    I had to drop the starter, unbolt the positive battery cable (where it tethers to the chassis) and try just about every conceivable angle to get the damn thing out!!

    So you didnt actually use thay 15mm ratcheting wrench? Just used it to balance weight with jack to oil pan?

      @aaronfixes8400  2 роки тому

      Correct! Just to distribute weight

      @@aaronfixes8400 man it was not an easy job at all. Some videos really make it look like cakewalk but surely isnt. When said and done i ended up removing heat sheild on side of motor block (just 6 screws,simple) also the starter (two long bolts) even then it fought me the entire time but its really just that heat sheild that comes attached to the motor mount. Without it job would be simple. Appriciate your video

    How did you determine it was passenger side mount? What were the symptoms?

      Acceleration made the engine "jump" or move under the hood, alternatively you can have someone standing outside looking at the engine while the other puts it in drive, hold your foot on the brake and press the gas pedal at the same time to see if the engine moves without vehicle moving ( just another method to diagnose). Try at your own risk*

      Well for the passenger side you would need to do it In reverse.

    Pro tip you don't need a jack just have your wire hold the gas pedal in reverse at 1500rpm
