Space Raiders seams to made up of SFX from Battle Beyond The Stars lol. I also thought I saw some footage from a movie called Android there as well.

Agreed. The ship is virtually the same and they did use ships from other films as well. Some of these classic 'B' films are hard to sit through but classic never the less!
