What i learned from this video - if you research lower tiers for free xp then you can really capitalize on those mission blueprints and use them to your advantage. Thanks quicky 👍
Yeah, even when stock it has pretty good mobility. And once you mount the 105mm gun, that 300 alpha is really nice. But those mini-turrets are just horrendous to deal with. Far worse than they *should* be; the way Wargaming programmed the gun depression for the Mitsu is as if the mini-turrets were at least twice as big as they actually are. Even given the other weaknesses, it would be a pretty fun tank if not for that.
@@RedXlVActually due to the recoil mechanism under the gun, it would collide with the turrets if the gun could depress further. However, this restricted depression extends way too far over the side, past 90 degrees actually, despite the turrets being in the front.
It reminds me of a Storm Trooper. The only thing it has going for it is mobility. The armor is just about useless, and the gun... well.. I'm sure you guys get the joke. lol
@@danieldaniel1210 It's trash because you have effectively no gun depression unless you're going in reverse and firing over the rear. If not for that, it wouldn't be *good,* but the high-alpha gun would at least be fun to play with.
QB advice is great. Daily missions are not real hard and those blueprints add up. It's nice having tiers 8, 9, and 10 100% researched with blueprints. People who been around for years can tell you today's grinding is a Breeze to what it used to be. Rock on Tankers 🤘😎
If you're using blueprints, use them on the lowest tier first because when you earn mystery vehicle specific ones, the game assigns them to the lowest available preferentially.
I got the Ju Nu and the Tiger 131 at about the same time and they're very similar. I'm on the Ju To now and holy smokes is that thing BAD. Everyone knows how to pen that thing, just aim at the gun
unfortunately unlike the Walküre, tht T7 has the sidescrape of a T5 tank. You can pen it in the tracks while sidescraping with the kv-2 premium ap... 130 pen...
Ju-Nu was excellent with the top turret & gun, it took probably 6 good rounds (with the help of those x5 multipliers from holiday ops) to grind through it.
I haven't gone down the new Japanese heavy line just yet. However, I do feel that they will have some interesting quirks that will be good for the game. The tier 6 has been doing well in all my games, with tier 7 doing alright. Tiers 8-10 have been doing pretty well in my matches. Most players piloting them get pretty consistent damage, as long as they have a half decent team in support. I'm excited for when I start going down the tree.
This really made me think about the old O-I exp. Tier 5 heavy, 100 tons, 40kph top speed, decent power to weight, 300 alpha gun. What an absolute unit of a tank, great overall and an even greater rammer. Imagine the same weight, speed, and alpha damage as the KV-5 but in tier 5. Fair enough it only had 75mm of armour all-round, but all the other advantages still made it quite overpowered. Maybe QB could feature a replay with the old pre-nerf O-I experimental.
Its looks like CCs get special matchmaking. I tried the T5 and just got tier 7 and tier 6 games (didnt saw a tier 4 in 12 games) and also got the bad teams (2-15, 4-15,1-15). Was so frustrated that I used my free xp and blue prints. Tier 6 same happens, all tier 8 and tier 7 games. Always nice to be BZ176 junkfood.....not And when I saw Quickybaby suffering in the tier 7, I think I will stop grinding this line.
@@Peter-dy9sp Take it from an experienced player, CCs do not get special matchmaking. You've simply been a bit unlucky, likely combined with the fact that world of tanks is no longer a game that's balanced around grinding and stock tanks. If you don't have full upgrades on a tech tree tank you will be at a disadvantage to everyone else even if you are top tier. There are very few exceptions but generally the german sniper TD line can be considered an exception since most of the tanks in that line are decent even when stock. I used to like the Ju-To on Blitz. It had an Improved suspension mechanic that would add a lot of terrain resistance and traverse speed, so you could almost reach medium speed and light tank traverse. It wasn't the correct build because you had to choose between that or extra -3 depression, but it was fun. Then they nerfed that mechanic because the Type 71 was way too broken and the Ju-To was hit in the crossfire, becoming just an average Tier VII heavy.
Even if the turret is not "invincible" like the T29 , the gun looks like very good , at the moment I have problem with the T8 heavy YO American tank with only 240 of alpha for T8 (the 105mm "top gun" is awful) so 320 of alpha at t7 with -10 of dep looks like very good!
