I just finished reading the book yesterday night, and when I saw the MV was released last night, I just knew I had to do this to fill this emptiness in my heart after finishing a good book (´。＿。｀)...
I like to collect quotes when reading, and to be honest, this book doesn't really tell me more things that I didn't previously know, it didn't change my perspective on things like what I would've expected from a good book, the characters ended up being part of your memory like someone that you know dearly. The book talks about how ultimately people just want to feel connected, and sometimes being intelligent (or not) makes you feel lonely.
I really love the bridge, when I was recording this, I could feel that I meant what I say, I imagined the scene when Charlie fell asleep on Alice's lap, and Charlie dreaming about the pink-cheeked maiden holding the sword. The MV was somehow similar to Charlie Gordon's room that I had in mind, so I want to keep it this way.

I actually sang this 2 weeks ago or so, only up till the first refrain. I didn't plan to continue it because at first, I thought that was enough. But I listened to the audiobook and felt like I had to know more, so I read the full book, and I thought about working on this again last night on the way home.
After dinner, I saw the MV and I suddenly changed my mind. So I re-recorded everything, mixed, and I want to publish it.
Maybe I don't want to be left behind, I want to talk and discuss this book while everyone else is also looking at it. Maybe I just want to feel connected. Maybe I'm just FOMO. LOL ヾ(•ω•`)o
