- In today's episode, we fire up and pull the 392 Hemi out of the 1958 Imperial! I've had this car for a number of years and I got offered a trade deal I simply could not refuse. It makes me sad to do this to this car, but good things will come of it, I promise! Join us on this adventure! Sit down, strap in, and enjoy!!

As always, thank you for watching, and have a nice day!
Damn, that sounds really fine. Such a shame to pull its heart out.
It really does! But overheats badly so it needed to come out anyways.
Interesting build so far. I will be with you to the end on this one.
Awesome! Thanks!
So is anything going back into that car? seems too good to become a parts car.
I don't think so, it's a very good car for sure, I currently have it for sale, I just don't have the time to give it what it deserves.
@@LambvinskisGarage price and location
@@jamesblackwell703 $2500 Oakville WA. Looks exactly like it does in the video, just no engine. Trans is in the trunk.
It's kinda shame to take that fine classic apart
I know :/ but the deal was too good to pass up
What are doing with the car afterwards...a modern gen 3 hemi would be cool in there.
I currently have it for sale, I don't have the room or time for it that it deserves unfortunately
Love it 392 and I like all your wagons. Good video.
❤ sweptlines! i have 2, wish to own a crew cab some day. thanks for the well produced right length videos
Thank you! I hope you find that crew cab you want! I want one too!
Poly with 4inch stroke and 0.040 " over bore pistons would have the same power and 200 lbs less weight and you could have run a later 5speed + lock up trans and saved another 50 lbs.....
Yeah but a Poly doesn't look as cool as a hemi under the hood. This won't be a hot rod race truck anyways, just a cool mild cruiser.
Super cool! A real Chrysler Hemi. As opposed to the plastic rattletrap fiat copycat.
Thats right!
I just threw a bunch of first generation Hemi parts in the scrap bin at the shop as no one wants them.
There's a lot of that you can! But 392s are very spendy and sought after still.

I still have a 392 Hemi in the shop from my dads 77 Dodge truck, he swapped it in there when the original engine died, I am on the southern oregon coast if you want the Hemi parts, I am keeping the engine tbough.
Is there a part 3 coming along?!
It got put on the back burner, BUT we should be assembling another 392, very, very soon!!
Can't wait to see it! Currently putting a 5.7 hemi in my 56 job rated and your videos are a good push
What are you going to do with the rest of the car?
It's currently listed for sale, everything is still there minus the engine.
Its looking good brother
Thanks man!
Nothing wrong with a Chevy
How much does a 392 weigh? A bunch?
A LOT. Upwards of 700lbs I believe.
I think Cadillac copied this car for 59. Sure looks like it in a lot of ways..
What platform is the car for sale on?
Facebook Marketplace in Washington state.
@@LambvinskisGarage thank you.
Sacrilege
I gave people the chance to buy it beforehand 🤷♂️ no one would buy it.
Would you be interested in coming to Alaska and looking at our car and doing some sightseeing this summer? My husband’s been traveling around and hasn’t had time to get a wagon that was inherited running. Since you’re proficient in Mopar it’s probably easier for you to come up rather than me putzing around through random me(th)chanics around here.
