u are cooking....kurapika will give chrollo his chain ability and in change chrollo will give his life to kurapika once its all said and done...but chrollo will ask kurapika to stop pursuing the phantom troupe so they can all live....chrollo is destroyed,he lost uvogin,pakunoda,shalnark and kortopi so i think he will do anything in his power to protect the remaining members....it would be a good parallel to what pakunoda and uvogin did in yorknew and he as the leader should do that

Morena said previously that she wanted one of Tserriednich's guards. My guess would be that the target is someone in Tserri's friend group, though that's just gut feeling and plot convenience. The irony that Morena might save the world she wants to destroy from a dc calamity if she does manage to sink the ship is pretty sweet.

The amount of joy I got from the internal monologue of a sociopath in clown makeup should be studied in psych programs. Hisoka's lack of presence in the CA arc is something I've discussed with friends over the years, and that small line of insight we got on why he never cared is everything bro. Speaking of, great catch on the necessity of an informant on Halk's Nen. It'd be one thing to deduce an ability that requires a group but would take omniscient insight for Hisoka to know how he received it without some help. Mummy bro is for sure gonna die, Chrollo looks like he's about to drop some Russian darkwave as always and it was epic to see you bring up the tattoo guy theory in a video! Very excited for your mafia vid as I need the refresher on Ken's deal. As for the dogman plan, my best guess is one of the queens (maybe Morena also got baby swapped and her mom is on board?). Not too confident on that but I'm very positive it isn't Steiner, as Kaiser has easy access to him already. And we've still got half a volume left to look forward to, boys!
I believe that Hisoka is resourceful enought to discover about the nen beasts by himself. He is a predator, so he was hunting prey(discovering their abilities, potential and etc). But i have other wild guess: Pariston helped him in gaining access to Tier 1. Because he is the kinda of wild card that can cause enough chaos for Pariston to "profit". Great video as always Otter!
It's 100% possible. I'm just stuck on the fact that, if he'd deduced it on his own, he wouldn't say he found out it was a group later (thereby losing his battle-boner). And how could he "find out" on his own? He definitely didn't spot Les Dissonances in action from behind a poker table.
It is fully possible that Hisoka used texture surprise and disguised himself as a guard, went to hawk in the justice beuro, saw a nen beast and figured the rest out. If abilities like morena's can be easily deduced by nobanaga, a smarter character like hisoka might be able to do the same thing with the succession war.
i’m glad you also noticed the suicidal-ness / lack of self preservation from chrollo because of him taking responsibility for his friends death, it reminds me so much of the CAA which is depressing. to me it feels like chrollo wants this cycle of people dying / being taken away to end with him to make up for it by making a deal and taking down hisoka
I don’t think Chrollo is suicidal rather he doesn’t value his own life which is something we have known since the “Yorknew City arc when Melody listened to his heartbeat. This mentality seeps into the very ethos of the “Spider” where the prosperity of the group trumps the survival of any of its individual members.
What a chapter honestly. Togashi keeps on hitting banger after banger. Love the small insights into Chrollo’s character, like not being able to replace 9, the troupe knows he’s putting on a facade and he will end this performance soon? He’s so interesting. Goth king! Begging 4th Prince, Kurapika and Chrollo all interact. Would love some serious Kurapika and Chrollo plot along with not making 4th Prince completely evil. So much potential.

you brought up the question of why hisoka would team up with kill stealers, but I think he‘d be pretty alright with someone killing a bunch of 10-20 scorers on his test if that turns that dude into 90 or smth. regardless of who he‘s working with knowing him I expect a backstab, especially with him getting "starved" for a good fight currently.
Hey Otter, i saw some people discussing about the chapter on the hxh reddit and saw something that picked my eye. There was a guy talking about how Morena can be based on the myth of the goddess Morana and so i went to do some research. Some nice takes: -Morana death representes the winter turning into spring. Her "sacrifice" brings a new "dawn"(she is usually drowned or burned). But, she always ressurects(for me the symbology is her ability lasting even after her death and the cycle beggining anew). -The thing that caught my attention the most is the part about the goddess having a lover/sibling that has blonde hair, is very beautifull and has fixations with horses(with are associated with rituals about seeing the future). Perhaps her relation with Tse is more warped than we tought.

You're the first person I've heard that puts a Kurapika & Chrollo alliance on the table and I love it I reached the same conclusion and knowing Togashi did the same with Gon and Hisoka in Greed Island, maybe this can work and we can get some insight in why Chrollo killed the Kuruta Clan. If it's not Kurapika, then I'd wager Hisoka is getting this info from a prince who is not actually aware that they're feeding him info. Like for example, I can imagine Tyson actually just chatting with Hisoka about things that are going on in Tier 1, thinking that they're just talking in a friendly manner. When in reality, Hisoka's just using her for info.
i kinda want camilla to be the informant and the ally of hisoka just so that he will attend the nen teaching which might be a part of his plan to kill the troupe (i js want them to interact after a decade bro 😭) or it might actually be luzurus, which would make him have a hisoka as a wild card, which i think that somebody like him would likely do something like that. He might've known for the rumble since it's not that hard to deduce it's from halkenburng and his guards
Togashi always talked about how the kurta massacre has a "another side". Chrollo meeting with Kurapika would be a great opportunity for the whole truth to came out(and perhaps another insane flashback with the troupe).

