Once upon a time, where you see that highway used to be flourishing Black-owned neighborhoods and businesses. Our own little Black Wallstreet N.O. style. That's the 6th wd (Lafitte Project) right up the block from the world renowned Dookey Chase's Restaurant!

The "coming out the door was poorly organized, if there was a need for barricades, THIS was it, I've seen smaller "coming out the door" secondlines with better organizing than this using ropes,someone surely dropped the ball with this one!