Yep, I am a cheeky player. Whenever a new tankline comes out I grind the XP for the first one and refrain of playing the rest of the tech tree until I have unlocked them completely with blueprints from the daily missions. If you have all tanks researched you are guaranteed to only get blueprints for the tanks you still need to research. One of the perks of being a tank collector!
the tier 6 is ok, and the tier 7 is also ok. me and a friend grinded them today for a while, and consistently did either just under 2k or a little over 2k damage each, so they are very good if you play them smart and work with a friend.
Ju-To is really easy to nuke. That thing looks like a slice of cheese and it's just as easy to pen. I never thought I'd be saying this about the AMX M4 45, but it has a LOT better armor. Ju-To can't handle brawling against anything that knows just how easy the turret is to pen and to be honest, I find it a LOT harder to pen the Ju-Nu's turret than Ju-To's. Wargaming seems to hate heavies lately.
my favorite things about the t5-7 is they are real zippy, more than i was expecting. except they are very much sponges, the armor isnt very effective but at least have a decent amount of HP. im hoping the 8 is worth it

Working on tier 6 now and really like it so far but I do find it's lower glacious a bit on the weak side so I've been treating it like a T29. I did get the Christmas Heavy but I wanted to wait till the entire line came out so I could train the crew specifically for the heavy line as I don't have any yet. Yeah not worth, imagine how unbearable the game must be for new f2p players who are still learning the maps And when they do reach high tier like tier 8 and above we cant help but absolutely trash on them for playing bad
This is something that always bothers me about QB's reasoning and equipment. "The tank has low DPM, so I choose not to use a gunrammer." When a gunrammer is more effective on tanks with lower DPM. On the Mitsu, QBs DPM is at max 1483, but you would get better DPM with a no skill crew, no onigiri, and a gunrammer. And as QB has said in the past, DPM is incredibly important and one of the biggest aspects that raises the skill ceiling of a tank. Im not hating, im just a bit confused by the logic.
take note on the ju to, ju to was supposed to be played like a medium tank. Why? because it has good mobility, good gun handling, and its also a mid range support vehicle. I only find this out when i played the ju to on a medium tank style, and surprisingly worked and a win too. When i played the ju to with heavy tanks, its complicated. I get easily get destroyed while sidescrapping cuz the turret is exposed, remember the turret armor of ju to is rather weak.
Interesting, I played a couple of games in the tier 5 the first day and gave up. Too many in the game (4 or 5 on a side), and it just wasn't fun. I'm going to grind through for the tier 6, though that looks like a much better tank for gameplay. I will give the tier 7 a try too, mainly because I've researched pretty much every other line in the game and i am up for a new challenge. Good video, thanks for the useful info.
Tier 6 best of the three. Not even close. T6 Ju Nu is decently fast, good gun (no giant bloom), good dpm and ok armor for it's tier even with a giant cupola.
I played through the Tier VI one with the stock gun by misstake and didn't even suffer. It was quite enjoyable for me even if I fired a lot of gold. The only bad thing with the Tier VI is that I got ammo racked quite often in it. The big gun is even better on it as I found out after I realized my misstake and changed gun on it.
I remember when regular Tiger I was not buffed 5-10 years ago, no armor like Ju-Nu T6 and not super fast gun with only 240 of alpha. It was awful to play after the excellent "mini-Tiger T6" with the funny hybrid gun Panzerwaffe at T6 now with a low caliber of 88 mm it has 280 of alpha and super fast reloading and more hit points !
Ju-Nu got me a Top Gun and Steel Wall in the same battle. Averages a LOT of damage. It really does compete well against anything less than a M6 at tier. But get into Tier 8 battle, good luck
The Mitsu 108 is a "glass gun" and should be played more like a TD than a heavy, if you try to brawl in this thing you will be back in the garage VERY quickly. So far I have played about 10 games and killed an average of 2-3 tanks per game so far just sniping from mid to long range....
Somebody has to please explain to me why you shouldn’t run a gun rammer when it’s dpm is low? Doesn’t make any sense to me why don’t boost it if it’s bad?
NGL, the tier 5 and 6 were fun. The tier 5 I played in reverse most of the time as a support HT, and I've had surprisingly many 3K games as it's mobile too. Tier 6 was god awful stock, but super solid elite IMO.
Mitsu 108 got me first game of 2598 damage and 6 kills. With stock tank, stock gun. Second game wasnt bad either, 1700 damage but this time with top gun, fairly ok for Tier 5.