Actually thinking a bit more it's possible any prince with a queen ranking above Halkenburg could know his ability is a group ability, this means the 4th prince should be included in people who could have invited Hisoka to the 1st tier. Not only did the first queen have a spy watching Halkenburg when he got his ability, but Theta along with 4 other spys passed the hunter exam. I would also say Hisoka is an artist / connoisseur and could have a relationship with Tserriednich. Not to mention it would set up a Hisoka + Tserriednich vs Kurapika + Chrollo team up you were talking about.
Halkenburg is (officially) Duazul's kid so there's only one queen ranking above that, and Unma's not blabbing his secrets around town because she's secretly his real mom and supports him! But a Tserriednich/Hisoka connection is possible. (Just feels less likely since Hisoka only seems valuable if you know about Nen, and Tserriednich didn't until he was on the boat.)

Maybe the troupe at the end saw the 4th princes collection? The 4th prince may have wanted to bring some of or even all of his collection with him, but surely not much of that could be on tier 1. The doorway is meant for use by the mafias after all and the 4th prince could've hidden stuff there. I feel like that's about the only thing that would shock the troupe. Alternatively, it may be a strange secret room like the coffin room that has some veiled purpose we can't predict yet, which I'd say is much more likely.
Morena's desolate eyes grow more haunting each time I see them. Her intro panel this chapter damn near set off my fight or flight response. Between killing Lynch (RIP in peace, soul punch girl) and using Owl's face as his swap-out, Bonolenov seems like he's inadvertently setting up a big disruption of the Spiders' plans and alliances with the Xi-Yu and Cha-R. Breaking the trust that Nobunaga's team has built and turning the mafia against them could spell a major win for Morena, considering how quickly they've been able to both locate her base with Hinrigh's help, and deduce her ability almost perfectly. The uncertainty in his inner monologue basically assures me that it'll come back to bite them.
The theory of Pariston giving Hisoka access to tier 1 may be supported by Hisoka's statement on the chimera ants, of which we know that Pariston has access to a chimera ant army. Maybe Pariston gave Hisoka some information, though it's too far of a stretch, but maybe it's still a clue.
I am glad you mentioned Moreno's mentioning of the start of the end because I was thinking who could match level of chaos, all I really have is baseless guesses if you go from the top the king would seem like the best way if you wanna cause pandemonium on t5-2 but that'd prevent her followers leveling up as easily? Or someone to allow them to avoid the law to level up faster but it seems like they've achieved this
Togashi is so crazy, man. Remember when we thought Hisoka came back two years ago, we almost lose our sh-ts only to reveal it was an imposter. And imagine the Nen ability Chrollo’s looking for happens to be with Tserri’s collections. The interaction and possible alliance will be phenomenal. Kurapika would need to toe to toe with Tserri for the remaining Scarlet Eyes, head to head with the Phantom Troupe and back out the threats to Prince Wobble. That kind of climax is like Kurapika’s one last stand as a one man army. 🥲
Maybe dogman is looking for a queen? They don’t know nen and could be very influential. It doesn’t make much sense if they’re looking for an specific nen ability but if instead they’re looking for a person who can develop a new one it may fit. They may be in the funeral of a prince and be interested in working with an outsider to either kill the princes or even the king or just interrupt the succession war altogether. They’re close to power (and the king I suppose) and may want to sieze it for something? Idk, but who else could it be if not someone who haven’t been introduced, but maybe someone of royal blood who doesn’t have nen could be it imo

