I have been enjoying your tours but the history of the areas you visit are marvelous.

    Salut Corey et merci-li y a cinq ans que j’ai habite a 25 Rue de Seine (45:36)👆🏼❤️
You melted my heart to see my old apartment again. Great memories of l’epicerie and the art gallery Les Yeux Fertile who out of the blue invited this Canadian living above them to severl wine and cheese art openings! When a Parisian adopts you life is good!😘

Wow that sounds amazing! It’s one thing to spend time living in Paris but another to have those authentic memories of interacting with the locals and feeling like you belong there. I’m so happy for you to have that. Thanks for watching; I’m so glad this episode was special for you. I look forward to sharing more Paris with you in future episodes!

Loved this tour as well as the others I’ve seen. Thank you for bringing Paris into my home. It’s my favorite city, if I could, I would move there to spend a year or two.

Corey, I have a photo taken in 1990 of that Willow tree as a young sapling. The previous tree fell victim to the floods and one day I arrived to find it a mere stump, I was devasted as it was my 'go to place 'every visit to Paris since 1980. This was a great tour but I was hoping you would go down Rue de Nevers and show us the wonderful Scottish Pub. Next time.

Maybe the head carvings on Pont Neuf are the builders of the bridge.

    Magnificent
When you speak in French or in English , you have no accent in each language : It’s very strange 😉

Wow I love that comment - thanks! 😊 Learning French has been a big challenge but I love the language (and having a French wife helps) 😉. Thanks for watching!

I was in Paris four months ago (February, 2023) and walked by that Voltaire statute several times. However, the statute was gone and there only remained the base/foundation. Do you know what happened to statute?

The decision to build the bridge was made by Henry III who laid its first stone in on 31 May 1578. Henri III was not the father of Henri IV... as said

Good video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!
