I did it! I enrolled into the medical billing & coding program Feb 14, 2K20. I love this school.
I'm currently in the hospital for a sickle cell crisis. I had been feeling pretty bad & in a lot of pain mainly since March. My grades despite the pain are great. My lowest grade I believe is a C.
I've been in the hospital since May 25th & the staff told me to simply focus on getting better. Also the other students rally around me and say positive things to me on facebook. We all stay connected on Penn Foster's student & alumni facebook page.
It's just amazing to see my comment from 3 months ago saying I want to enroll etc & now here I am in May saying I did it!
I would def encourage anyone who wants to go to this school to do it! You will not regret it! I promise!

I’m in the program as we speak and it’s been 3 weeks and I’m half way done you really can finish much faster than what they suggested it would take.
I enrolled in this course a couple days ago. So far I love it. Right now I feel like it's so much reading and taking notes but I'm getting through it.
How long is the program ?

I'm signing up for this! I can't wait!!!!! I have sickle cell so I'm in a ton of pain on a daily but I know this is something I can do since its online!!! It'll def give me a huge sense of accomplishment!!!
We would love to have you join us as a student! We have many students with health challenges that find our self-paced study convenient for them to be able to manage their care without having the pressures of a classroom.

Hello Desiree! This program is designed to prepare you to sit for the Certified Professional Coder examination offered by the AAPC.
An "A" for apprentice is attached to their certification until they have 2-3 years of experience (Or a letter from their employer stating that have worked in the industry for the last 2 years). Hello, La Cheryl! Our program does include some physical textbooks, however, the course is an online program of study; the majority of your learning materials will be digital.

@Penn Foster do have to renew my medical billing and coding certificate after completing this course
@@latricehylton8093 I wouldn’t think you’d need to renew a certificate, but you would need to renew certifications (CPC for example).
