Gday, I have the creality ender3 v2 neo coming, never used one before but this video has been super helpful to see the basics, thanks for sharing, cheers
@@kiruoful so far I’ve found it easy to use, im using Cura to do the slicing and using PLA, I don’t know much about filaments yet, still have some learning to do…
Never used a 3d printer before and your videos have, so far, guided me through. Your technique for levelling seems a little bit different than the official Creality video but it seems you both follow the same steps but in a slightly different order.
I see different ways of levelling in differente videos. Like some set the Z offset prior to adjusting every corner. And the auto levelling as the last step.
The funniest comments on these reviews is "I wish the filament holder was on the side" and on others, they wish it was on top or the other side. Nice review, friend.
I follow all the steps right up until I have to tighten the gears to level and I have tightened them all the way and I'm still not even close to having it touch the paper and my z axis is at 0 after using auto home
The instructions worked, but I have used both an Anycubic and a Creality with auto levelling, and I wonder why Creality even bothered to put auto levelling on their printer. You basically have to do all the same steps you would do with a normal Creality printer to level it, even with the auto levelling. With the Anycubic, you just auto level and set your Z offset and your done. The whole point of Auto levelling is so you don't have to do all that stuff. It baffles me.
Jesus.. a few failed starts, and it only then occurred to me that the auto-level isn't perfect and I need to level it at least once.. I think I'll do it a bit different.. namely, if Z stepping is such a concern, I don't see why one wouldn't just use those movement options to move the printhead roughly over different points on the bed. Might just take a little longer, but I think being careful over fast is better here anyway. Gonna give that a shot.
I've just purchased this 3d printer a few days a go. I'm having a lot of trouble with it also new to 3d printing been watching a lot of your films on 3d printing. I do have one question to start if possible, is the bar that the goes up and down when you DO the leveling suposed to move up as you print automatically or do you have to do it manually. So far I've been having to do it manually on the screen I've only managed one successful print I also have found out the hot end was oozing filiment aswell and cloggin the nozzles so I've taken this off ordered new parts I literally got it from Amazon few days a go. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
when i turn the disable stepper on it just makes the novel go down and its always touches the bed even when the bed is all the way down and i dont know what to do. some pls help me!!!
My printer keeps wanting to fall when i disable the stepper motors. How do I move x and y without moving z? If I just bump into the printer, the head falls down. It sucks.
After 3 prints the printer have suddenly started jerking and moving way to fast between lines/extrusion, causing insane layer shifts. I went back to all standard settings I tried reinstalling the creality slicer thinking the G-code might be weird. But the Boat print pre-sliced and untouched on the memory card has the same problem. This happens to all my prints now. I doubble checked all the belts and wheels, they might actually be better now than the initial settup. I'm thinking of reinstilling the firmware next. Any tips or thoughs? This is completely ruining my prints.😟
YOU MISSED A VITAL STEP IN YOUR LEVELLING INSTRUCTIONS! STEP 1: Turn the knobs so that all springs are at or near their middle of compression. If you follow your instructions without doing this, the springs might end up uncompressed and doing nothing! Obviously NOT an engineer. LOL
I replaced the springs with the silicone bushes within a couple of days. Tighten them down so 10mm of the thread is visible below the knob, then level the corners, then ABL.
Its crazy how many people that barely know how to use a screwdriver, dive into this and just assume its a plug and play sort of thing. Its not. Its incredibly complicated for people that aren't wired a certain way. My wife is GREAT at gardening, cooking, painting, playing instruments and understanding music - among other things of course. I am good at none of that. Her mechanical knowledge is the equivalent of mine to her expertise. Literally zero. Commenting on these machines with ZERO knowledge is foolish. If you are more wife like than not, do yourself and the community a favor - spend your machine money on Etsy and buy premade prints. lol. Seriously.
Instead of disabling steppers use the Move X-Y to position the nozzle around the bed. This will take much longer but worth it getting that bed as level as possible.
Apply a drop of silicone grease to the lead screw and run it up and down using the stepper a few times. Then clean any excess from around the brass inset so that your filament doesn't get greasy. Should stop it moving without the stepper.

This is the best video on youtube about this printer, thx you my friend.

Your instructions worked like a dime, thanks a lot!
Great video helped me when I got mine an Dave not had any issues!
Just ordered one for my son! Thanks!
I got a defective unit there were several issues with the unit. I would not recommend the Ender 3 v2 neo and got myself a makerbot.
Thank you! This is so useful and concise
extremely helpful and easy to follow! thanks for the help man!

great review!
Thank you for explaining the leveling because I was so fucking confused watching other videos. I wasn't too sure what to do after assembling it.

You only level the bed once to be aligned to the printer's xyz axis. Then you can use auto leveling.
Lol These guys are insane with the incremental releases. I have an S1 and I am good for now
Thanks! This was very helpful
Great Video. Thanks
Hi, just one question how do you use the CR touch feature when one side is not leveled properly
Looks great

One question, is the Sovol laser engraver compatibile with the printer? It says that it is compatibile with the v2 does the v2 neo still work?

6:40 Leveling
Why do you have to use the paper for leveling if the system has the auto level function?
When leveling. I change the z offset to 0.0 but it's still way high of the bed to level
My printer keeps wanting to fall when i disable the stepper motors. How do I move x and y without moving z? If I just bump into the printer, the head falls down. It sucks.
How did you fix this?
How tight are the wheels on the back off the hot end?

@@SeeHowItGoes i believe it went away after I installed a new firmware. It's a while ago now, so I don't quite remember.
How thick is that paper you're using to level it out?
A4
@@TalkingNerdyWithCJ Thank you!
13 minutes and then no comment on the quality of the print?
I didn’t know I was supposed to manually level the springs. What does the self leveler do?
Followed the video but my z offset has to 1.70
yea mine is like a -1.9
for what reason had the autoleveling if i had to make manual???????
No run-out sensor?
Nope, they probably saving that for V3...
you're born with two run-out sensors between your ears.

Lol, I made neo 2 years before with a spritw pro ext, cr touch 4.2.7 board etc, creality copied my work I think😂
Z off set wasn't 2.70 😢hope it's not a big deal
It's different for every printer
