    5 Egg Yolks
    50g Granulated Sugar (1.8 oz)
    80ml Vegetable Oil (2.7 fl oz)
    100ml Milk (3.4 fl oz)
    120g Cake Flour (4.2 oz)
    1 tsp Baking Powder
    6 Egg Whites from medium-sized eggs
    60g Granulated Sugar (2.1 oz)
    Whipped Cream
    Blueberries
    Icing Sugar
    Angel Food Cake Pan (Ø 20cm/8”)
    * Bake at 170°C or 340°F for about 50 minutes. Chiffon cake is a relatively tall cake so cool it upside down to keep it from shrinking due to the weight.

    I was very pleased to see you make this recipe. My grandmother used to make chiffon cakes to help earn some money so my grandfather could afford medical school. Every Christmas I still make the orange chiffon cake from her cookbook since I'm the only one in my family able to make it without it falling. Most people where I live (in the USA) don't even know what a chiffon cake is.

    I love this recipe so much! The first time I made it, my grandpa liked it so much he asked me to make it again for the rest of my family to try. They loved it as well❤️. It wasn't too sweet or too bland. It was perfect!✨Seriously recommend this recipe!⭐️👌🏼

    I've done this cake so many time ( since I knew a recipe before seeing it here ) and I can guarantee that it is SO GOOD and kind of refreshing ? It's not the easiest to do but god is it worth it, I'm so happy to see it on this channel

    Why on every video do people comment about the pronunciation?
    It's hard to learn a new language, more-so to get rid of your accent.
    I think the pronunciation is cute and very understandable, anyway.

      Darius Abend I really don't see the point of commenting on other's accent unless you couldn't possibly understand what the person is saying. To me I can understand what francis was saying perfectly, but you know what I can't understand... Indian accent no matter how hard I try.. (no offense.)

      Darius Abend Agreed. I think the accent is superbly done. He's speaking English with a Japanese-French accent, and his English has been improving over the years. I do not expect it to be perfect, and it would lose a little charm if it was. I could maybe understand having a little difficulty understanding, but when there are accurate captions why complain?

    I just made it using this recipe except that I used 5 egg whites instead because I didnt want to be left with an extra yolk ad I reduced the sugar to 50g. Added some pandan extract as well. Its so soft and spongy! And it was real easy and quick to make.Thanks!

Two tips to making chiffon cake successfully are creating the perfect meringue with a stiff consistency and removing any pockets of air in the batter. Chiffon cake is a relatively tall cake so cool it upside down to keep it from shrinking due to the weight. Oven safe paper angel food cake pans are also available. If you don't have a large angel food cake pan, use the paper pans or muffin cups instead.     I'll definitly try this tomorrow, or the day after. Looks so good, and unlike many cakes from my country, low on fat and doesn't seem to be too much sugar either. Awesome. Not to mention how delicious it looks. :D

      Sara Schultz Yes, you would bake them for around 30 minutes instead of 50 minutes for large cupcakes (a six muffin pan), or until the internal temperature of the cupcake is around 208 degrees Fahrenheit.

    i baked this, it was a decent cake. Pretty Good! I suggest to add a teaspoon of vanilla extract for a better flavor.

    Dear Chef, I would suggest you try Angel Food cake sometime if you have not already done so. It is much like Chiffon, but uses no oil or egg yolk. It is so wonderfully delicate that some people will use a sturdy thread to cut it! A gentle touch and a serrated knife works as well. Please consider to try it for us some day as this relative of it Chiffon was so perfect looking

    What is the main differnce/differences between Chiffon Cake and Sponge Cake?
    They seem to share a similar recipe and a similar consistancy, despite the Chiffon Cake probably being of a slightly lighter consistancy, due to the separetely mixed egg whites.

      i don't think there are that much similarities. Their consistency is similar but I think the sponge cake is way lighter than the chiffon
