I just got mine in today! It's even better than expected! In my order notes, I asked nicely if they could swap the clip to the other side (for right pocket forward wave) for me since it's common for Ti and Al scales to get marked up by - but I wasn't actually expecting them to do it! I received a sealed and shrinkwrapped knife with the clip on the right side! Amazing! Cavol just made a customer for life! This thing is beyond cool.
Thank you so much for this! I stumbled upon this knife by accident this morning while doing some last minute Christmas shopping on Amazon. I immediately searched UA-cam to look for a review. I've been collecting for close to 30 years and my niche is waved/pocket-opening k-bits. I just purchased the dark grey version direct from Cavol for less than $250 shipped with the coupon code. I hope that it lives up to my expectations!!!
Thanks for your choice. I really hope it will meet your expectations. By the way, if you are like the wave opening knives, please check Eleforge Talon. It is some kind of compression style lock with extra secure feature. Kevin has review on his channel BR, Olex O.SHO
The way you explained it makes perfect sense. I've heard of people denting the 'button' doing those tests. However I still prefer a crispy detent. It's a really well thought out, cool piece.
First, I love the look of that knife even though karambits don't usually appeal to me. Second, I don't doubt he did something different with that design, but the blade locking against the stop pin can't be it, pretty much every button lock does that. Maybe I misunderstood that bit?
Hi! I somehow thought I had replied to you, but it seems the comment didn’t get posted. So, my conversation with Kevin was about the feature of the button lock where, when closing the knife, the blade hits the button’s stand every time. If the user closes the knife with a flick of the wrist, the impact on the tiny button part is even stronger-velocity multiplied by mass, etc. ;) Especially for you, I’ve posted on my channel what I showed Kevin ;) Thank you, Olex O.SHO
@@LeftyEDC Oh, that’s totally my bad! :) My full name is Oleksandr, but it’s quite long for people abroad, so I decided to shorten it to Oleks. However, this version turned out to be a bit unusual, and almost everyone kept dropping the “s.” What I should have done was go with Olex (aka Alex)-a much simpler and more familiar option. Looking back, it’s clear I didn’t think it through enough, and here we are! So yep, lesson learned-this one’s on me! 😅
@@nextknife237i don’t think you told me more than your name. I just shortened it to Olek. Based on what we do in the states this made sense haha. Lets go with Olex. 😂

That's a siiiiiiick blade, I dig it!
Thanks
been enjoying the crap out of the Kobra! Cavol did an excellent job with Olek's design!
Vu! Thank you!
Not my cup of tea but its a cool design and how that blade tucks into the ring like it does thats pretty cool great video man 👍
Like Soo, How do you reverse the pocket clip? 😂
Yes, it is reversible. Tried to make is simple and without filler tabs…and visually laconic
I am digging all of them I am different and ok with it
Thanks Kev
Not a fan of the knife, but I give the Dad joke full props.

Yea im sure my explanation sucked. Ill see if he can come and explain it to you 😆
