Interesting - The House Democrats and House Republicans keep saying what each party wants ... It is not what they want. It is what the American citizens demand. After all, the funding is coming out of our pockets.

It is at the height of stupidity to have Israel and Ukraine foreign aid in the same bill. And what is more stupid is the amount. But its like we have become numb to these outrageous irresponsible amounts, just like we have become numb to the national debt number. These are not smart people steering our ship... more like pirates.

It should be Mandatory to Read the BILL before voting or debate. Not to ... "Dispense with reading the BILL."
Single issue voting should be mandatory for any large foreign aid or domestic spend. Force everyone to see how your representatives vote on issues and don’t let them hide pork barrel spending.

Ya know.... Each one of these folks are supposed to have knowledge in specific areas and given large budgets to study and propose legislation based on that expertise. The fact that they cannot merely Do the Work, Compromise and Get it Over the Line is shameful. I really don't care who you like or don't...get it done!

Representative Mike Johnson did the right thing and while it may set off extremists, he demonstrated what it means to put Country Over Party. This is a good thing.
