I really enjoyed that the film played it straight. And the tragedy of the vampire-mom slowly becoming more bestial worked for me. It was amazing.
I liked it. A different take on the whole vampire tropes you usually see in horror movies. It wasn't great, but it was definitely watchable.
They arrive at the same airport that Stephen King's Nightflyer showed up at. Then they gotta do that thing where you see someone from your professional life out in public and you both kinda pretend not to notice each other because you don't want to get pulled into an awkward conversation about work like, "yeah... hows uh... hows the whole being a vampire on a plane thing working out for you today? good... good... welll ya know... gotta get on my flight... see ya around..."
I really enjoyed that the film played it straight. And the tragedy of the vampire-mom slowly becoming more bestial worked for me. The scene near the end, when she's trying to keep her son away from her... That was excellent.
I've missed Orlok-style vampires. I'm okay with 'romantic vampires' but I prefer the monstrous ones. Tragic monstrous ones are excellent too.
Fun vid! Bobby's new suit is delightful, well done to the "sewist"
"I'm sick of these monkey-fighting vampires on this Monday to Friday plane!"
You made this movie sound more and more tempting, then mentioned 2 dogs are killed and immediately I changed my mind and jumped out of the hype plane, dying on impact. Appreciate the warning. :)
Something gets me when things chase you wildly down a hallway. Good thing horror movies love to do that one
I loved this movie, but I defiantly wish it was marketed differently. I would have loved if it was marketed as just a highjacking movie (though admittedly it would have taken me much longer to watch it) but I showed it to my boyfriend with no context, and his shock when she was a vampire was awesome! We loved it
I'm so happy you're covering fear street. I hope you do all three.
That is a very smooth suit Bobby's wearing!
Hi Mildread! I don't usually comment, but I've been enjoying your channel and if you want being a big nerd, I know Dominic Purcell not from either Prison Break or DCs Legends of tomorrow, but from Blade Trinity and a little known and probably forgotten one season show called John Doe.
"I cannot stress this point enough: the vampire is *on* the plain and she fights the terrorists."
I put this movie on thinking itd just be goofy fun and then it went ahead and made me feel things and got me invested. Pleasant surprise
Some friends were disappointed with this movie because they were expecting horror. But I thought it was clear from the advertising that it's a thriller. A thriller with scary moments. I loved it. It was trashy and fun and I loved it.
7 minute commercial for a movie about a vampire on a plane fighting terrorists
Perfection
Bobby babyyyy, lovin the new suit. Keep it up, star of da channel
i have finally caught up on the mildred horrorverse i have watched every video and i can’t wait for more :]
Oh shit! Animated Bobby Duke!
I love it when Mil-dread is excited about a movie. When she said, "Here's the thing - and I'm excited to share this information with you - " I just had to pause and take a moment to laugh with glee. This is gonna be a good one I think. :D
EDIT 1: Okay, second pause-laugh was at, "So if you just rolled your eyes, you don't deserve movies."
EDIT 2: third pause-laugh was right before Bobby Duke.
Dominic Purcell on a Plane?! This sounds excellent. 😍😍😍
Your review of Saint Maud was excellent and made me see it in a different light that lined up with my own view points on the film. Keep up the great work.
Vampires are played out we need more swamp monsters
But for that you'd need a swamp on a plain
@@AlbertoGarcia-wd7sc You can take a swamp monster out of the swamp. But you can't take the swamp out of the swamp monster.
If you do it right a vampire can _be_ a swamp monster.
@@AlbertoGarcia-wd7sc Fantastic pun! Maybe with global warming a plain could flood and become a swamp? Maybe the extra life or moisture revived something?
Army of the dead destroyed them and this movie is just that with charecters swapped around with one another
"Horror is temporary, drip is forever"
