Looping shifter is kinda cracked. Do you side other floodgate esc handtraps like droll/lancea and do the same play to continually blow out the opponents on their turn?
I more so try to stay just on shifter as it’s the strong discard hand trap in the format. Lancea and droll are really good but I wouldn’t main them due to more potential clogs and lancea conflicts greatly with shifter!
If drytron is heavy in the format or my local I would side Droll in order to try to take games 2/3 as the match up is quite dice roll dependent otherwise
It is actually a limited edition production from Pvramid. I love this mat and you should check out there store to see what they have. It’s a bit pricey and a bit to wait on but it’s worth it!
It’s really situation dependent but, at least at the time of making the video, certain decks couldn’t play at all under it and would pass. You can depending on the starter spam the board and/or use existing card to enable an OTK. Especially if you have chateau up
You are able to establish your usual board, just now peting from hand is turned off which rough but doable. You can also make a free 4 mat Zeus so that’s nice. When going second the ability to play without having to deal with an established board can be really nice and this deck is good at grinding anyway
@@niffum1851 Oh yeah, I guess that is doable. I was just worried about some of the detaching you do in a standard combo, as those materials would be banished, no? I’m guessing the end board is slightly different because of that?
@@chemnitz-sama6513 Now what you would do is essentially make the anti-nib route. The only difference is that you will banish dimension shifter from hootcake and when you summon messengelato you add promenade instead. You can then bounce hootcake if need be to hand on their turn with promenade/detached material from teacher and use teacher as a shuffle/monster effect protector for hootcake or her depending on the situation.
@@niffum1851 ahhh okay. I like it! Now Im starting to get why this is a good hand trap for this deck. Lol. 😂 Im loving all the content you’ve got. Thank you so much, it felt weird seeing people run Dimension Shifter when i usually end turn with a Sistart to protect my Madolche backrows and the lack of GY Madolche means lack of protection for her, so this how ones do it...... And the combo is much shorter than the usual combo.
I’m glad I can help! Being able to utilize shifter with Madolches can be an auto win, but the interactions to enable it can be confusing at first glance!
Guru Control player here i found shifter to be very wacky to shut down GY and combo abuse for 2 turns. At first i was adverse to using it but now i love the card too!
Yeah shifter is so strong vs the meta right now! I’m glad you have found success with it. The ability to make most decks just pass or scoop when you drop it makes it essential for rogue decks to run it if they can!

Thx 🙏 for the explanation, I can see how shifter is a good trade off if he is the only hand trap. The only thing you can’t do is otk under shifter, but at least you can setup a board, with a follow up.
Yeah shifter literally doesn’t let most decks play so it’s super strong. If you go second with it you gotta just hope you have the starter and play. If they hand trap it and that’s all you have you probably would have lost to that hand trap even if you hadn’t have dropped shifter. That’s the duality of madolche lol

teacher isn't a soft once per turn so you wouldn't be able to do that second combo you did with shifter because you already activate her first effect once in the combo so you can't activate it again during the end phase to put them both back. Which means that you would have to do it on their turn and then you wouldn't have prom to activate during their turn and youd be under shifter during your second turn.
@@niffum1851 yeah but if you drop it during their standby you wouldn’t be able to loop shifter because you would be under shifter too and no Madolche’s would hit the grave :/
You’d just do it each time on their stand by so they never have a grave unless they strictly stop teacher on standby. Madolche can definitely kill in 2 turns while both players are under shifter. I made this recording at 2am with no sleep LOL
@@niffum1851 yeah for sure madolche can kill them during your next turn if they don’t break your board! You could do it during their standby phase but I think the first combo is the most optimal. It plays into nib but not many people play nib in the main anyways. You can also just shifter before you do anything and search the prom directly instead of the ticket too to play around nib but then you don’t have ticket or the ability to loop back the shifter. I’d probably side out shifter going first anyways, because looping a droll or lancea can do just as much against drytron and tri respectively so you can just replace shifter with one of them. Great video though and nice mat!
