"The zucchini, courgette or baby marrow is a summer squash, a vining herbaceous plant whose fruit are harvested when their immature seeds and epicarp (rind) are still soft and edible. It is closely related, but not identical, to the marrow; its fruit may be called marrow when mature.
Ordinary zucchini fruit are any shade of green, though the golden zucchini is a deep yellow or orange. At maturity, they can grow to nearly 1 metre (3 feet) in length, but they are normally harvested at about 15-25 cm (6-10 in)."

Did it try to grow crawlers like other ground/vine plants? And branch off in different directions?

May I ask how it pollenated? It sprouted fruit super fast. (I know...I grow zucchini myself but that's outside and I figured the bugs did the work)
This was a hybrid variety that didn't need pollination :)

I read from google that it's a good source of Vitamin C, so is it sour in taste?
pepper🫑 is a very good source of vit C and doesn't taste sour it's irrelevant
Zucchini are slightly sweet but close to tasteless. They are baked into breads and go well in pastas and salads as well
