I definitely think that having your vlogs be reflective of where you are and being released in chronological order is a great path forward...keep up the good work !
Thank you for the input Rob! Currently debating doing just most recent from now on versus alternating most recent and video from a previous destination. Either way we will be sharing a lot more of our current trip. Thanks for the support!!
Thank you for the comment and feedback! I can definitely do a budgeting/spend video and/or walk through the first 6 weeks of our trip which we spent exclusively in the Balkans. Which would be more helpful or what exactly would you like to see? In my experience, the variable costs are the trickiest. It's sort of hard projecting/forecasting food expenses and guessing what transportation/travel expenses are going to be.
Interesting about Mexico City vs Europe views. Truth be told, I discovered your channel because of my planned trip to Mexico City, and I've enjoyed watching the Mexican series.
Thanks for the comment and feedback! I'd love to do a Mexico (City) vs Europe views or what I prefer in each one. I will definitely do one maybe at the end of this trip? Anything in particular you'd like to see or hear? This is the title i had previously thought of "'Living' in Europe vs Mexico and other thoughts". I think you are definitely in the majority 😅 I think the bulk of my viewers/subs found my channel planning for their Mexico City trips. I am hoping to retain as many people as possible and bring them along for Europe now and Asia next year!
@@intristang great idea! Not super interested in Europe, but asia is fascinating. I travel to Thailand often. Looking forward to seeing more videos. Cheers 🐧
@@intristang actually for your Europe series I'd love to see more videos of getting to your destination's. Like plane and train reviews, what food is served on these travels and, the good - the bad - the ugly during transit 🐧
And when you make it back, would be super interested to see which major airline you travel back with... Again, food, service, amenities, quality of seats 😎🤘🐧
Discovered your Mexico videos as looking for an adventure and it inspired us to travel there recently, to spend a few months in CDMX - affordable city with great food scene, culture and friendly people etc. Also close proximity to the US. I would love to learn more about how you budget and what apps you use to track spend. With regard to Europe content, you should stick with it....early days yet. However, you may want to consider how many people are looking to travel to specific countries/regions vs Mexico etc Supply/Demand. Anyways, keep up the great work.
Always makes me so happy to see comments like this 😌 Bummed we didn't overlap! Yeah, I would love to do a standalone video. I've never thought about sharing "how I budget" but there are definitely some inputs I haven't thought about, so thanks for asking that way. Anything else in particular you'd like to see/hear me talk about besides how I budget and which apps? Appreciate the support! Cheers
Thanks so much! And, yes, I hope I have gotten better about the closeups lol. I know for awhile there in the beginning I had some serious issues! Thanks for the comment and support!
How in the world do you not have thousands of views for each video? I subscribe to several trip vlogs and yours is at the top when it comes to being informative and interesting.... I bought in heavy on vti's in the mid 180's, hope you were able to get in at a similar time...
Hey Philip, thanks so much for the comment! Appreciate you supporting the channel and my videos! Hopefully I get to consistent 1k view videos. That is fantastic! I missed that dip and the best I've bought lately was ~$192. I'm keeping my eyes open for the next dip!
"If you wanna make God laugh tell him your plans" No wonder!!! It's cool you mention Fresno every now and then(Go Bulldogs). I don't live there anymore(thank God!!!!) but that my home town. Hope your feeling better.
Go Bulldogs! And LOL. I am feeling much better. It has cooled off a ton...today's high is 79˚F. The 100˚F days will be back in 10 days, but I'll enjoy the coolness while it lasts!
This is a great Q and one I should probably address in its own video. When I decided to quit or when I actually bit the bullet and put in notice? To give you a different answer, based on my current spend (and using the 4% rule), I only need a $330,000 portfolio to support my current lifestyle
