As a fellow chronograph lover, I love the details you point out with the dial layout. Although not as extravagant as this Lange, I notice similar symmetries with my speedmaster pro. This has to be one of my fav videos on UA-cam. Thanks for sharing these awesome watches and your enthusiasm
Its expensive but for what it is i think its very affordable . It sells for around 70k po . I was shocked when i first found out . I thought something like this would easily be over 200k
I'm amazed these can be had for under 70k€ on chrono24. The markup for tourbillons really is unjustified imho, compared to something like this. Why should you spend 150-200k more to simply see a tourbillon cage spin? It isn't more horologically interesting than this and probably it will keep worse time also.
@Vuge but dont tourbilons kinda miss their point on a wrist watch, since it was developed for pocket watches and doesnt really make a difference on a wrist watch ?
@Vuge fair enough, but the question is if the level of complication justifies the massive price jump. picked up my first lange the other week ( 1815 annual calendar ) and tried on a tourbillon 1815 just for fun. i thought it was very pretty and the seconds zero reset thing is super cool in person, but the sticker was over 150k€, and for the money you could get a great perpetual calendar or even a lange decimal strike which I, a layman without any watchmaking skills, just a watch fan, would deem way more practical and cooler complications.
This does have a nick on the lower left lug, doesn't it? I can't imagine the feeling putting a dent into a master piece as this, plus knowing that one second of absentmindedness probably cost you a couple or even dozen thousand dollars…
I'm pretty sure all A Lang and Sohne watches have hacking seconds. Some of them have hacking reset seconds where they second hand is not only stopped but resets to the 12 o'clock position when you pull out the crown. Patek who again?
Great video and Great watch . But, one mm more and it will overlap any normal person`s wrist, no matter how the dial is busy , lug to lug should never exceed 46 mm .
@@TickTocking thanks Steve. the split chronograph of patek and this double split is essentially same complication, isnt it? and for this lange, can you tell me what is the thickness and lug to lug width? the watch seems quite big. do you think someone with 6.25 inches wrist can pull this off? is it top heavy that makes it uncomfortable? i agree with you that this piece is severely underrated!
No it is not Patek or any standard split seconds watch can only measure the time difference within a minute, double split can measure the difference within a 30 minute interval
One of the most beautiful pieces I have ever seen
That dial has a sober beauty ! That calibre has depth ! Literally ! Incredible movement ! Stunning movement ! Fabulous movement !
Then they’re like F it. No one else has done a double split so we’re just gonna go ahead and do a TRIPLE SPLIT CHRONO!!!!!!!!! Lange blows my mind.
The watch is absolutely gorgeous.

And just over 3 months after this video they came out with a Triple Split! Lange is nuts and awesome at the same time.
Great reviews!
Man this watch is freaking amazing!
Maybe not this color dial, but this model is my absolute grail. I may never own it but I acknowledge its total perfection.

Wow, great review! Very informative. I actually learned a lot from this video.
I wish you could also make a review of the triple split but its not easy to get hands on that legend .
New grail identified...

Hi great review how about one on the Zeitwerk
I really thought I had a Zeitwerk review, but you're right! Next time I buy one I'll video it
@@TickTocking waiting!
*The difference between the life of one who can afford this watch and mine ...*
*7:49** he forgets he is reviewing, stunned by beauty of the watch*
Watch is unreal!
They're now even more expensive :/
This watch has such a stunning mechanism and yet you didn't shoot a proper close up of it :-(
What. A. Watch.
Amazing will buy this
How does this compare to Squale Lion-shark?
BeautyofScent 😂😂

They just released a triple split!
But do they have a Triple Lindy?
Your chanel is TOP...please keep it up :-)
Excellent!!
And they now have a TRIPLE SPLIT. 😭

Best watch brand, no argument.
ASSUME PERFECTION I WANT ONE!!!
Like Bastard that's one of my grails lol.
I would spend the first year timing everything.
stunning
10 seconds to focus in the movent! That is unacceptable! I put the video in 0.25 speed in that part... Amazing movement...
In. Sane.
Thierry Stern disliked this video.
remove ap from the trinitry and put lange in their place.
I'm not a great fan of Lange, but I of course respect them immensely. But this watch I do love. It's just an awesome watch that begs to be worn.

Boop
Does it hack?
I'm pretty sure all A Lang and Sohne watches have hacking seconds. Some of them have hacking reset seconds where they second hand is not only stopped but resets to the 12 o'clock position when you pull out the crown. Patek who again?
I wish I had things to time
i love that black face
Boop !
Great video and Great watch . But, one mm more and it will overlap any normal person`s wrist, no matter how the dial is busy , lug to lug should never exceed 46 mm .
The Zenith El Primero also has instantaneous minute jump
this vs 5370 patek. which one you think is better?
5370 dial is nicer so I'd probably give it the nod for that. But all else equal if I had to have one, why not save $100k+ and go Lange! They're close

A nice watch for a night table, far too large on your wrist, or mine, or anyone aside from Hulk
is this your watch? It's a beauty.