I have the heavy tank no VI and ju nu for tier vi in my garage. Honestly ju nu played better for some scenario compared to tiger. I even easily grind to tier vii ju to without even spending blueprint when reach a top gun and turret.
Advisory, QB, there's been an ammunition nomenclature change. We no longer use the terms "gold" or "premium" to describe World of Tanks shells. These terms are being replaced by the word "standard". AP, HE and where APCR appears as the least expensive choice will collectively be referred to as "the cheap stuff" (with the word 'stuff' being optionally replaced with a stronger word in appropriate venues). For example: "Hey, Dave, you can't shoot the cheap stuff at that target!" "What, do you think I'm new? This is World of Tanks in 2024, not 2018. All I've got is standard ammo."
There's a video somewhere on UA-cam where two people from London who had gotten in a car accident get out of their cars. And the one guy holding the camera yells "OI YA FOCH'N SAUSAGE"
Just a warning to all who skip the tier 5,6,7 for the tier 8. The tier 8 has the worst tier for tier premium rounds at 252 and the standard rounds are in the middle of the pack at 225. The armor is troll but the weak spots are present especially against tier 9 10 guns.
@1:09 Going into Tanks GG. Looking at the (0) stock Mitsu, (1) your loadout (I pressed all crew skills to help equalise this a bit) and a (2) 3rd loadout but using a gun rammer instead. Your reload time with vents is 12,13 seconds vs down to 11,15 seconds with a gun rammer. I think I would rather have 1.614 dpm (gun rammer) is more desirable that only having 1.484 dpm (vents) when you look at the following: Vents giving you a better aim time of 2,64 vs 2,69 (without vents) and better dispersion of 0,40 vs 0,41 (without vents) isn’t really compelling for me. Your moving dispersion values are also very similar or even the same (that Tanks GG shows no changes between with and without vents). Yes you gain 9 m more of view range when you pack vents and almost 0,2 more stationary camo but these values are not going to matter at low tiers. Will you notice the 0.1 seconds faster track repair time (when you have vents)? I doubt it. [This isnt a hate message against Will. Just hoping players will become better and realise when some equipment isn’t worth it. PS, these ideas are not mine. Do look at Tanks GG yourself to see what I am seeing.]
Honestly I agree with you, I often disagree with certain equipment choices he makes (such as spotting builds on a lot of medium) but in a way that’s the beauty of games in general, everyone can play in their own way and customize their vehicle to the way you want to play. Enjoy and have a nice day
Tier 8 is pretty good. One of the better tier 8 techtree tanks. Comparison with t29 and almost any tier 7 hevy is almost the same. T29 is just the best tier 7 heavy even now, even with the big gun.
Thanks for the review, because I am sick I've ended up skipping the grind and from these 3 it looks like I didn't miss out on anything thus far. I may get up to the Tier VI but the VII does look like a dog, Waiting for your evaluation of the other tiers.

Tier 6 was fun enough that I'm keeping it, I hated tier 7 so much I didn't even bother getting tracks or engine and used free exp to skip half the grind, it's a hulldown tank with a turret that doesn't really work.

You can see that Wargaming really didn't want to put a new O-I Exp. at tier 5. Man, that thing was busted back in the day. A 100+ ton tank should not go over 40 km/h with 300 alpha damage, who would have thought?
while the ju-nu is quite decent for the tier, the ju-to is a pain in the rear... the armor is weak, the dpm is meh, accuracy is bit better then meh and the mobility is okayish, but this feels more like a slow as and big as f*ck medium then like a actual heavy.
@17:18 It looks like when the Type 4 Ju-To is being shot in the turret and when you use your gun depression, your turret armour is only an effective 201mm where the AMX M4 45 has 212 pen. Maybe a low pen roll, it will fail but we are talking like 73% chance to pen. Lets be real about how good the AMX's gun is against the Ju-To's turret lol
it's not just the mantlet that is surprisingly bad, the turret cheeks, even with the spaced armor seem way too weak and anything I can think of can go through it easily. be it a high caliber HE or anything that has higher than 75mm gun
@@danieldaniel1210 If the gsme mechanics was to throw money at the game so you can spam better ammo then it either isnt a good mechanic or its pointless to even have 3 types of ammo. The olby goodthing about tier 7 is the gun, if you fully aim,you hit pixeles at great distances
QB : bad tank, not recommended.
*plays it first time gets 6 kills Mastery badge, 37 medals, 500,000K credits.
