I am hoping Florida has a similar season to Mizouri. They were at the bottom of everything last year coming into the season, and they ended with a very good team, winning a major bowl against Ohio St. Finishing in top 10. Mizzou did not have the greatest recruiting classes either, they just came together as a team and got better each week. I'm hoping the same for Florida.
Definitely time to have a winning mindset! They need to be able to stay consistent with a positive attitude with all those speakers they have available. Are there too many things in front of them to keep the focus? Simplify the routine or amount of voices they hear.
We will find out on August 31st. All signs point to improvement but until we see it on the field the fans, the recruits are wait and see. I really expect a much better team. Go Gators

Eh. They’re 18-22 year old kids. They can rebound after a loss if they need to. You just never know with college football what will happen in a season. 1 game doesn’t define a season, but it can set the tone for the next game.

Agree with you Ali on Ron Roberts hire. However, what makes you think that Special Teams will be vastly improved as I believe we have the same Coaching infrastructure (Couch as Gamechanger?). I'm thinking Mertz has to prove he can connect on the long balls to take the next step. Defenses loading the box with 7 or even 8 players because they are not worried about the long pass is a serious problem. Mertz also needs to throw the long pass if he hopes to make it to the next level.
Graham Mertz I hope keeps his steady game play take the check down high percentage dont try to do more then last year u can see from his badgers tape going down field isn't his strong suit we need our players to make people miss get north when the ball is in there hands we need everyone to take that next step up and help Mertz out we dont need him to win games when the team is playing as one that fight to finish comes from the coaches believing in there players that they can win the game confidence is key

How about that tipped pass that was thrown WAY behind Ricky and caught by Tre against South Carolina? There were things like that that were NOT GOOD QB PLAY and Gator fans are not being truly honest with that. There’s still too much disjointed play and some of that comes down to the flow of the QB play. He better prove some improvement early or Billy is gonna need to throw in DJ if he wants to keep his job.
Poor coaching decisians cost the gators at least the Missouri game. Gators were running the ball at will on their last drive. Instead of continuing the effort, when they got close enough to make a field goal they ran into the middle of the line 3 times, kicked a FG and turned the game over to a very questionable defense with 1:43 left on the clock. The result was a loss. One more first down then a FG would have left less than :10 for Missou to score. Napier was directly responsible for that loss.

Different players same head coach. Not having a winning mindset is on the head coach. I would love to believe but just haven't seen enough from Napier to make me believe this season will not be more of the same. He plays scared with a lead and that is not good.
