I bet this made the soldiers feel happy for a little while. She was so wonderful. It was very cold but she still gave them a show!! She ended up having pneumonia after this.

@Nataliy Nekrasova good point! I had to translate it, but I think I got the gist of what you're saying. A lot of evil people used her and threw her to the wolves. The whole crime scene was a mess when she died. So many questions are left unanswered, with her death. It's very tragic.

She certainly sounds like she experienced the thrill of success, a bit of fame & recognition, but in the end, she valued a meaningful relationship, family & her art. It is heartbreaking she passed from cancer so young, but better to know a decent, fulfilling life than endure what Marilyn did. Thank you again for telling me about Maribel. What is shocking is that Maribel was 100% latina woman.
