I liked installing these so much on the rear I bought a set for the front so both tires now have them. Never used them before but excited to give them a go, the ease of install is worth it so far.
The balls expand a bit as you ride and basically 'fill in' to touch each other. I could see having weird spots in the rim if you try to subtract a lot of balls from the wheel, I'd drill holes through them before removing balls for harder enduro.

maybe "R" for rotation giving the direction ?
How do these not just let sharp edges separate them and still hit the rim?
