I graduated NPS last year. This video makes me happy. As an international student, I had a hard time sometimes, but people in NPS were very nice to me always. I miss Monterey and NPS so much. Thank you😂😊
I used to live a few blocks from NPGS back in the mid 1980’s and used to drive through campus to get to work. They didn’t have guard shacks at base entries back then. After living in Monterey for six months, I moved to Ventura County and worked at Naval Base Ventura County, both Port Hueneme and Point Mugu sites for 26 years in Civil Service.
Wow I was looking for a trip down memory lane and I found it. Loved your Hueneme video. I also spent three years at NPS 05-08. Thanks so much for making these.
I was stationed there after boot camp, arrived there march of 1959 @ the age of 19, was there 1yr.7 days , I worked in the recreation division, stood watch in the main building, went in to Monterey to movies, down to 17 mile drive, Carmel by the sea seaside, great duty, then to pearl harbor to my second duty , aboard USS Lipan, ATF-85 ,
I was stationed at FNOC Monterey California, I was housed on barracks at Naval postgraduate school. 1987 to 1989. It was great to see that old Barricks that is now offices.
Thank you for the tour. I worked there for 12 years in computer support and retired from there Oct 2003. I worked all over the base and other then the old hotel Demonte I saw little to recognize. Thanks again,
I think it depends on the country and how long you will be in school. I have seen Brazilians, Filipinos, Europeans and from Middle East that their families are with them.

Hello, we're going to Monterey next month...staying on base. Do you know of any antique stores outside the base?
John Herreria hi! I think I heard about antique stores somewhere in the area but I’m sorry I’ve never been visited any
@@lutztrvl6734 go to Carmel by the sea , lots of stuff there
Sorry, can the internacional students go with their familiy?
