Great video! BTW, this version you show of Quatermass and the Pit (AKA 5 Million Years to Earth) was released in 1967 in colour. The original Quatermass and the Pit was a BBC 6-part B&W TV series shown in 1958

I did like the “27th day” of course they reused the Ray Harryhausen saucers from “Earth Vs The Flying Saucers”

I saw at least 3 versions of the same basic story. Explorers get to earth’s future by time warp spacecraft or Time Machine and discover the last of mankind as we know it are hold up in caves under ground while dangerous radioactivity mutated humans roam freely on the surface trying to get at the under ground functioning humans resources. One I remember the title was “The Time Travelers” 1964 does anyone know the other movie names and were they done in the 50s? Even Gene Roddenberry made a version in the 70s “Genesis II” I think it was called.
