I love your creativity. Just pure Magic. I have no idea if the bed sheets are your original idea but it seems to create substance for sure. When you landed the completed ones on the counter it just seemed weighty and nice. What I especially love is that I have bags of bags and also old sheets from the garden when winter comes early. Using up stuff you already have makes for even better projects. Absolutely my favorite holiday for decades and you are my favorite new find this year. Cheers
Thanks for the comments and compliments! The sheets were something I heard you could used when I first started researching out the topic for the haunted house. They save so much time and hold better than paper by a long shot! I'm glad you enjoyed the content and hope this process helps in your crafts!
That’s so cool! Thank you for sharing this video…and as right now I have pumpkins and have them with 7 layers on each pumpkin! One from bag large, second of from bag medium sizes…they looks fabulous and getting ready to make the eyes tomorrow before I put paper mache. Good thing is temperature right now went down outside for couple days, but Sunday will get up again to 98 to 99 so I’ll be having these baby out again with paper mach on them…thank you so much for your fabulous ideas….🎃🙋♀️🎃
It makes me very happy to hear all the success stories people have had with these! I love making them and I plan to get back into making more after the haunt season this year! Thanks for the comment and be careful in that heat! 🎃
@@BloodCrestManorOfficial thank you! You are the one who really explained so good…and Yes I’ll be careful with this heat it’s driving me nuts, there’s day it’s go to 100 degrees up to112…it’s hot but I’m inside, but making crafts it’s the best to have them out for a tiny while because I make a bowl just with paper mache and brother it’s got brownie! Just for a 45 minute, I got scare seeing my bowl 🥣…this was last year.. but now I make sure my pumpkin didn’t get burn.but it’s ready to make the eyes and mouth, so I can start doing the paper mache clay…thank you again and you have a fabulous day…P.S. are you going to make any Christmas stuff? Please let us know! Bye for now…🎃🙋♀️🎃
@@rosaelinav8036 That's crazy about the bowl! It's finally cooling off in my area and I'm hoping it stays that way lol The eyes and the mouth design is one of the more fun parts of this so enjoy it and let me know how it goes! I don't plan on making any Christmas stuff at the moment (all my crafts go into the haunted house at this point) but I could see making a Christmas episode someday! Thanks for the support and good luck with the pumpkin!
The stem is made from a coat hanger wire in the middle and then I roll it into some newspaper. Then I take more newspaper and wrap it around the stem until it is the thickness I'm looking for. I glue it in with hot glue on the top and inside of the pumpkin. Once it has set (after a few minutes) then I put a paper clay layer on it. After that dries then you do your detailing. Great Question and thanks for the comment!
Yes that's right! You can find them at yard sales for extremely cheap. I look for sheets that will easily absorb the mache paste like 100% cotton is typically best.
Oh my gosh I rewatched that section 3 times and finally realized that it was BED sheets and not sheets of paper! What a FANTASTIC idea! I LOVE your work. Thanks so much for sharing!
When will you open your haunted house?! 🎃 The Blood Creat Manor episodes are SO good, love watching this haunted house come to life (or back from the dead, so to say…)
Currently, I'm expecting the haunt to open in 2024! I love watching the house transform into my vision for the haunt. It hasn't been easy, but I believe that it will definitely pay off! Thanks for your comment and support!
I tried to cook some Mexican tortillas on the grill. I buttered them and added a little sugar. But when they cooled off, they were as stiff as shingles. I suppose they could be shaped before they cooled.
The whole process (including drying) is around 17-20 days depending on how fast you're going. It takes a while to dry and will take up most of the time. Let me know if you have any questions when you go to make one!
I used paracord because I had plenty on hand and it was the perfect size 😄 You can use any rope or twine as long as it is the right size for the groves you want to make. Let me know if you have any other questions when you go to make one!
The strips are bed sheets and the stems on the pumpkins are made with wire and paper with paper clay on top of it. Please check out the other parts for more details on that! I also have a full tutorial video I just released that has it all in one video! Please let me know if you have any more questions!
I do have some paper mache props for sale at the gift shop in the haunt (clevers, knives, sickles) but no pumpkins yet! I need them for the haunt but once I make more than I need I'll sell them.
Sorry, but your music is way to loud and intense. I had to mute your video to be able to watch. But I will be making a pumpkin this way. Maybe two. Thanks.
This is amazing! I am so inspired. Now I want to make me 1 or many!! 🎃
Awesome! Definitely let me know how it goes and if you have any questions feel free to ask!
Amazingly done🎃🎃🎃🧡
Thanks! I love how these turned out and I plan to make a huge one for next years haunt! Look out for a video on that soon 🎃

Great tutorial! I gotta give this project a try. Just the best paper mache pumpkin I've seen made. Kudos to you!
Thank you so much for saying so! Let me know if you have any questions along the way and I'll be glad to help. Thanks for the comment!

I love this. Thank you for sharing your techniques.
No problem! I'm glad to see so many people learning from this and making their own! Please let me know if you have any questions 😄

Very cool. Did you make the stem from newspaper then glue it on, or with clay? Thanks for the video.

Will that be in the part 2 vid? ⭐️

Exquisite 👌🩷
Thanks! I had a bunch of fun making them all and they will all be on display at the haunted house this year!
Can this be made weatherproof for possible rainy nights?
Absolutely! Once its complete, they will be weather proof 👍
I tried to cook some Mexican tortillas on the grill. I buttered them and added a little sugar.
But when they cooled off, they were as stiff as shingles. I suppose they could be shaped before they cooled.
Try cooking them directly on the stove eye. Pretty sure that's how I saw it done a while ago lol Keep trying tortillas are worth!

So excited to give this a try. Thank you
Is there a reason you choose paracord? Can you use jute or something else?

How do you make the paper mache on top and are the strips plastic strips? 🦁

Good luck and have fun! Sorry for the music but I had to have something to fill in the quiet areas lol
music very irritating and ruined what should have been informative