Wow great idea was racking my brain of who/what ability Chrollo is after. it would be a great reason for the two to meet and could lead to a possible short term alliance until the both of them have take out their targets on the ship. I wonder how effective his Kurapkias chains would be against Hisoka.
I think the person that Heil-Ly is looking for, is one of the people belonging to the Tserriednich childhood friend group. I can't think of any reason, other than them having not been mentioned in a while.
My crackpot theory is Dogman is looking for who among Tserriednich's friends is a child of Beyond and plans to use that powerful nen curse that was placed on them. Perigord the "Organ" seems to be implied to be an enchanter with a similar ability to Bill's. My hypothesis is that Peri's accelerate growth ability will be used to power up the Nen curse to be even more wide reaching, to the point of being able to affect a large part of the boat, causing mass death or worse which will start mass panic.
I like it, but it'd rely on Morena knowing about Beyond's curse babies somehow, and that couldn't be the kidnapping target because those are all Nen users.
Narratively speaking, just based on Togashi's writing style, I feel like chrollo and kurapika having to work together would definitely be a possibility. Though not at all willingly, strictly begrudgingly.
My initial assumption about the page Chrollo is looking for is that he doesn’t have a specific ability in mind, he’s just wandering around looking for strong Nen users that could have abilities he can steal. But Chrollo does have a specific ability in mind, then yeah Kurapika is the only one I think he’d know about.
If chrollo and kurapika make an agreement I could see kurapika making very harsh conditions and restrictions with moonlight act and using judgements chain on chrollo to ensure that chrollo follows the rules. Chrollo may very well want to end the troupe and kill hisoka, and maybe even himself in the process. I wonder if moonlight act being used by kurapika could grant a small amount of emperor time to someone at the cost of his own lifespan like normal. If we get really crazy kurapika could have chrollo help get the eyes back out something, but honestly I kinda doubt if they will even team up in any sorta way.
Idk, Hisoka often just KNOWS shit randomly, and has been noted as basically unnaturally perceptive at many points, so I wouldn't put it past him having just figured out Halkenburg's ability. Something else on my mind I haven't seen mentioned in other videos. Morena and the Mafia seem entirely unaware of the succession war's progression, and the Princes seem entirely unaware of Morena and the Mafia's war and drama, the only ones with an inkling of both are the Justice Beuro. But that's besides the point...the point is, if Halkenberg is planning something big with enducing a lot of nen at his burial, and Morena and others are planning something at that burial too...that's going to cause a fucking implosion of chaos as the two wars have a tactical moment collide without either side being aware of the other. Oh also i find it very very weird Hisoka's poker hand is ALL THREEs except 2 aces. The man is KNOWN for dealing 4s and 4=death. I really wonder what Togashi means making his hand have so much of the number right before 4. It must mean something otherwise the numbers would just be more random. Hisoka's change of mindset, an ill fate for him, him being protected from death, him no longer being interested in dealing death? It could be so much...
Discussing the door, the tunnel being a line to walk 5 tiers up I think I overlooked because it clearly seems weird and impractical. So for what the grand reveal is I actually predict we'll see a huge underworld hidden within the whale. Given the whale being structured as a society I think it makes sense the actual underworld exists, but is hidden. Maybe some social commentary thing that the shady business of the underworld is always nearby like how you never truly know your neighbour. In this case a literal wall's separation from the nastiest place in society. As for what the troupe will specifically see, idk, just something fancy like a miniature las vegas casino area. haha, great video. I support the Kaiser theory more and more for every passing chapter
I can’t say who specifically dogman is looking for but I would assume maybe it’s someone who is a specialist? The ability only works on people who aren’t nen users correct?(just checked works on anyone) And morena doesn’t have any specialists to my knowledge maybe she just needs a specialist regardless of who it is to join her? You’d think when they are all together in their hideout they’d just say who they’re specifically looking for but since they say “who were looking for” screams to me they aren’t looking for someone specific just who fits their criteria and since they are sending dog man who can find nen affinities it’s safe to say the criteria they have is nen affinity. Dogman is most likely looking for a specialist since Murina's group may not have one worth using Another idea is that theyre just continuing the whole "find a Terror sandwich person to use" being the ones we saw and dogman wants the one with specialist qualities
I have the sense that everything is connected in this arc, but we have yet to see Beyond and Pariston with the mafia stuff. Maybe they are connected in a way that Togashi is yet to reveal? He still has ases up he’s sleeve as we just saw with his cursed children so why not him being involved or aware and profiting from the chaos that comes. Also I get the feeling that Pariston should be doing something, maybe he is entertained with Ging? Idk, I just get the feeling that all this will circle back to itself.
My fringe whacky theory is that Bonolenov at some point will metamorphosen into Tsetri's tattoo artist( after the troupe kills him for the childhood thing) and give Tserri a secret spider tatoo, technically making him part of the troupe and allowing Kurapika to use all of his abolities on him.

Good video as always! I have a hunch Dogman is looking for Tserriednich's friends to use as Morena's avenue to kill Tserriednich. Dogman's power will sniff out which one of them is right for the job. Otacin and Momolly do have a funny throwaway interaction about kissing which could be read creepy foreshadowing about one of them having to kiss Morena later.

