design Day.
Love R&W records, play it regularly, but I laminated a few of the score sheets and use wet-erase markers. (Yellow is a HORRIBLE color choice for pencil or marker though....) I want Harvest... HoneyBuzz is on the list of "gotta get"s I totally want Tend, it's may kind of Jam, but I've already backed a kickstarter and it's a bit on the pricey side, so Tend will probably wait until it actually comes out and some one has it on sale and/or in a ding & dent price drop Elder Scrolls, another one to watch for a sale (I could start a UA-cam channel and hope to get free games sent to me, but then cameras, mikes, and learning mixing skills and video editing splicing etc is expensive too... (plus no one wants to watch me, unless you want to sit there saying "That was a dumb move, this would have been much more efficient/productive to the goal at hand!" as I ramble stream-of-consciousness style and forget what I did last turn and where I'm actually headed in the game.... Life of the Amazonia (with the wooden resource token and base components upgrade) is one of my big plays, with it's "little brother", Cascadia, close behind. (I called LotA Cascadia's evolved form) Witchcraft, I've almost picked that up a few times at the bookstore, but held back even though it's compariively dirt cheap
I know it’s not a standout from this video, but I recently got Wild Tiled West after hearing Jeff rave about it and have been really enjoying it! Thanks for the recommendation.
There was a campaign for a german version of Sniper Elite (it looked kinda language neutral) from Spiele Offensive. But I am afraid it will not be delivered before Q2 in 2025 and most of the time the "leftovers" or returns show up in their online store. But i guess the freight would be terrible high.
I'm sad that we're not going to make it to PaxU this year. Meeting and chatting with the two of you has been an absolute highlight for us at Pax the past couple years. Looking a little beyond Pax, is there any chance you'll be at LevelUp Retreat at the end of January? We'll be going to that one for the first time.
@@FostertheMeeple I guess I should say that I felt as if decisions were obvious -- what you needed to do for the missions, what witches you needed to reveal in order to make the mission successful, etc. Decisions were made, but they were largely forced, no? Very glad you and most others seem to be enjoying it!
@@FostertheMeeple It's definitely good for that. I'm running 1k for every board game I play this year, so I have to keep a narrow focus. Digital games are like cheating on a diet for me 😂
Jeff bigging up Jamie, everyone needs a Jeff, so supportive and proud of her 🙂
Agreed!
I need a jeff in my life! 😂

Good luck for the future 🎉

so happy you liked it!!
Jamie, newish tattoo?! Looks good! Is that Jiji, or just general spookiness?
It is Jiji!
80 plays/games in just the month of June?? I'd be lucky to have that many throughout the year 😢

Resist is a great game set in the civil war in Spain, 1936.
Don’t leave us Jeff!
I’m not going anywhere!
OH yur new tatoo with a cats is so beautiful ! :)
thanks!! I LOVE IT!! haha
My daughter is sooo wanting to say hi and get an autograph at Pax. It's our first con!
Awesome!! You should bring her to the meet up on the Friday at 3pm, we will share more details in an upcoming video!

A lesson I am slowly learning! ha
Have you considered having your thyroid checked? It can make you SO tired if it's out of whack.
I have! It’s completely normal. Honestly a lot of my physical symptoms are attached to my anxiety. It’s a constant battle
It's okay. You'll be fine 🙂
I keep seeing wonderful reviews of Witchcraft, but I found there to be almost ZERO decision making -- sold it on. Wonering if I missed something!
oh really? I definitely feel like there are a lot of decisions to make! BUT not every game is for everyone!

Are you still looking for "Sniper Elite?"
I found a copy!
Oh dang, I leave my BGA plays out of my stats since it tracks it for me. I only log my physical plays.
If we include digital games, since the Codenames app released, I've played thousands of games.
It’s the only way we get to play with our community and friends from away so they totally count!

@@FostertheMeeple I am dying. I'm 140k behind with 3 more conventions this year. It's not looking good, but I got out running much more than normal.
