Good stuff, brother! The more tournaments you fish, the better you'll do. Tournament fishing is different from just fishing. Takes a little bit to figure out and get used to. =)
Cool bro, I personally used to host a non-profit spring tourney (Joe Sylvia's HAWGATHON) and a fall one (Joe Sylvia's LUNKERFEST) in honor of my dad at SNIPPY back in the late 90's, early 2000's. Phenomenal times, miss those days. 5 bass limit per boat and a lunker pool. Lot of big fish weighed in back then. Really AWESOME and I TRULY admire the new age of kayak tourneys, catch and release on the spot, pretty cool. Best of luck with your future tournament endeavors!!!

Connor thanks for sharing your day on the lake, the weather was not playing nice. It’s good to get some fish in the kayak, but that’s got to be trying your patience catching all those pickerels. If the weather was nice maybe catching all those non bass would not have been that frustrating! So hard to stay focused with weather like that man, I spiral 😂 if I could offer any tournament advice it would be to carry a net to lessen your chances of loosing that key fish! Great video see you at the next one 🤙🏽

Really enjoying your videos, even after the titan x build. Just wondering, were you carrying it from the bottom because of the recent handle concerns?
Honestly no. I prefer carrying it from the bottom I think it makes moving it way easier. As long as you’re not over ratcheting the handle like it’s an excavator or trying to yank the entire weight of the boat from that handle in an awkward way. You won’t snap the handle. But when you’re using the landing gear, it takes off some of that pressure on the handle.
But obviously, it is something I am keeping in mind. But as long as you’re smart about it you’ll be ok.

Yeah I can agree with that. Fishing has been hit or miss for a little while