Keep this channel running!! The way you include info from past chapters like why Spike/Bonolenov is refreshing. Also a fun tidbit is Benjamin is smarter than Hisoka in regards to nen knowledge. Hisoka needed to be told what that rumbling was, Benjamin deduced what it was. I think adding comparisons like that between characters would add another layer to the videos. Finally, I enjoy your content, but you and all the HxH content creators with the exception of NWR use unofficial texts. I’d prefer breakdowns on the official chapters.
The issue is really time. If I waited for VIZ, my videos would be going up a couple days later, and a big motivator for me is getting to be part of the community discussion! I don't want to be coming in so late that people have talked things to death.
I feel like Hisoka found out about Halkenburg himself if he's been snooping around. He may have been let on by Pariston. He could be Morena's joker, but I don't think it's likely.
You know I just realized if Morena’s crew kills a bunch of people at the funeral procession while Halkenburg shooting his arrows that kinda solves the issue of all the civilians getting swapped and giving him away.
Morena already said they had to use Dogman and the dude with the kidnap ability to get one of Tserriednich's guards but yeah it's not something game ending, so I expect something more significant along with that.
So for Hisoka, there could be a prince sponsor who doesnt know about Halkenburg's ability but hisoka used his Bungee gum disguise ability to infiltrate one of the prince rooms and find out what happened.
This past 4 months I learn more symbology and fortune telling, the cards in first page is poker with atleast double deck. Its showing 5 cards with same number mean is powerful bomb (because 4 of a kind is bomb) it reminding me of poor man's rose. Number 3 is mean "connecting", 3 of spade, love, club, diamond, mean connecting thought, feeling, physical/material and action. And there is 2 heart so this bomb affecting 2 heart indicating his hope (he and his partner) Ace of spade mean death but also mean rebirth, it is like logo of hunter x hunter (X♦️X), 2 people die, 2 people resurrect, also mean 2 assholes (hisoka & chrollo)(komugi meruem)(gon killua) Oh also in manga I read is translated solitare as a saying of self-love
I’m team Kurapika for sure for Hisoka’s sponsor, I think that’s the only narratively satisfying option as well considering they have been in contact before (surreptitious contact at that!) and the others don’t have any connection to Hisoka.
Def might be overthinking the 'Hisoka being fed info' aspect a bit - he's always had a knack for deducing abilities + nen types. As far as who Morena is after, there's realistically only ab 3 possibilities: 1. One of Tserri's military friends 2. A bodyguard/servant to a prince 3.A member of the Justice Bureau. A bonus option would be one of the other Mafia heads, but that's really it as far as people who dont know nen go. Im so excited that we still have another 5 chs of confirmed hxh goodness and that we're likely approaching the mid-point climax of the arc.
I think Dogman is looking for a Beyond-cursed guard like Longhi, recruiting/killing these guards assigned to the 3 mafia-related princes is the fastest way to cause mass chaos, so Tserri's friends are the targets. Kurapika getting access to Dogman could be a key to discerning the user of Silent Majority.
To find out what the heily want we have to look at their short term and long term objectives Their short term objective: get lots of kills for their soldiers to level up and wipe out the factions who want to kill then (phantom troupe, mafia families) Long term goal is to destroy the black whale or anyone really So what would they want? What are they lacking? I think their looking for a win condition someone with the potential for perhaps mass manipulation on the black whale which would achieve both of their goals as they could manipulate people into walking into their meat grinder or use their civilian army to overrun the hunters and military
Some sort of mass coercion would definitely let them trigger a war! But Tserri's pals tell us their "civilian" status is already on its way to doing that... It's a better answer than I've got, though. ALSO: I forgot to mention this, but Nobunaga hints at the Heil-Ly maybe having multiple objectives (something other than "kill everyone"), which supports my theory about them colluding with Nasubi/the JB. Could have plugged my Kaiser video again...
My giga crackpot theory building on your Ninth Page theory is that Chrollo might steal one of the Kurta eyes and transplant it into himself. The eye wouldn't actually let him see anything, but since it's permanently scarlet it would let him bypass the restriction on emperor time if he stole that ability.
I think Dogman is looking for a specialist, as you said the Heil-Ly has most of the nen specializations covered so they should be able to manifest most abilities they need but I believe Morena is their only specialist. As far as what Prince could be Hisoka's benefactor I would think 2nd Prince Camilla and 7th Prince Luzurus could also be candidates. I feel like Camilla's personality sort of vibes with Hisoka and she's obviously well versed with Nen and has quite a few Nen users working under her, I wouldn't doubt they'd be able to surmise Halkenburg's ability required a group. Luzurus as a candidate is mostly based on his currently mysterious and unexplored background, especially with the theory he may be a sleeper Beyond-child.
I have a different interpretation of the 9th spot. We have never gotten any information about the person on the 9th spot in the Troupe (Shal could be 6th or 9th, but now it's confirmed that the 9th is vacant so Shal has to be 6th). That 9th spot, thus, was likely to be "reserved" for an honorary member, which would either be Sarasa herself or Sheila who left them after the incident.
Another speculation I have is Hisoka's hand in the card game. Let's just put aside the suits, if we assume each card is a kill, and the number of the card(s) indicates the "encounter", then it could be interpreted as the 1st hunt (ace) he got 2 kills (Shal and Kortopi), the 2nd hunt would be a miss, and the 3rd hunt he would take down 5 members of the Troupe. In that sense the suits would indicate how many member Hisoka would kill in a single battle (same suits same battles)?

