Today, I am showing you some of the ideas I have for the kitchen and I would like to know what you think. We will be taking a break from the farmhouse as I will be shingling it and I discuss what we will be doing while I am shingling.

Hi Cheryl we had a nice quiet Easter. Hope you and your family had a nice one too. I loved hearing all your ideas, and very excited about the little things you talked about making. I really like the subway tiles. For in the kitchen with the subway tiles, what about wooden floors? I have a weakness for wooden floors. 😆 You are so right about dollhouses never really being finished.
Thank you, Laura. I have thought about a wood floor, I have some antique hardwood floors in my own house and they are gorgeous. I too like the subway tiles and thought about if I just use them for a backsplash, I might use them on the bathroom walls. Or, I might not use them for the backsplash and just use them for the bathroom walls. See, this is my problem, I think sometimes I should just do room boxes, too many choices with a whole house. Lol!
Hey Cheryl. The wallpaper is giving me dark academia vibes, the tiles would be great. How about a half and half, part painted wall with a dado rail then the wallpaper, dark and moody colour?
Thank you, Gareth, that's an interesting thought. I kind of wanted it to be more cheerful and bright though as it is a house that will have a family with children.
HI.Bathroom floor is great! I agree on the brick sizing, they do look largish but I like the idea of using them as a back splash. I agree to leaving the ceiling white and not use the embossed paper. I would have a better opinion on the wall paper if I could have seen it standing in the room. It makes my eyes kind of "crazy" but I am a very conservative person anyway. :) It will be so interesting to watch you make your cupboards. Just wanted to react as you requested. This video makes me wish I could hurry up and refind my creative spark again! I love the idea of creating your own cupboards. Thank You for an inspiring video!
Thank you, Aileen. Yes, I probably should have put some of the wall paper up against the walls and I agree, it is kind of a busy pattern and does tend to make your eyes go a bit crazy! I am glad I am not the only one who thinks the tiles look a little big. It will be interesting to see me make cupboards, I have never done it before, LOL. I totally understand what it's like when you lose the creative "spark" been there many times myself. I am sure you will find it again, sometimes we just need to step back and take a breather. You will find it again and, when you come back to YT, I will be watching!

@@craftingwithaileen Thank you, your support is greatly appreciated. I am putting up Pt 7.5, I put the paper in the kitchen behind some old cupboards I had and, its a no go on the paper! I think I knew that but, I loved the print and sometimes, it just takes someone else's input to make you realize what you knew all along.
