Jeez, I built that FROG Shackleton as a kid back in the 1960s. No painting, just "slapped it together" with Testor's glue. Not a bad plastic model for the time, but those "battleship" rivets gotta' be sanded off for making a more realistic model from the old kit. Still have one in the box (same box as yours) and plan make it right this next go at it. For the longest time this was the only Shackleton kit out there until Revell-Germany and Airfix independently came out with their "light years ahead," superior, "tail dragger" landing gear Shackletons.