Insane callout on Machi's guess! That's back in Chapter 89, I hadn't remembered at all. But it supports the future team-up concept, if only by a little.
That would be crazy, but I feel like one of the 4th princes friends is most likely. If they take Steiner the stakes would definitely be up and that could incorporate characters like Mizaistom back into the story. I JUST REMEMBERED A DETAIL ABOUT CHROLLO ASKING FOR CHAIN JAIL: -The ability won't work on Hisoka due to him not being a PT member, reason why Judgement Chain didn't kill Chrollo once he told Hisoka that he had no Nen anymore, and I genuinely doubt Chain Jail can get enhanced by post-mortem Nen of a user who stole the ability. So I'd bet it might be Steal Chain instead.
Doesnt it have to be the exceedingly rare nen exorcist type to follow along with the idea that excorcising the source of the nen beasts would destroy them all in one swipe. The only other thing that would make sense is they need a specialist of some sort for some reason. It doesnt make sense they would have to hunt for any other type as they would not be all that hard to find and they probably have at least one of each regular type already.
I have a weird feeling that chrollo is gunning for beyonds ability. Hes the only one i can think that could have an ability strong enough while also being someone you would know for certain is going to be on the boat. Hes also conveniently imprisoned and the conditions to steal can be met easier.
He is a famous guy on Tier 1, but I'm not sure how Chrollo could even know his ability or whether or not it'd be useful to him. Stealing Isaac's ability, for example, would be a waste of time cuz no one else can pray that fast.
I was thinking that the ' page' was Camilla. Perhaps in the hope that postmortem Nen negates postmortem Nen. Though how they'd know about the Cat when Benjamin didn't I don't know.

Hey you took my advice to heart and stuck to HxH stuff only in the video without any irl stuff which is appreciated :) The seed urn ceremony that created the parasyte beast is something the prince of Kakin who invited him could have easily told him. As for Halkenburg's ability, well we do know that Halkenburg recruited people from among his followers in the ship so Hisoka could have easily investigated it himself. Since he is on tier 1.
I dunno how much investigation he can do with no source of info. He's not getting line of sight on the prince's ability in action, unless he's Texture Surprising himself into a Halk guard or something. Nor is he going to overhear details about the Seed Urn Ceremony by listening around corners in the hallway.
Hisoka definitely noticed benolenov remember his perception is capable of determining ppl even in perfect zetsu under the right conditions and benolenov is using a hatsu to transform into hisoka which probably means his aura output is high rn if not in a complete state of ren
We don't know if he has to be outputting aura nonstop throughout the transformation. Was Illumi doing that as Gittarackur? He might just use the aura to transform and then it lasts however long it lasts.

It's good seeing someone really take note of the fact that Hisoka somehow knows the particulars of Halks ability,especially interesting is the fact that he knows the nen beast was created via a ceremony,that's not the kind of thing he could deduce without insider information.

Hisoka's lack of presence in the CA arc is something I've discussed with friends over the years, and that small line of insight we got on why he never cared is everything bro.
Speaking of, great catch on the necessity of an informant on Halk's Nen. It'd be one thing to deduce an ability that requires a group but would take omniscient insight for Hisoka to know how he received it without some help. Mummy bro is for sure gonna die, Chrollo looks like he's about to drop some Russian darkwave as always and it was epic to see you bring up the tattoo guy theory in a video!
Very excited for your mafia vid as I need the refresher on Ken's deal. As for the dogman plan, my best guess is one of the queens (maybe Morena also got baby swapped and her mom is on board?). I believe that Hisoka is resourceful enought to discover about the nen beasts by himself. He is a predator, so he was hunting prey(discovering their abilities, potential and etc). But i have other wild guess: Pariston helped him in gaining access to Tier 1. Because he is the kinda of wild card that can cause enough chaos for Pariston to "profit".

It's 100% possible. I'm just stuck on the fact that, if he'd deduced it on his own, he wouldn't say he found out it was a group later (thereby losing his battle-boner). And how could he "find out" on his own? He definitely didn't spot Les Dissonances in action from behind a poker table.
It is fully possible that Hisoka used texture surprise and disguised himself as a guard, went to hawk in the justice beuro, saw a nen beast and figured the rest out. If abilities like morena's can be easily deduced by nobanaga, a smarter character like hisoka might be able to do the same thing with the succession war.

Hey Otter, i saw some people discussing about the chapter on the hxh reddit and saw something that picked my eye.
There was a guy talking about how Morena can be based on the myth of the goddess Morana and so i went to do some research.
Some nice takes:
-Morana death representes the winter turning into spring. Her "sacrifice" brings a new "dawn"(she is usually drowned or burned). But, she always ressurects(for me the symbology is her ability lasting even after her death and the cycle beggining anew).
-The thing that caught my attention the most is the part about the goddess having a lover/sibling that has blonde hair, is very beautifull and has fixations with horses(with are associated with rituals about seeing the future). Perhaps her relation with Tse is more warped than we tought.
Thats way too specific, i think Togashi might have based the two on that. It never made sense to me why Tse would support Morena

Actually thinking a bit more it's possible any prince with a queen ranking above Halkenburg could know his ability is a group ability, this means the 4th prince should be included in people who could have invited Hisoka to the 1st tier. Not only did the first queen have a spy watching Halkenburg when he got his ability, but Theta along with 4 other spys passed the hunter exam. I would also say Hisoka is an artist / connoisseur and could have a relationship with Tserriednich. Not to mention it would set up a Hisoka + Tserriednich vs Kurapika + Chrollo team up you were talking about.
Halkenburg is (officially) Duazul's kid so there's only one queen ranking above that, and Unma's not blabbing his secrets around town because she's secretly his real mom and supports him! But a Tserriednich/Hisoka connection is possible. (Just feels less likely since Hisoka only seems valuable if you know about Nen, and Tserriednich didn't until he was on the boat.)

