Very well executed 🙏🏻🙌🏼🙏🏻🙌🏼🙏🏻🙌🏼 It’s very nice to see a video where a kiter knows his limits and respects the power of the nature. Getting aware of the extreme storm kicking in, heading towards the beach and ejecting the Chicken Loop Quick Release while still being in shallow water, to make it even safer 💪🏼 If all kitesurfers reacted as smartly and swiftly as you did, accidents would surely decrease significantly.
Yeah well I wasn’t there so I can’t assess, but heavy winds can turn into storms quite suddenly. It’s a calculated risk when winds are onshore. Lightning on the other hand is something I am less comfortable with. If I see lightning, I am heading out.
Those conditions were a good thing for him to be in, it was a learning experience and it looks like he handled it good. What is actually embarrassing, are people putting others down.

Maybe, he was finding out his limits!
just wondering, it seems you still could have used your depower line? Why did you not first try to depower before heading back?
well anyway, good to have released it so quickly. i tend to wait too long before wanting to pull the safety 😜
@@sebas0608459 wind probably spike too hard
what size kite was that? looks like a 40+ knot squall
8m, it was around 50kn, which isn't that much, but I couldn't stop anymore and would have crashed into that other kitesurfer on the beach.
BE the dandelion puff! ❤ 🌬️
Or... Know your limits and not venture out in a storm in the 1st place?

What is so special about this clip? Thought you would secure the kite without any help.
Anyways, good that nothing serious happened to you. Stay safe!
I just wanted people to remember that pulling the safety is always a option. Also that guy in the beginning that jumped, didn't come down anymore :)
