I was fired for pointing out an OSHA violation and telling them the person who did it. Where I used to work, we followed all the rules and it was a very safe environment. Oh well.
I once took a job as plant engineer in a foundry. The company had issued hearing protection to all employees. I found workers in the grinding area with noise levels at or above 110 db, had drilled small holes in the earpieces to spell out their initials.
Sure. If it can handle the listed PSI rating, pretty sure it isn't going to break from a person grabbing it. I think it's more an issue that it's rather smooth so less safe?

That is because dynamite sweats, and the pure nitroglycerin turns fuzzy like that. Dynamite was wax paper tubes filled with diatomaceous earth impregnated with the nitroglycerin. They used to turn the dynamite every month or so to keep it from leaking out. I’ve seen sheds that the nitroglycerin had leaked and ran onto the floor. Walking on it or dropping a screwdriver can cause an explosion. The only way to safely get rid of it is to desensitize it with a hydrocarbon like diesel to move it, then burn it. Let me do your research for you. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamite
You've misplaced your quote marks. That dynamite resembles "mouldy vegetables". And that's a huge problem. Even more dangerous if people don't even _know_ that it's dynamite.
get way to tell me your dense without saying youre dense by typing they "x-rayed" the ground. You physically can not x-ray the ground. A handheld devise picks up the signal.
It’s clear from wording on the pictures to people’s comments on these things that the world has gone very soft. Yes I believe in getting things done safely and some of these are insane, you people don’t understand things have to get done. And a lot of the time all the safety stuff actually can cause more problems. Yeah there’s a time and place for OSHA, but seriously some of you people only feel safe in a bubble. Go ahead and cry all you want I won’t be responding FYI.
Adam Savage wearing a watch and wedding band while working on the lathe is nothing surprising. The whole show is based on safety violations and crazy ideas. It is supposed to be entertaining. I believe viewers secretly expect them to get hurt. Or at least that's how the show feels.
I’m thinking you never really watched the show. They say in order to recreate some of these things, or make them happen they have to do what they did. The show was done with all them understanding what could happen. I think only a small handful wanted bad things to happen, paraphrased, when they were doing it. And surprise, professionals don’t always follow safety protocol. It’s done knowingly but white collar soft handed people will never understand. To avoid your assumptions, I’m annoyed at morons talking about things they know nothing about.
@@blamehypocrisy.4053 To add to your personal feelings of annoyance, I watched many episodes of the show. I tried understanding the process, the lack of safety mindset, the lack of protocols. TV show writers write for people, for the audience. And with the average general IQ dropping every year, the show writing reflects that. Point in case: just look at all the soap operas, court shows, Oprah, SNL, if you choose to disagree with me that they are total garbage, then you just might be their target audience. And thank you for the kind words, I've never been compared to white collar soft handed people. Though you are way off. Bless your heart.

To quote.."come with meee, and you'll seeeeee, a world of OSHA violations..'

for permanent - questionable.
A 25mm PE-Pipe as a handrail isn't that bad if secured to the wall properly. Better than most steel handrails...
Easy to contour. I like it.

This guy is a complete whoosh. No wonder he got fired.

Turn down your goddamn volume
Thanks. I always do.

The napping wood chipper guy is OK as long as it's not actually running. But still.....
Suggest you research what the _"O"_ in _"OSHA"_ represents. I think you will find it does not represent _"Residential"._
Companies will only get away with what the employees allow....
not true
Are those Amish using a forklift? Menonites? WTF?
Probably Amish, although they do work together with Mennonites on various community projects. It's their own land, osha isn't invited.
Oh your background music is horrid, had to shut you down.

The only problem with that handrail is paint will not stick to it. IT's forever black.
It's okay... there's always colored duct tape ;-)
It's clearly only a temporary measure, _adding _ a safety feature during construction.