Maybe the troupe at the end saw the 4th princes collection? The 4th prince may have wanted to bring some of or even all of his collection with him, but surely not much of that could be on tier 1. The doorway is meant for use by the mafias after all and the 4th prince could've hidden stuff there. I feel like that's about the only thing that would shock the troupe. Alternatively, it may be a strange secret room like the coffin room that has some veiled purpose we can't predict yet, which I'd say is much more likely.
Morena's desolate eyes grow more haunting each time I see them. Her intro panel this chapter damn near set off my fight or flight response.
Between killing Lynch (RIP in peace, soul punch girl) and using Owl's face as his swap-out, Bonolenov seems like he's inadvertently setting up a big disruption of the Spiders' plans and alliances with the Xi-Yu and Cha-R. Breaking the trust that Nobunaga's team has built and turning the mafia against them could spell a major win for Morena, considering how quickly they've been able to both locate her base with Hinrigh's help, and deduce her ability almost perfectly. The uncertainty in his inner monologue basically assures me that it'll come back to bite them.

The theory of Pariston giving Hisoka access to tier 1 may be supported by Hisoka's statement on the chimera ants, of which we know that Pariston has access to a chimera ant army. Maybe Pariston gave Hisoka some information, though it's too far of a stretch, but maybe it's still a clue.

Maybe dogman is looking for a queen? They don’t know nen and could be very influential. It doesn’t make much sense if they’re looking for an specific nen ability but if instead they’re looking for a person who can develop a new one it may fit. They may be in the funeral of a prince and be interested in working with an outsider to either kill the princes or even the king or just interrupt the succession war altogether. They’re close to power (and the king I suppose) and may want to sieze it for something?

I think the person that Heil-Ly is looking for, is one of the people belonging to the Tserriednich childhood friend group. I can't think of any reason, other than them having not been mentioned in a while.
My crackpot theory is Dogman is looking for who among Tserriednich's friends is a child of Beyond and plans to use that powerful nen curse that was placed on them. Perigord the "Organ" seems to be implied to be an enchanter with a similar ability to Bill's. My hypothesis is that Peri's accelerate growth ability will be used to power up the Nen curse to be even more wide reaching, to the point of being able to affect a large part of the boat, causing mass death or worse which will start mass panic.
I like it, but it'd rely on Morena knowing about Beyond's curse babies somehow, and that couldn't be the kidnapping target because those are all Nen users.
Narratively speaking, just based on Togashi's writing style, I feel like chrollo and kurapika having to work together would definitely be a possibility. Though not at all willingly, strictly begrudgingly.
My initial assumption about the page Chrollo is looking for is that he doesn’t have a specific ability in mind, he’s just wandering around looking for strong Nen users that could have abilities he can steal. But Chrollo does have a specific ability in mind, then yeah Kurapika is the only one I think he’d know about.

If chrollo and kurapika make an agreement I could see kurapika making very harsh conditions and restrictions with moonlight act and using judgements chain on chrollo to ensure that chrollo follows the rules. Chrollo may very well want to end the troupe and kill hisoka, and maybe even himself in the process. I wonder if moonlight act being used by kurapika could grant a small amount of emperor time to someone at the cost of his own lifespan like normal. If we get really crazy kurapika could have chrollo help get the eyes back out something, but honestly I kinda doubt if they will even team up in any sorta way.
Idk, Hisoka often just KNOWS shit randomly, and has been noted as basically unnaturally perceptive at many points, so I wouldn't put it past him having just figured out Halkenburg's ability.
Something else on my mind I haven't seen mentioned in other videos. Morena and the Mafia seem entirely unaware of the succession war's progression, and the Princes seem entirely unaware of Morena and the Mafia's war and drama, the only ones with an inkling of both are the Justice Beuro.
But that's besides the point...the point is, if Halkenberg is planning something big with enducing a lot of nen at his burial, and Morena and others are planning something at that burial too...that's going to cause a fucking implosion of chaos as the two wars have a tactical moment collide without either side being aware of the other.
Oh also i find it very very weird Hisoka's poker hand is ALL THREEs except 2 aces. The man is KNOWN for dealing 4s and 4=death. I really wonder what Togashi means making his hand have so much of the number right before 4. It must mean something otherwise the numbers would just be more random. Hisoka's change of mindset, an ill fate for him, him being protected from death, him no longer being interested in dealing death? It could be so much...
Discussing the door, the tunnel being a line to walk 5 tiers up I think I overlooked because it clearly seems weird and impractical. So for what the grand reveal is I actually predict we'll see a huge underworld hidden within the whale. Given the whale being structured as a society I think it makes sense the actual underworld exists, but is hidden. Maybe some social commentary thing that the shady business of the underworld is always nearby like how you never truly know your neighbour. In this case a literal wall's separation from the nastiest place in society. As for what the troupe will specifically see, idk, just something fancy like a miniature las vegas casino area. haha, great video. I support the Kaiser theory more and more for every passing chapter