Even bad tanks can have a great game mate😏.
Funny for me the Mitsu was a dream and the Ju Nu has been nothing but pain so far... I also dont have the top gun on it yet either though.
Ju-Nu got me a Top Gun and Steel Wall in the same battle. Averages a LOT of damage. It really does compete well against anything less than a M6 at tier. But get into Tier 8 battle, good luck
How the hell does he still enjoy this game...props Quicky.
Got the Ace badge in the tier 6 the first day I unlocked it. It's a decent tank but is a hug gold shell magnet.
The Mitsu 108 is a "glass gun" and should be played more like a TD than a heavy, if you try to brawl in this thing you will be back in the garage VERY quickly.
So far I have played about 10 games and killed an average of 2-3 tanks per game so far just sniping from mid to long range....
The Mistu with the base gun loading gold is much better than the big alpha gun. Consider the grind with it if you can splash the cash.
Yeah, stock is pain for Ju-Nu, but once you get the gun, it's a very nice Heavy
That tier 7 reminds me a bit of the 'Tiger' from Saving Private Ryan.
For example:
"Hey, Dave, you can't shoot the cheap stuff at that target!"
"What, do you think I'm new? This is World of Tanks in 2024, not 2018. All I've got is standard ammo."
dawg man's been playin since like 2010 or smth. you have no right to dictate how he refers ammo types.
There's a video somewhere on UA-cam where two people from London who had gotten in a car accident get out of their cars. And the one guy holding the camera yells "OI YA FOCH'N SAUSAGE"
TY for showing the low tiers. Not every UA-camr do this.
Id say the Mitsu is just the continuation of what the Type 93 and Type 95 were at tier 3 and 4.
On Console with OI Exp i like to use the Stock Derp with HEAT which does like 360 alpha.
13:47 like Walkure from steel hunter
Enjoyed your Video QB but taking a few weeks off WOT after Christmas Ops so will be a while before I try the new Japanese heavies.
Hello Mr. QB tier 8 and 9 are the Best for me
Have a nice weekend
Skipped the tier 5. Will grind the tier 6 and then skip the tier 7 as much as possible.
The tier 5 is a beast, I’m not a great player but 1 on 1 this thing eats any other tier 5 heavy
I think I would rather have 1.614 dpm (gun rammer) is more desirable that only having 1.484 dpm (vents) when you look at the following:
Vents giving you a better aim time of 2,64 vs 2,69 (without vents) and better dispersion of 0,40 vs 0,41 (without vents) isn’t really compelling for me.
For mitsu, I will change the vents for IRM for half V-stab effect.
2:20 LMFAOOOO QUICKYBABYY
Thanks for the review, because I am sick I've ended up skipping the grind and from these 3 it looks like I didn't miss out on anything thus far. I may get up to the Tier VI but the VII does look like a dog, Waiting for your evaluation of the other tiers.
10:24 Bot detacted!!!!????
I think every one remember that QB made a video about that
Informative video, thanks QB
Will there be a video for T8-T10?
We startet at T6 and its getting better tier for tier.
We are at T8 right now and i like it.
was looking forward to this video thanks qb
As a new player to the game (started in Dec 2023), that tier 5 is devastating to go up against.
Thank you for all you do quacky babes
I started at tier 8 hated it, unless hull down the armour is paper and gun had bad pen. Tier 9 is good except for drivers hatch on front.
so far, Japanese new heavys are more interesting then UK wheellys, and Chinese TD. Hope the 2 new line are also as interesting as these ones.
i loved the tier 6 and 7
now im on 8 and its good too
Good compared to what?
@@catrionacolville2192 a good solid tier 8 tank 9/10
why do i have to compare it to another tank
@@catrionacolville2192
well i take it back the tier 8 is good armor wise but the damn penetration is uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuukh PREMIUM PEN IS 252 i cant pen AT15 he is orange
i was easly doing 3k dmg in tier 6 and tier 7 this tank i can do 2k will sweat and tears
tier 8 is trash
and OMG that gun handling, if you aim and shoot without waiting for the second circle you gonna hit the moon, gun is shit
i enjoyed playing with the BZ166 that people keeps saying its a bad tank
well BZ166 is better than type 57
Tier 6 was fun enough that I'm keeping it, I hated tier 7 so much I didn't even bother getting tracks or engine and used free exp to skip half the grind, it's a hulldown tank with a turret that doesn't really work.
