Also questioning what the difference between chalk and tums isn’t far off from scientifically accurate.

the biggest plothole in existence is that charlie was grossed out by the idea of ingesting mercury

The best part is him saying “yeah it was gross” to being asked if he ate the sticker, implying he has a taste preference for different stickers.
Charlie eating literally anything that crosses his path is one of the best gags on the show. So simple, so stupid, I love it.
Mac: “If your stomach hurts, eat a Tums.”
Charlie: “What’s the difference?”
Mac: _extremely high pitched voice_ “ONE IS CHALK!”
Charlie has a point, though! The active ingredient in Tums is the same mineral used to make chalk, calcium carbonate.

There's an actual condition called "Pika" where people are compelled to eat inanimate objects; I worked with a kid at a transition house who would eat the TV remote if you left it with him, I still have a hockey puck that he ate about a third of it, and I mean ate, not just chewed away.

The paint is the best one. They should have just stuck with that. They should have dug deeper too and have things he secretly doesn't want people to know he eats.

I always thought that milk steak was something that Charlie made as a kid, just grab a piece of meat put it in a frying pan and fill it with milk, it's fucking gross but he was so proud of his creation that became his favorite food.
