I have the Zian Aquila kite in 10m, I read that Zian rebranded to Ventum, is the excite kite the same as the Aquila? I love my Aquila for how responsive it is when turning, it’s so fast!
Yes, you are right, you will find the Zian founder under Ventum now. I think he did quite a bit improvement, especially the low end! give it a try! Xplore is the equivalent of the Aquila.

Yes, I did, it is worth buying a kite from me :) #reputation! I dont want to unveil all my secrets haha but i got a decent price on them, they kept the price well. I feel that kite price is not often going under 6-400 eur unless they ancient or really bad. SO as the price gets compressed it has more resistance - wont drop below a certain point. I just checked some other kites on the web from 2020 - they come 700- 800 with a (click!)bar that is less good of a deal. I am happy with the value hold - apparently in Netherlands it has a good market!
@@EpicGust true. It will be difficult to find a 9m from 2020 of any brand at below 600-500. So you are right that if the starting price is way lower, the reselling price becomes quite attractive in the end plus you used a new kite for a while.
Short answer - yes absolutely! THere is no drawback, and people will come to you asking what it is! :)) #makingnewfriends :) Long version - I recommend not to get into one brand or one price range too religiously, so many riders do this mistake, missing out on great kites! This is definitely one of them! The XCITE has a similar shape to a Duotone Dice, a Cabrinha FX, or Fone Bandit. If you like fast kites, you will love this too. TBH I don't mind the price being lower. Quality is the same :) and knowing that they know and take care of you at a small brand is worth more to me than to own a big brand kite and receive no or late reply on customer service and stuff like this in case that's needed.
I am glad you asked. Instead of the 12 i have now an 11 xcite V2, and a brand new 7 and 9 too :) SO i sticked with them. To be fair, was fancy to have North for a season or two. Try as many as you can!:)
@@kntimmermans slight AR change towards higher aspect I feel. Pretty similar tho. I love it and today I tried th V2 xplore and man I was blown away. Big air kite haha, I really like it. Simple and pulls a lot. Great for boosting. xcite loops much faster tho.
Doesnt have to be but it is not bad! It is like the new car smell :)) The canopy itself when it is fresh, brand new, it is very cryspy, making that fresh crisping sound when you fold it. Like a sturdy plastic bad. After years of flapping, sun and aging, this crispiness goes away. Eventually it will be soft as a blanket. When it is too soft it is prone to braking.

I bought one , performance is shit compared to duotone / north … just slow kites. Looks are ok
