As a Tennessee fan, Florida's early schedule is manageable. They got Miami, Texas A&M, UCF, and Kentucky as the tough games in the first few weeks (@Miss State could be tricky as well). If they get through those, they are 6-0 going into Knoxville. It isn't laughable to think that Florida could win the first 6 games. I also think LSU is vulnerable to Florida. Tennessee has some mental issue with Florida most years so there is that as well. Now Florida won't beat Georgia or Texas.
Florida could be 0-6 heading into Tennessee and they would still have a shot at winning that game ……. That’s gonna be a great game. That stadium is gonna be rocking

I have to agree with Chris. If you look at what we had over the last few years ... the number of freshman who played, the lack of depth ... this years team isn't the same. They have talent. They have depth. They have an experienced QB who ranked high in completions. Most important, if our defense was just "average" last year we would have easily won 8 games. I think the defense will be much better and the media will be talking about the improvements as the year goes on. We ill come under the radar to start the year but by mid-season we will be respected again instead of being a penciled in win.
I know most people call me crazy , but I’m going with the higher ceiling this year. I’ve said 8 to 9 games this year and I’m sticking with it. I really like 8-4. It really just depends on how well the first part of the year comes out to be. Miami is a must win. Tenn I like to see one. If not then we need to surprise ole miss and LSU, at least split. Napier's first two staffs took UF so far backward and sucked all of the fun out of Florida Football that it's a little scary to feel any optimism. I'm encouraged that Napier finally realized that his Sunbelt buddies were not up to the task of having a team prepared to play in the SEC. Even scarier is that if Napier doesn't get this turned around THIS year, we're at risk of seeing long-term apathy set in. IF ... that happens, then we're on the slippery slope to becoming a perennial after-thought in college football. Did Napier make enough staff changes to change what we see on the field and on the sidelines? We'll find out in just a few weeks.
