    This is one of the best, exciting, erotic, driving rock & roll songs I've ever heard and the guitar riffs are absolutely adrenalin pumping! I can't say enough about Bob's voice!

    One of his best songs ever!! Hard to believe anybody doesn't like it. They just don't know good music when they hear it. We should be so lucky as to have decent music today.

    You can't deny that Bob never left anything on the table....he poured every ounce of himself into his songs. This one has always been my favorite.

    Bob S did probably the best job of all the rock musicians relating those seminal moments of youth. First girlfriends, strippers, and more strippers. I love it!

    This song actually creates atmosphere and a temporal bubble where everything is permanently fascinating. Nothing else quite like it; it stands alone. Such a great performance here too

    This has to be my absolute favorite; I could listen to it repeatedly, and never get tired. He's not degrading women; more or less, just appreciating their ability to excite a man, just by her 'strut'.

    Bob Seger performed live several times in the 1980's at Poplar Creek Music Theatre (now defunct) in Hoffman Estates, IL, a NW suburb of Chicago. I saw every one of his performances there. The bass and the drums still pound in my veins in 2009. Definitely one of the greatest rockers EVER!

    Saw this band in Milwaukee during the early 2000s. He kicked out so much energy....Amazing performer As cold as they come.

    I really dig "Maracca Man!!" One set isn't good enough.....he has to have FIVE!! That takes REAL musical talent!😆 And he gets into it just as much as Seger is.

    I saw him as an opening act in 75 and again as a headliner in1980. This looks like it came from the 80s show I saw outside of Wash DC.

    I never knew how deep it went throwing off those chords to anybody else but me, but watching Bob Seger on guitar live here shows the emotion he feels playing the music he wrote. 'Her Strut' is intense music writing and music playing--I have no doubt now.

    Wow! I was at this concert, but I wasn't supposed to be. My older brother snuck me out! I was too young. I saw so many good live shows at the Cap Centre! Oh, to have those days back!

    Bob Seger puts on one of the best concerts I have ever seen in my lifetime. He is great and comes on for more encores than any other. Maybe he just liked Birmingham though. :D

    It was a long time ago but I remember reading an interview with Seger where he said this song came about after he watched Jane Fonda walk in for a senate hearing.As she passed all the senators who were demonizing her at that time, he saw their heads turn and watch her 'strut' equipment

      We ALL make mistakes when we are younger. It’s part of this thing called Life. Overall, I believe Jane brought attention to the War, ultimately ending after too many lives were lost and men and women were sent home half of what they were emotionally and the open arms of America were missing in action, just like a number of his band mates…

    My favorite Seeger tune! Saw the reunion show in the early 90s. It ROCKED! Even silver haired his voice was still awesome. Still did those full on mountain lion sounding screams! ...especially evident in this song! Thanks for sharing brother, killer clip from an all time rocker for the ages!

    Thanks for the great video! I loved watching Bob Seger do some mighty find "struttin'" of his own, playin' that guitar!! Fun, fun to watch....and this was and still is a favorite song of mine. I think I must have played this cassette tape so much, that it wore out! Great, great song!!

    OH MY GAWD! HUGE Huge Seger fan since 1977 and just saw this clip for the for the first time! Only one thing on God's green earth hotter than watching Bob Seger run his fingers through his hair: Alto Reed poured into skin tight leather, pumping those large, round . . . ahem . . . maracas!

    Her Strut was on Against the Wind. Nine Tonight was recorded mostly at Boston Garden. This was from the Largo, Maryland show, the only one that was filmed. I was in the opening act for most of this tour, Sept. to Nov. 1980. Seems like yesterday.
