I know nothing about hairdressing at all but I am 100% absorbed on this channel. I love the sound of the scissors cutting the hair. Also the speed of your scissor work is amazing- don’t know how you have 10 fingers left at the end of a days work.
Such a difference...you don't even notice the receding with this new cut, what a lovely guy as well. Weldone Dan as usual, your top of your game with hair styling and people skills.
Clients long hair- made him appear older and wee bit depressed. Clients short hair- all change, looking smart and more at ease in himself, confident. Hairdresser, clients haircut is superb, a positive transformation. Love it.
His hair at 44 years old is not common to see with that kind of density and really just a maturing hairline. Not too much recession. He may not realize that his hair at his age is way above average. Great job on the cut.

I'm also 44, and i agree that his hairline is not that bad at all for his age, i've seen worse in younger people.
Indeed. Andy: if you are not already, please do consider getting on at least a low dose of finasteride/dutasteride right now. If you look closely I think you can see that you are thinning a *little*, but your hair still looks great and this is exactly the right time to get on the meds to preserve your hair before it actually looks thin.
What a glow up! Not only does he look younger, he looks happier. I think this cut looks great and it goes to show how important the consultation is.
I think some type of coloring would soften his skin tone, hide some of the not so bad whites coming through! Agree anyone?

This is an incredible transformation.....off the charts actually. The cut lifted the face....erased the lines on the forehead, and took years off of this man. I'm glad he realized this was badly needed. Again.....a great cut and I loved watching. Thank you for sharing.

Andy has such a great attitude about his hair receding and starting to thin at the crown. I absolutely applaud his grace regarding how he is dealing with it. I believe his great attitude was rewarded by Dan's talent and ability to foresee the cut that works best for his client! Terrific job on this one. It changed Andy's entire appearance and brought such youthfulness.

Algorithms- had watched an American men’s hair stylist/ barber - not bad … nice transformation. BUT I subscribed to yours after listening to you as well as watching the transformations you’ve done. I appreciate and was extremely impressed with the time you took for your consultation with your client. The thoughtfulness that went into the planning prior to the work done with the client was unmatched. A person’s outward appearance and especially one’s hair style goes hand in hand with their self- esteem and their presentation even before they open their mouth to speak so… you are very sensitive to the client and helping them realize their wish. Your client is learning a great deal whilst sitting in your chair. For your viewers who are also barbers/ hair stylists I imagine it’s also a master class to digest! Fascinating👏🏻 Bravo

Honestly, if he had passed me on the street when he had his long hair I wouldn't have even noticed. But the short style? Wow. I''d do a double or triple take. Looks SO handsome. And when/if he starts to get a little gray I think that cut will make it look very distinguished.

DANG! This fellow looks AWESOME! His hair is so thick and truly, this is one of the best cuts I've seen (The Regal Gentleman only does the best!). I am quite sure he goes home with a big smile in his heart :). He has to know how good he looks. Being a woman I know if I've got the greatest haircut ever or... NOT! I have become addicted to this channel. I can't get over how Dan turns these average (or less) looking men into quite handsome "regal gentlemen." However, I must also say I am a bit biased. I have yet in my life (I'm 61) to see a man that I think looks better with long hair. But, Dan does have a special gift, I believe, of knowing what will look best on his clients. These transformations are simply amazing.
