  • In this video, I'm gonna show you how easy it is to make the one of the bests and simplest drinks ever made... A Traditional Pineapple Breveage called Tepache! It's sweet, crispy, funky, and delicious drink. That has a ton of probiotics to support the gut.
Here's the list of ingredients you need:
1 Ripe Pineapple (be sure it's not overly ripe!)
3 piloncillo or 2 1/4 cups of brown sugar (depends on how sweet you want it to be)
    2 cinnamon sticks
    4 pieces cloves
    4 peppercorns
    4 liters water

Glad you just used the "traditional" ingredients. Too many crazy americans are adding an assortment of bizarre ingredients, thinking they are being cutting age. Nice video and a great glass jar. Hope you have more videos in your plans. Saludos de 1 Boliviano.!!!!

This looks so good! I might consider trying it out sometime if my mom will buy us some pineapple. I'll let you know if I do end up making it, and I'll give you our feedback.

Apologies for the delay! I encountered some technical difficulties that prevented me from responding sooner. It seems your Tepache has thickened into a syrup-like consistency, indicating spoilage. Surprisingly, Tepache can spoil this way due to contamination. Mold on the surface is another common cause, which can occur when not stirred daily. I'll be releasing an update video soon with more detailed information about Tepache and so on. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience caused.
If you have any more questions, please let me know!

I like this tepache recipe the best, because you don't have to measure out any sugar, you just throw in the cone instead! Great!
I'm just wondering what the difference is between air sealing the tepache jar like in this recipe, and just covering the jar with a breathable cloth?

Oh! That is a good question! Firstly, thank you! I’m glad you enjoy the video. Do you mind if I hold that question! I like to use this on the next video where I’ll explain and compare different ingredient to make Tepache
