I just bought the LED keeper and it worked great! I watched your video and it was very easy to use. I was going to throw out a string of C9 led lights because I couldn't fix them. I used the gadget and fix it! It just almost paid for itself on that one string. Thanks.
Oh, that's awesome to hear, Gitar! It's so cool to hear you got it going and saved your light string! This is one of the best tools around! Merry Christmas to you.
I wondered how those pods worked to keep the lights going without issues. I didn't realize there was a resistor in them. That's freaking smart! Thanks for the info.
I wasn't feeling well, then your energy and excitement made the difference. 👍Thanks for all your 2021 Christmas content ❗ I can't wait to see what you have planned later this fall.
Awesome video! I’ve got a string with a bad section. I’ve used the LED Keeper at every bulb and they all seem to be working.. the only spot that seems to have issues is at the final bulb in the run (a 3 wire bulb). Would you recommend replacing the socket on that one?
Hey there, Matt! Well, that would solve the problem. But first, I would grab my flashlight and check the interior of the socket. It is likely you either have a bit of corrosion in there or perhaps you have a small piece of something that is keeping the bulb from making a proper connection. Also, check and make sure that bulb's two cooper prongs haven't worn off or perhaps one has become too short to make contact with the socket's connectors.
Hey, Braydon. I did an episode on that on Patreon about a month ago. Simply ran out of time for this season and will bring it back for this year's CIJE series.
I have a LED net lights multicolored 120 bulbs from Sam's club and strangely enough a few bulbs light halfway and the rest of them are all off? Any suggestions ? would greatly appreciate your help!
Hi there! It sounds like you're dealing with a frustrating issue. For unevenly lit LED net lights like yours, I recommend trying the LED Keeper tool. It's designed specifically to help fix these kinds of problems by locating and repairing faulty bulbs or connections. Check out how it works here: ua-cam.com/video/riGJQjnZ3eE/v-deo.htmlsi=P4WQxjNMUGmKshD2 I Hope this helps get your lights shining bright again!
I have a question please. I have a sting of lights like say 20 from the plug are working then like 35 (because I took every single one out-led keeper isn't working all the way) were out then the rest were working. Now a socket had a wire come out in the non working section, so I did exactly as you did and it didn't work. All the lights are good unless one went bad after being put back in the out section. Any ideas? Thanks!
Hey there, AH. Let's fast track this for you. Call 888-858-2548 and see if they can't get you fixed up quickly. If I understand you problem correctly, it sounds to me like you have multiple failures. Last year, my record for one string was 7 bad bulbs in a 100 ct mini light string. Or you have a short prong that isn't making a complete connection.
What do you mean by "shortages", Divindra? If they are flickering on and off when you move the string then you likely have either a bulb that is not seated fully into its socket or one bulb has a missing or short copper prong. This video might help you: ua-cam.com/video/HkXRk7NsUpo/v-deo.html
No, Paramos, you can use the PODs for incandescent lights too. But the LED Keeper is just for LEDs. The Light Keeper Pro (amzn.to/3vjOdFc) is the tool designed to help fix incandescent lights.
That's actually very rare, T. In my experience, when the entire line doesn't work, it is usually due to multiple bulb failures. Most times fuses don't fail unless there is an energy surge or heat issues. With that said, I do test the fuse if I can't find a second bulb failure.
Hey there, Thom. So, two things. One, some lights cannot be cut to length and destroys the lights when you do so. Two, while it would likely nullify your warranty on the lights, you should be able cut them to size and then heat shrink the end of string to waterproof it. The only caveat would be if the lights have a rectifier on them. If so, that cannot be cut off. All strings with rectifiers have to have them to work.
Hey there, Janet. I did not film the finished product. It turns out the reindeer take $100 in bulbs per deer. I didn't foresee that being a thing. I discussed that in a live last year. I will likely complete it and have that in this year's Christmas In July Extravaganza series.
This is the first video I've seen about actually using the pods to fix corroded sockets. The Keeper is legit!
The pods are indeed legit!

Wow that’s a cleaver rig! So neat and you made it look so easy. Thanks Charlie!
Thank ya. Shelly! I do love this device

They do indeed. They are designed incredibly well
I wasn't feeling well, then your energy and excitement made the difference. 👍Thanks for all your 2021 Christmas content ❗ I can't wait to see what you have planned later this fall.
I hope you get to feeling better, S. Memphis. Thank you for those kind words. I do have a lot planned for this year. Here's hoping you get well!
Love how you show the difference between two and three wire lights.
Thanks, Wonderland. There is a bit of a difference in them.
@@ChristmasOnCrestline Hey, didn’t know if you saw the change but this Steven from Christmas in Summerville this is the new name
I didn't catch that. Thanks for the heads up, Steve.
@@ChristmasOnCrestline Yeah, we were going to stay with name and ran into a issue that wouldn’t allow us to use name anymore.🥴

Charlie, can you do a show on fixing icicle lights. I've been losing set after set of those and have not idea how to go about fixing them.
I can indeed. I have that slated for release in this year's Christmas in July Extravaganza. series and for Patreon in March.
thanks. very helpful
Glad it helped! Have a Merry Christmas season!
Hey Charlie how is the wind field collection coming along haven’t seen much on that
Hey, Braydon. I did an episode on that on Patreon about a month ago. Simply ran out of time for this season and will bring it back for this year's CIJE series.

My Christmas light is giving shortages, what should I do?

How to fix NET lighting for LED keeper
I'm planning on that one and icicle lights too. Good call.
Nice good choices!
I’m assuming the fuse is changed out when the entire string doesn’t work
That's actually very rare, T. In my experience, when the entire line doesn't work, it is usually due to multiple bulb failures. Most times fuses don't fail unless there is an energy surge or heat issues. With that said, I do test the fuse if I can't find a second bulb failure.
How can I cut my LED icicle lights to fit my roof line?
Hey there, Thom. So, two things. One, some lights cannot be cut to length and destroys the lights when you do so. you didn't show us your finished reindeer project. If you did I missed it

this is just a commercial!!!!! no help whatsoever !!!!
While I appreciate the exclamation points, Domenic, perhaps you could articulate what your having trouble with and we can get you fixed up.
