I guess the 550 is popular because a lot of people are starting to sick of the air force 1. I personally can’t stand them. But there are so many great alternatives like the 550s.

The AF1 are a classic. They literally have NEVER at any point in time have gone out of style and in a match up would beat a majority of others. AF1s unfortunate & only downfall are that they’re not comfortable I’ve owned 8 pairs now and yet they still get sold out of stores
this is my favorite cw - copped a few months ago when they dropped in korea and have been wearing them non-stop - so neutral and versatile! i just picked up the birch cw for women hoping those are just as clean!
I really feel this colorway is really underrated. I copped them myself and the leather quality on this one is much better than the other GR colorways. He's right when he said this will be a good alternative for the ALD especially for the price.

They restock every GR colorway multiple times. Just look up releases and be real quick when they drop! Also, because they’ll restock and the way general market is going right now, Id wait to pay resell

My first 550’s were the UNC’s. I went with 43, which is my size with the 990’s. Unfortunately a bit too tight for my wide feet. Now I have the Syracuse in 44, but I still haven’t used them because I keep seeing a colorway I like better but keep striking out 😂 UNC’s are unfortunately my favorite colorway of these, though. Sucks that I got them, but in the wrong size.

@@LastGateFitness not sure, I guess 8.5 too? Not sure if all wide footers have the same problem, but for me it’s the toe box being too narrow. My pinky toe and the side of the ball on the big toe get pinched. I’m US 10 in 550, 2002R Air Max, Jordan 1, Forum Low. And 9.5 in Air Force 1, 990 V5, Jordan 11 and Ultraboost.

Im a size 11 usually what would you recommend for 550s?
Respectfully go TTS if wide footed like me. You will experience heel slippage no matter what. Just tie them all the way and you're good to go.

stop spreading wrong information. this isn't good quality leather. it's polyurethane coated and leather pattern printed on scrap leather. you can see that it's grey suede leather coated with poly and printed near the stitching. the only positives are the colors and the style.
These are alright… they gonna get played out soon like any other new hype pair of sneakers with too much colorway. And they copy the Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 low version. Y’all just don’t realize it yet lol
