HOW I EDIT MY INSTAGRAM PHOTOS
Hello and welcome to my channel!
I love to edit photos and it's really where you can take a photo from "Meh" to "Wow!". It's easily my favorite part of the whole creative process of taking photos :)
When it comes to my photo style I'd describe it as a bit vintage-y and dreamy, with quite a lot of contrasts and texture...and obviously lots of colors.
In this video I'll show you how I use Lightroom and VSCO to create the look I have in my photos, and talk you through and show the main things I tend to focus on.
Every photo is a bit different, but in general there are some things I always tend to focus more on like getting nice depth in the photo by creating contrasts and a dreamy vibe by bringing up the blue tones of the shadows.
I hope this video can give you some fun tips and tricks to try out on your own photos!

Ok so im REALLY sensitive, i get sad and scared by the smallest things, but i also bottle up emotions and act like nothing is able to hurt me. But your channel SERIOUSLY is all i need when i feel overwhelmed or anything. Im in LOVE with your style of your photos and videos. They literally make me feel the life, beauty and fantasy, and its all in one photo. Your channel in like a safe, calm room for me when im stressed. You're so inspirational! I'm a graphic designer, but I really want to get into self-portraits as a hobby! I haven't felt this excited about a project since I first started design. I'm starting with my iPhone and ordered a tripod and clicker. Can't wait :))))

Great stuff thank you, it's good to see how you edit your shots. Software is nothing without natural talent and you certainly have plenty of that. Excellent video editing skills too. I'm just dipping my toe into iMovie and researching cameras etc. Best Wishes.

Suggestion. You can try doing pictures at night. Then make more detailed video about it.

There seems to be a lot of the same options in Photoshop as in Lightroom. What is the advantage of using Lightroom?
Hello ! Lightroom has more options for the photography in general, and it's way more detailed than Photoshop :)

Yes I totally agree and it's definitely something I'm working on! I don't even notice it when I speak and then when i watch the clips back I get so annoyed at these little mannerism, thanks for pointing it out, motivates me to really try harder :)
