They have to be the most beautiful diesels...such an elegant design...but God they look tatty and so unloved here. Beautiful camera work as usual Bevan.
It’s the way they were built every Alco smoked like that and the fact these old girls were still fighting is marvellous the 44s were worked hard and still pushed through and for buckets of junk maybe you should consider your comment as junk