The ability only works on people who aren’t nen users correct?(just checked works on anyone) And morena doesn’t have any specialists to my knowledge maybe she just needs a specialist regardless of who it is to join her? You’d think when they are all together in their hideout they’d just say who they’re specifically looking for but since they say “who were looking for” screams to me they aren’t looking for someone specific just who fits their criteria and since they are sending dog man who can find nen affinities it’s safe to say the criteria they have is nen affinity. I have the sense that everything is connected in this arc, but we have yet to see Beyond and Pariston with the mafia stuff. Maybe they are connected in a way that Togashi is yet to reveal? He still has ases up he’s sleeve as we just saw with his cursed children so why not him being involved or aware and profiting from the chaos that comes. Also I get the feeling that Pariston should be doing something, maybe he is entertained with Ging?

My fringe whacky theory is that Bonolenov at some point will metamorphosen into Tsetri's tattoo artist( after the troupe kills him for the childhood thing) and give Tserri a secret spider tatoo, technically making him part of the troupe and allowing Kurapika to use all of his abolities on him.
Just bearing a tattoo doesn't make you a Spider! We found that out back in Trick Tower with Majtani.

Good video as always! I have a hunch Dogman is looking for Tserriednich's friends to use as Morena's avenue to kill Tserriednich. Dogman's power will sniff out which one of them is right for the job. Otacin and Momolly do have a funny throwaway interaction about kissing which could be read creepy foreshadowing about one of them having to kiss Morena later.
only thing I can think is that Morena needs a specialist and maybe her ability can't make one by leveling up since I don't think we had a confirmed specialist out of any of the people that have leveled up yet

Also a fun tidbit is Benjamin is smarter than Hisoka in regards to nen knowledge. Hisoka needed to be told what that rumbling was, Benjamin deduced what it was. I think adding comparisons like that between characters would add another layer to the videos.
Finally, I enjoy your content, but you and all the HxH content creators with the exception of NWR use unofficial texts. I’d prefer breakdowns on the official chapters.
The issue is really time. If I waited for VIZ, my videos would be going up a couple days later, and a big motivator for me is getting to be part of the community discussion! I don't want to be coming in so late that people have talked things to death.

I feel like Hisoka found out about Halkenburg himself if he's been snooping around. He may have been let on by Pariston. He could be Morena's joker, but I don't think it's likely.
You know I just realized if Morena’s crew kills a bunch of people at the funeral procession while Halkenburg shooting his arrows that kinda solves the issue of all the civilians getting swapped and giving him away.
Morena already said they had to use Dogman and the dude with the kidnap ability to get one of Tserriednich's guards but yeah it's not something game ending, so I expect something more significant along with that.

So for Hisoka, there could be a prince sponsor who doesnt know about Halkenburg's ability but hisoka used his Bungee gum disguise ability to infiltrate one of the prince rooms and find out what happened.
This past 4 months I learn more symbology and fortune telling, the cards in first page is poker with atleast double deck. Its showing 5 cards with same number mean is powerful bomb (because 4 of a kind is bomb) it reminding me of poor man's rose. Number 3 is mean "connecting", 3 of spade, love, club, diamond, mean connecting thought, feeling, physical/material and action. And there is 2 heart so this bomb affecting 2 heart indicating his hope (he and his partner)
Ace of spade mean death but also mean rebirth, it is like logo of hunter x hunter (X♦️X), 2 people die, 2 people resurrect, also mean 2 assholes (hisoka & chrollo)(komugi meruem)(gon killua)
Oh also in manga I read is translated solitare as a saying of self-love
I’m team Kurapika for sure for Hisoka’s sponsor, I think that’s the only narratively satisfying option as well considering they have been in contact before (surreptitious contact at that!) and the others don’t have any connection to Hisoka.
Def might be overthinking the 'Hisoka being fed info' aspect a bit - he's always had a knack for deducing abilities + nen types.
As far as who Morena is after, there's realistically only ab 3 possibilities:
1. One of Tserri's military friends
2. A bodyguard/servant to a prince
3.A member of the Justice Bureau.
A bonus option would be one of the other Mafia heads, but that's really it as far as people who dont know nen go.

I think Dogman is looking for a Beyond-cursed guard like Longhi, recruiting/killing these guards assigned to the 3 mafia-related princes is the fastest way to cause mass chaos, so Tserri's friends are the targets. Kurapika getting access to Dogman could be a key to discerning the user of Silent Majority.
Reading the other comments made me realize Morena already stated similar as a secondary goal.
To find out what the heily want we have to look at their short term and long term objectives
Their short term objective: get lots of kills for their soldiers to level up and wipe out the factions who want to kill then (phantom troupe, mafia families)
Long term goal is to destroy the black whale or anyone really
So what would they want? What are they lacking?
I think their looking for a win condition someone with the potential for perhaps mass manipulation on the black whale which would achieve both of their goals as they could manipulate people into walking into their meat grinder or use their civilian army to overrun the hunters and military
Some sort of mass coercion would definitely let them trigger a war! But Tserri's pals tell us their "civilian" status is already on its way to doing that... It's a better answer than I've got, though.
ALSO: I forgot to mention this, but Nobunaga hints at the Heil-Ly maybe having multiple objectives (something other than "kill everyone"), which supports my theory about them colluding with Nasubi/the JB. Could have plugged my Kaiser video again...

