  • Li-Fi or light Fidelity refers to visible light communication system using light as a medium for communication.
    Light has more capacity in terms of bandwidth in visible light region, therefore it will not disturb in other modes of communication which uses radio frequency.
    The triplet Li-Fi technology is introduced with light multiplexing scheme in which RGB color lights are used.
    The RGB light combined to form white light which improves the security and capacity.
    Triplet Li-Fi is able to carry three data at a time so it will be three times faster than a normal Li-Fi which means three hundred times faster than a Wi-Fi.
    The concept of triplet Li-Fi is data communication on fast flickering of light cannot identify by the human eye but it is focused on a triplet photo-detectors which converts the lights into data.
    This technology can replace current near field communication system as well as Wi-Fi routers and it will bring greener, safer and cheaper future of communication.

      Using conventional RGB mixing. Red-green-blue lights flick faster these will result a white light as visible. With precision filtering receiver can recover the data.

      is any special multiplexer or demultiplexer is required for light?

      ARUL TEEN It is intended to send data in parallel. RGB can send 3 bit at a time. Flickering rate will be faster than humans perception. Result will be a cool white light that I mean multiplexing.

    The question can li fi be provided at Ballparks and stadiums? Like how wifi is now?

      rf11404 Yes it is possible. LiFi receiver can distinguish sunlight and LiFi. LiFi has it’s own benefit in it’s area like greater speed and security. We are working hard to make LiFi to work seamlessly.