The tier 7 looks like a tank from Valkyria Chronicles.
Thanks QB
I ammo racked 2 full health Ju-Nu with 2 shots one right after the other on it's side armor in Tundra heavy line with my KV-3. i don't know if it's just luck or it needs experimental hardening
It has fairly vunerable ammo rack, I did once in a while get damaged ammo rack when got shot in the side.
Random matches a bit dire. Goodthing I can finish all dailies and battlepass in Onslaught
Ju-Nu feels like a tier 6 Tiger - what gave that away? The 88mm KWK used Tigers?
You can see that Wargaming really didn't want to put a new O-I Exp. at tier 5. Man, that thing was busted back in the day. A 100+ ton tank should not go over 40 km/h with 300 alpha damage, who would have thought?
while the ju-nu is quite decent for the tier, the ju-to is a pain in the rear... the armor is weak, the dpm is meh, accuracy is bit better then meh and the mobility is okayish, but this feels more like a slow as and big as f*ck medium then like a actual heavy.
I like the look of them, ill play them for that at least.
@17:18
It looks like when the Type 4 Ju-To is being shot in the turret and when you use your gun depression, your turret armour is only an effective 201mm where the AMX M4 45 has 212 pen.
Is the role of an heavy to play on the ridge line?
I like the STB 1 and the new t10 is a fat STB 1, which makes it worth it, already.
I'd say that the line is not great, not terrible. Just really meh if someone sees any piece of your hull.
It doesnt matter with this game anymore since everyone spams goldammo in every tier.
You gonna cry?
@@danieldaniel1210 Are you 15? What did that comment bring to the discussion except tryin to start shit?
@@randomcommenter4719 you are complaining because people use the game mechanics clown
@@danieldaniel1210 If the gsme mechanics was to throw money at the game so you can spam better ammo then it either isnt a good mechanic or its pointless to even have 3 types of ammo. Just leave gold and high explosive.
Armors makes little difference when you can pen every tank with almost every tank.
Go be a dick somewhere else mate.
17:49 sounds like world of tanks is making it so that armour does mean fuck all in the game
I heard the Mitsu is called the Jappatog.
I mean, you said it during your streams they're good after t8
The Mitsu 108 is painful. The rest of the line is pretty fun though.
I am far from being a good player, just got the tier 5, and in 2 games have not hit a single shot with stock gun !, not a good omen.
The Ju-Nu and Ju-To are really the only good ones, cause the T8-10 tanks just don't work
gold rounds should cost 20k a round because everyone spams them ant heavies are just not worth to play because most of the tanks shoot gold even lower tiers the hevies looks like paper
Just got 1700+ base exp game in the Ju-To with 5.4k damage. Wotreplays wont let me upload it though :(
For now I’m at tier 5. It has quite a lot of HP and it’s good for trades with its Alfa. With 1:1 trades and don’t do that much but it’s enough for 1500-2000dmg and nice exp for first win. I won’t skip it cause it’s a quick one to jump to tier VI. I save free exp to skip tier VII cause I can’t wait to put my hands on tier 8 :D
You can pen those front turrets on the Mitsu 108 with KV-2 HE.
You’re trolling if you arent using the 107mm on the kv2. 152mm is dead after HE nerf unfortunately😢
@@kol3158 it's just fun to be waiting at a corner, a tank rolls around, and they backed up almost immediately.
Sure, you might do only about 150 damage but I still have fun hitting for 300-400 and occasionally some pens in the rear.
I play for fun and HE is fun to play once in awhile
@@buahcs Fair point, for fun I agree. But if I were to grind it again and get to the next vehicle as fast as possible id go for the 107
@@kol3158 yea I'm not in a hurry to get the SU-152, I just ground the KV-2 for fun
@@kol3158 iirc I was grinding IS7 line, I had KV1 and decided I might as well get KV2 for kicks and giggles
Nice Qb What is the camo on the Junu ???
Tier 7 is really not great. My first game was sand river. I got proxyspotted by two AT8s, tier 7 gw tiger? penned me for 370! damage, fv304 for 120-170dmg and it was hard to hide. Then both AT8s died and i lost 1vs1 against hulldown t25/2 - i failed to snapshot him, he always had first shot advantage and penned me.
I like the tier 6 so far, but not going any higher!
Every new heavy is OP in the beginning and then after a while, WG nerfs them.
What the... *SHAVED!*