My giga crackpot theory building on your Ninth Page theory is that Chrollo might steal one of the Kurta eyes and transplant it into himself. The eye wouldn't actually let him see anything, but since it's permanently scarlet it would let him bypass the restriction on emperor time if he stole that ability.
I think Dogman is looking for a specialist, as you said the Heil-Ly has most of the nen specializations covered so they should be able to manifest most abilities they need but I believe Morena is their only specialist.
As far as what Prince could be Hisoka's benefactor I would think 2nd Prince Camilla and 7th Prince Luzurus could also be candidates. I feel like Camilla's personality sort of vibes with Hisoka and she's obviously well versed with Nen and has quite a few Nen users working under her, I wouldn't doubt they'd be able to surmise Halkenburg's ability required a group. Luzurus as a candidate is mostly based on his currently mysterious and unexplored background, especially with the theory he may be a sleeper Beyond-child.

I have a different interpretation of the 9th spot. We have never gotten any information about the person on the 9th spot in the Troupe (Shal could be 6th or 9th, but now it's confirmed that the 9th is vacant so Shal has to be 6th). That 9th spot, thus, was likely to be "reserved" for an honorary member, which would either be Sarasa herself or Sheila who left them after the incident.
Another speculation I have is Hisoka's hand in the card game. Let's just put aside the suits, if we assume each card is a kill, and the number of the card(s) indicates the "encounter", then it could be interpreted as the 1st hunt (ace) he got 2 kills (Shal and Kortopi), the 2nd hunt would be a miss, and the 3rd hunt he would take down 5 members of the Troupe. In that sense the suits would indicate how many member Hisoka would kill in a single battle (same suits same battles)?

That would be crazy, but I feel like one of the 4th princes friends is most likely. If they take Steiner the stakes would definitely be up and that could incorporate characters like Mizaistom back into the story. Speaking of which, Mizai has been doing a sorry job, the moment he doesn't have the hax chain he can't figure out nothing and probably close to 1000 people have died, many of which were abducted/ teleported, causing mass panic.

I JUST REMEMBERED A DETAIL ABOUT CHROLLO ASKING FOR CHAIN JAIL:
-The ability won't work on Hisoka due to him not being a PT member, reason why Judgement Chain didn't kill Chrollo once he told Hisoka that he had no Nen anymore, and I genuinely doubt Chain Jail can get enhanced by post-mortem Nen of a user who stole the ability.
So I'd bet it might be Steal Chain instead.

Doesnt it have to be the exceedingly rare nen exorcist type to follow along with the idea that excorcising the source of the nen beasts would destroy them all in one swipe. The only other thing that would make sense is they need a specialist of some sort for some reason. It doesnt make sense they would have to hunt for any other type as they would not be all that hard to find and they probably have at least one of each regular type already.
I have a weird feeling that chrollo is gunning for beyonds ability. Hes the only one i can think that could have an ability strong enough while also being someone you would know for certain is going to be on the boat. Hes also conveniently imprisoned and the conditions to steal can be met easier.
He is a famous guy on Tier 1, but I'm not sure how Chrollo could even know his ability or whether or not it'd be useful to him. Stealing Isaac's ability, for example, would be a waste of time cuz no one else can pray that fast.

The seed urn ceremony that created the parasyte beast is something the prince of Kakin who invited him could have easily told him. As for Halkenburg's ability, well we do know that Halkenburg recruited people from among his followers in the ship so Hisoka could have easily investigated it himself. Since he is on tier 1.
I dunno how much investigation he can do with no source of info. He's not getting line of sight on the prince's ability in action, unless he's Texture Surprising himself into a Halk guard or something. Nor is he going to overhear details about the Seed Urn Ceremony by listening around corners in the hallway.
Hisoka definitely noticed benolenov remember his perception is capable of determining ppl even in perfect zetsu under the right conditions and benolenov is using a hatsu to transform into hisoka which probably means his aura output is high rn if not in a complete state of ren
We don't know if he has to be outputting aura nonstop throughout the transformation. Was Illumi doing that as Gittarackur? He might just use the aura to transform and then it lasts however long it lasts.
@ thats true and we will never know for illumi because nen wasnt introduced to the viewers so we couldnt see aura i agree he probably wont need a constant out put but it also probably means he cant activate zetsu while transformed so hisoka most likely noticed him before he even noticed hisoka

Tho as hisoka states he's alone and likes things solo so I doubt he's sponsored by anyone or that he's posed as one of hulkenbergs private guard by ending one of them and learning the truth and getting bored
My go to theory is hisoka joined the benjamin group disguised as a private guard to get a chance at battling him but got disinterested when it was basically a weaker chrollo ability
Though I doubt it as he'd mention it so most likely he joined Hulks group and then bailed when he found out the truth of the matter
