I want that Vosteed badly!!! I love my mini Corgi but I like this even more. I'm just waiting and hoping they release s model with better steel. I also wish they would make the front flipper tab the same as the one on the back/top. Or just put that same type on the back/regular flipper tab right on the top/center like, arguably my favorite production knife every, the Justin Lundquist UrbanEDC Baby Barlow
That orange Volsteed knife you had in this video is called the Volsteed Corgi V. I just got the exact same version that you have, and I absolutely love it. I really really like the Vanchor lock it uses💯🔥 It only costs $79.00, and it's absolutely without question my pick for 2024 budget knife of the year👍
@BJ-69 A standard Benchmade Osborne 940(green anodized aluminum handle/S30V blade) currently costs $216.00, and this new Volsteed Cordi V costing $79.00 has significantly better quality control/fit&finish than the Benchmade Osborne 940. I personally consider any pocket knife under $85 as a budget knife.
@sethprice241 That's your definition of a budget knife. In the knife world, $79.00 is really not a lot to spend on a knife. Also, getting a knife with a new incredible locking mechanism like the Vanchor lock for $79.00 is cheap. For example, I just got in the mail earlier today my Anso Toko(blue anodized titanium handle/blue anodized hardware&cljp). It's an in-house shop built button lock flipper knife made in Jens Anso own small knife shop in Denmark. It costs me $875.00 USD. So, I would definitely consider a $79 knife as a budget knife.
@sethprice241 By your logic, I could then say that the $5.00 Ozark Trail Walmart knife that's similar to the Benchmade Bugout is a true budget knife and that a $36 Volsteed knife by comparison is expensive and therefore it's not a budget knife🤔 I consider basically any knife $85 and under as a budget knife👍
Thanks for sharing and all your doing for the community Jared!!! I’d like to wish you and Kara and your families a Merry Christmas 🎄 and Happy New Year 🎆🎊!!
I got that Corgi…really like that lock. Though I fussed at Cavol prices the first two knives they released. I ended up with them and enjoy them. Want that last one. Thanks J. Cheers
What’s your opinion on the arcform theory M390 blade? Just bought it on sale for like $180ish? Worth it or should I just go for the Spyderco endura m4 & vosteed thunderbird m390 for around the same price?
And here I sit, with a sore thumb, from playing with the Misdemeanor literally ALL DAY, using mostly the front flipper to try to get the best sound. Addictive. Which these videos also are. Gotta try that corgi. I don't think that anything can be more perfect for me than a budget knife with 14C and Aluminium. Makes me hope that that recent Civivi button lock knife will hold up well, even with the potential stop-pin problem.
Not gonna lie. The Raphael looks like a valorant knife skin and i just want to get it for the novelty. Sure there are probably other knives kind of like that but i would need to get them at a gas station. Im also really pumped about the new Corgi. I wanted the original but i heard the lock was a bit dodgy. The Vanchor lock on the new one sounds amazing. Only downside i see is its the size of a mini corgi and not the fullsize.
It wasn't the lock the og corgi had issues with. It was the placement of the spring again the metal insert. After about 100 flips it works it way out. All of them everytime. Neat lookin, fun fidget, but crap design and very disappointing for $62. And vosteed, they'll just send u another that does the exact same thing and continue to sell em. Left a bad taste
I don't like how that resin dissected knife plaque was made with resin that has an ugly yellow tint to it, making it look similar to the color of ultem🤢🤮 I don't understand why they didn't make this knife display plaque using clear resin🤔 That's yellow tint makes the resin look like it turned yellow do too people chain smoking and that nicotine tar discolored it😬
You really don't like the idea of a vanchor lock on the corgi? It literally solves all the issues with the original and gives it a snappy detent on top of that.

That’s a great knife, I want the Reate made Boker Barlow that they did with K390 steel. Knifecenter has them for $250 right now.

Wouldn’t say $80 should be considered budget 😂

I got the Acorn for $36. That's a budget knife.

Looks like you can swap the scales on the vosteed and reverse the clip that way
The purpose of the tanto is scraping. Like scraping a gasket off a car part. I haven't found any other practical use for it.
NO!
Not every knife needs unneeded holes in the face side.
Thanks Jerad

Hey jerad. What do you think of spyderco's magnacut? I plan to order the new para3 black salt magnacut. Would their magnacut be around 64 hrc?
I want the Volsteed but im holding out for maybe a different blade shape maybe a sheepfoot or wornclife blade
T8s should be mandatory 😊
I don’t see t6s as a small nitpick. We all wish they were 8s, so I’m glad you keep calling it out.
The bounty hunter vibe on the lothar I fucking love! Will order one for sure

I just picked up a manix 2 in s30v with black g10. When closing it the stock clip digs into my pinky pretty bad. Is that a common issue/complaint?
New background is throwing me off lol
Merry Christmas

@@mrmouse-ol9pw the trek lock had issues in general i have seen failures on both the corgi and the thunderbird on multiple occasions/reviews
I think it is the Corgi Cub ..! ^^
Thanks
Heads up Jerad, the vosteed link isn't active.
Thank you
I want the Corgi V and the Raphael so bad. Need a sugar momma lol.
Nothing worse than a "gas station " knife😂 i know exactly what he's talking about and what about those "flee market " knifes 😅

Settle down there tactical tommy
Trash list brah.
And?
So you agree!

So if you won a GAW of these knives from Jared, i would expect you to give them to another viewer since these knives are apparently trash to you 🤷♂️
